DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! If you’re in the same boat as me go to CFPB website and file a formal complaint requesting proper documents! This company is shady and deceitful, and they know exactly what they are doing. Numbers don’t lie…73% reviews give them 1 star, that’s all you need to know! I’ve never had a stronger hate for a company as I do this one. They are every thing that is wrong with corporate America. They are crooks, they are liars, and they are thieves! Illegal fees, give loans counting on you to default, border line illegal, and definitely unethical interest rates. Even documents I requested aren’t truthful, they doctored them, not disclosing the illegal fees they charge, because they know if I peruse it they will have to make it right, or worse. Well now I have all documentation and the proof they intentionally omitted fees and charges these from the documents to try and cover their ass. And 10 months of statements are just magically missing from my online account. I am most definitely going to pursue legal action. They won’t offer any type of refinance, or relief. They truly don’t give a shit about customers, and unless you want to watch your principal go up or stay the same, you will have to double up your payments for the life of the loan. They not only want you to be upsidedown on your vehicle, they make damn sure YOU do go upsidedown. Trust me that is their motive from the start. High interest, high hidden fees, and shady tactics, all by design! They prey on people already struggling in this oligarchy of country, and they do it proudly without remorse. They truly don’t care, they are the perfect example of a company designed to bleed the little people dry, and laugh all the way to the bank. It’s absolutely appalling and disgusting! At this point I’d rather let them take the car, and take the hit on my credit for the next 7 years to not have to pay them another damn dime! And shame on Carmax for doing business with them!!! This company is as UNamerican as it gets!! GFY!!!

I can't wait to get rid if these ppl...customer service is horrible...they lie about grace periods when it is time to make your payments and their interest rates is through the rates they sell you cars that they know are bad so it makes it easy for you to struggle with payments when you fall on hard times and easier for them to want to take your vehicle than help...this place is a hinder not a help they will screw you over...when you try to get extensions they lie and bull crap with the process making you more delinquent they all say the same line they are trained to say that they are serious this is happening to you...not they aren't...when you ask for a manager they will take long on purpose instead of getting one that maybe can help a little bit...I regret ever using this company they are not help to us as consumers or customers...warning do not use this bogus company

You guys really screwed me over with such a bad loan, I got a $10k car but paying more towards the loan doesn’t even go straight to principal. There is no way to avoid paying $32,000 for this $10k car which by now is worth less, this is sickening, I hat thinking about it, and the car dealers that used this loan should know better, I don’t know everything about loans and at the time I was ignorant to how bad it was they should backpay everyone they screwed over with interest and finance charges

This company is an EVIL, SCUMMY, DISGUSTING excuse for a business. They want their customers to fail. They would rather take back their vehicles then help the clients paying them. First 42/60 payments on time. After calling and asking for a deferment due to hardship, approved only for 1 month though 3 were requested. From that point, the following 5 payments were made late, due to their UNWILLINGNESS, not inability, to help with the requested time. Fast forward a few months later, there is a whole in the engine block due to mechanical failure. Warranty no longer good. Account is not eligible for another deferment. And the manager I spoke with sounded all TOO HAPPY to let me know I can pay the payment back or give the car back. This “company” IS A JOKE, THE JOKE THAT ALL OTHER JOKES LAUGH AT. THEY ARE A CORRUPT GROUP OF MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE. Again, First 42 payments on time, out of 60. And they cannot help in a tough situation when I have made it very clear I want to keep the car but need assistance getting it fixed. RUN, RUN AS FAR AND FAST AS YOU CAN. tried to pay off car loan.i asked them if they would take a credit card. they said they would except a Mastercard. after getting declined and calling city bank they were running the card as a cash advance. when i confronted them 1st lady hung up on me .the 2nd time the lady said she had no idea because it was a 3rd party running card. they are knowingly committing fraud. committing fraud is a serious crime. i will be filing a complaint with the banking commotion. stay far away.

Not good with this company they are not honest they are forcing me to pay for a warranty that isn’t even covering my vehicle they said they can’t remove it after another rep said they could til they realized they owe money to me now I’m seeing a auto lawyer for warranties canceled and the company refusing to grant the owner’s request it’s against the law on top of all the mental anguish Smdh why can’t companies follow protocol abiding by rules ? Instead dishonest and greedy

My car was totaled and the insurance paid my car off in a timely manner. I was due a refund credit from American Credit Acceptance and I was told it would take a month for them to process. I don't owe them Anything so why do I have to wait an entire month to get back money that they owe me. This is ridiculous and makes no sense to me. They got their money now you're holding mine. I definitely would not recommend using this company for financing.

This company is horrible. I have my car loan through them. I was late paying my car payment due to not only the pandemic, but also due to having to move to another city for work. They repossessed my car and even after several conversations with them made it nearly impossible for me to get my car back. Don't do business with them.

I called American Credit Acceptance. The person l talked to is Amesha. She was kind and made me feel better in a bad situation. Thank you.

Straight up scam. They clear engine codes before selling repossessed cars so they can screw the buyer by selling as-is. It's legal fraud. Hoping this helps save someone else.
