I rarely leave negative reviews, and this is based on serious concerns regarding transparency, CRM systems, compensation, and business practices.

I worked with American Alternative Assets as both a customer and independent contractor. My concerns began when I became aware of what management referred to as “pilot programs” within their HubSpot CRM system.

Based on my observations, CRM activity, leadership discussions with Shaun and Shanon, and written communications, these were algorithmic CRM systems built through paid development and internal configuration. From what I observed, these systems influenced lead ownership and client assignment by reassigning opportunities already in progress or originated by independent contractors.

This resulted in CRM lead reassignments where deals were moved out of the original opener’s name and reassigned within the company, directly impacting commission attribution and credit for sales.

When I raised these concerns, my understanding from discussions and written communication was that the system behavior I identified was acknowledged. I was also told I could benefit from the system, which I declined due to concerns about fairness and transparency.

I reviewed CRM history, lead transfers, account activity, and commission records from the inception of these systems. Based on the information available to me, I concluded that opportunities I generated were reassigned to others, affecting commissions I believe I earned.

I also raised unpaid compensation concerns directly with management. Certain commissions were acknowledged as owed but remain unresolved.

The core issue is transparency in CRM systems, Gold IRA sales processes, precious metals investing, and retirement investment services. There is no clear, independently verifiable way to confirm lead ownership or commission calculations.

I cannot recommend this company. Whether you are a customer or independent contractor, if you cannot verify compensation math, commission structure, and CRM lead ownership, there is a fundamental transparency issue affecting openers, closers, and account executives.

This reflects my personal experience, observations, and opinion.

This was my second order with American Alternative Assets. This order went to them because of their assistance in selecting which gold and silver assets to consider. This was a big plus. My last order placed in February of 2025 increased 196% in value over the first year. These are people I can trust.

As a novice investing in precious metals I am very impressed with the people who have spent their time and shared their expertise to enlighten me on the value of holding precious metals as a hedge against what appears to be inevitable inflation. Jacob Whitmore, Michael Christian and Michael Danian are experts in their respective specialties. They are incredibly knowledgeable, patient and easy to work with. I highly recommend America Alternative Assets when you are thinking of investing in precious metals.

I was very stressed about invesrting in gold (It was a new experience) and they talked with me over a period of time to ease my concerns. No pressure.

This was a great experience buying gold and silver. Will Hart handled the entire transaction, and based on all the nonsense happening out there, it is the safest thing I could do to protect my hard earned cash.

I had been thinking about flipping my IRA to Gold and Silver for a year. I did contact other companies, but I felt they did not care. I am very impressed with American Alternative Assets. Walter Dombroski and his support team Tony Lim, Randy Ashburn and others were very knowledgable, informative and professional. The patients they displayed in answering my question made me feel they are knowledgeable and trustworthy. In these uncertain times it is imperative to have a sound stable team to find economic stability. American Alternative Assets certainly meets this requirement.

I have been blown away with the process and service that I received with AMERICAN ALTERNATIVE ASSETS. I had not been satisfied with the attention from my accounts in the stock market. I sent out several inquiries regarding some alternative assets. I was treated so well by Michael Danian and his associate. Tony Lin. They treated me like I was family and made sure they answered all my questions and held my hand thru the whole process. I’ve worried about the dollar and was afraid that I had no good alternatives and realized that I had some great alternatives. I felt like they were family. The attention to detail was such a relief. You can’t have a better company watching your assets. Don’t hesitate.

I have been very concerned about the stock market in relation to my retirement account, and felt I needed to do something proactive to protect my nest egg. I read about American Alternative Assests online, and did some background research. I have to say I'm very pleased with my decision to join AAA. The process was easy with the help of the staff walking me through it. They communicated clearly and honestly. A special kudo and thank you to Michael D and Travis.
They continue to keep me updated on my account. I no longer worry about my nest egg, which feels like a giant monkey off my back.

I will start by saying I went to this company not knowing much about precious metals, But the friendly and helpful people there took lots of time providing me with as much info as I could digest. I’ve had several great experiences with American Alternative Assets…I’ve worked with Randy Ashburn each time and know that I can trust where my money is going.
The process is pretty simple and the ship time is really fast. In this day and age, it’s intimidating to send money to companies that you don’t know, but I’m confident with American Alternative. I’ve been educated and understand exactly where my investment is going and what I’m going to receive. I get a list of all the metals that I purchase along with the number and worth of each piece. I totally encourage you to invest in gold and silver with how crazy our economy is. It’s also reassuring to know that you can always sell it back if you need to get some money back in the bank. Since I’ve built a relationship with Randy, I’ll always go back when I’m ready to purchase more. I’ve referred other people to him and they are all as pleased as I am.

I had a goal of investing in something besides cash in the bank so contacted American Alternative Assets for assistance buying some precious metals.. I feel very satisfied with my purchase after the company fixed an misunderstanding we had.
