Amazon NEEDS to end their contract with the USPS
I have had nothing but bad experiences with Amazon ever since USPS got the contract from them. I've repeatedly requested Amazon not use the USPS for the past 3 months and they continue to use them instead of UPS. Twice the local Post Office in Oneonta, NY has claimed they couldn't deliver on a Sunday because they CLAIM my porch and driveway were unaccessible. There's no snow in Upstate NY and my car is in the driveway. The carrier is too lazy to deliver on a Sunday and the post office does nothing to remedy the problem. Yet UPS has absolutely no problem delivering items to my address. Shame on you Amazon and USPS.

Purchased this couch a year ago with the SmartGuard warranty plan.....now I have a problem with the power recliners and can not get service. It is an absolute joke and very frustrating!!!!! I have been trying to schedule service for nearly a month! Many Promises but no service. They will not put anything in an email only phone calls to a foreign agent, and website will Not allow you to view your registered products or see claim status. The manufacturers website is ridiculous too, they will not reply either.
I called Amazon customer service and the supervisor said it was out of their hands! What good is the product or warranty bought on “Trusted Amazon” if you can’t use it!!! I am very upset with this whole deal! It appears to be a Huge Scam!
It is sad when you think your product is covered and then you are forced to hire a law firm to get any result.
Amazon.....If you are not gong to stand behind your products and warranties, Don’t Sell It! That is Consumer Fraud!
Amazon has become all about money
Amazon has become all about money, they no longer care about the customer or their employees. I have had several problems with sellers on Amazon and it took me lots of phone calls to Amazon after being ignored by the sellers and having them spam me with the same messages over and over again, to get the problem resolved. I think they need to do a more thorough job of vetting their sellers, especially those who are selling from overseas or large metropolitan areas, as this is where I have had issues. The quality of many products is also much lower, as well. I purchased a bed frame for my son that showed great reviews yet it broke in 3 places and we didn't even own it for a year. Now I do not trust the reviews anymore, either, which is unfortunate.

Really rude behaviour towards applicants for job. They're customer obssesed, they say, but they should be as much obssesed with their potential employees and how they follow up with them and communicate with them. Applying for job in Amazon is really a miserable, cold, unfriendly experience that makes you feel diminished, marginalized and very invalidated. Never again!

Went from Love to Hate
I have been an Amazon customer since I can remember. I relied on Amazon for both personal items and items for my business. I went to purchase an item on Amazon and noticed I was locked out of my account. I called and the only thing they would tell me is that I had a credit card dispute (which I do not). A few months ago I noticed e-mails with three game purchases from Amazon. I called them immediately as they were not my purchases. They assured me that it wasn't showing up on their end and could be a scam to click on something in the e-mail. So now a few months later I find myself locked out and the only thing they will tell me is didn't you receive an e-mail? I did, it showed they wanted me to pay for a media purchase which I didn't make and am assuming were the games I initially called about.....but nothing ever showed up on my card so there was never a dispute. The two times that I called customer service they wanted me to provide them with a credit card so they could charge this media to my card. Again, not my purchase. Their customer service is awful. I have done several positive reviews on purchases, purchased Prime and been a loyal customer for over twenty years and will never purchase another item from them again.

As a long time AMAZON customer I am quite disappointed in your response. You would lose a faithful and frequent ordering customer over a $17 credit to my account!!!!! I will be sure to mention that when I post a review of how AMAZON treats it's FAITHFUL customers !!

As an Amazon Prime member when I buy a "Prime" item, I am supposed to get it in 1 to 2 days. Amazon has abandoned this contract because you usually end up waiting at least a week for your dhsapackages. I have called customer service 5 or 6 times but they will give you credits and credits are nice and all but I really need the product within the "Prime" time line as stated on their website. Amazon used to be a great company and I hope that they will get their act together or I will have to somewhere else to do business. Funny thing, I ordered a pair of pajamas and of course to a week later. I called customer service girl on the other line knew absolutely nothing about their "Prime" program and had the audacity to as me why I needed a pair pajamas that quickly. I think that they are growing too fast. They really need to get their act together.
No customer or employee retention
Customer service is not only outsourced but the employees have very few options other then to verbally de-escalate with no real solutions. There is NO customer or employee retention. Prime shipping has no guarantees any more at all. Recommend- Walmart.com, Newegg.com
Nice website
Amazon is my main shopping website. I go to it everytime I need something. Amazon is a trusted website for me. Even though some of the items I buy aren't what I expect, I'm not getting negative feelings. I can't argue with Amazon, since I know this happens sometimes. I mean, they already give you pretty good deals and shipping options, why would I complain? Overall, it's a great website to use if you need something fast and quick.
Charging my CC for Prime membership without authorization
Another greedy multi national finding ways to increase their bottom line. I was charged Prime membership WITHOUT my authorization on my credit card. When I called them instead of cancelling it they told me that I would have to do it. I wonder how much more money Bezos needs !!!!!

I found myself at Amazon.com every day. That's what they want!!! I decided to cut the cord when they sent me five of something I ordered ONE food item that is NOT returnable. We couldn't agree, and like Kroger, I don't keep shopping there after being cheated, I just leave. Amazon you are too big for your britches, and although I really did fall in love with you, for my own sanity I've cut the Amazon cord for good, as your interest in my wallet was a little too much interest if you ask me. The effort you put into captivating people is alarming, and although nobody can deny the convenience of shopping with you, at what price do we pay for this convenience? Please do not rely on Amazon, shop around. Go to the direct store of the seller, anything but making this website your primary store.
