AVA was extremely helpful to my brother and I as we applied for benefits for our father. We started on paperwork by ourselves and soon realized it would be a monumental task. Several neighbors had used AVA with positive results. They know exactly how to complete all the forms correctly and were available to us whenever we contacted them. They were very easy to work with every step of the way.

The guidance we received prior to applying for my husband's veteran's aid and attendance benefit was comprehensive. Because our questions were answered thoroughly as we proceeded through the per-application process, we could proceed with confidence when we submitted his application. My husband received his benefit with no delays. Thank you, AVA.

American Veterans Aid did a great job helping me through every step in the process to apply for survivor benefits for my Mom. I appreciate the care and conscientious support they provided. It was about a five to six month process from start to getting the benefits. The key was the letter of intent at the beginning so that my Mom received benefits dating back to the start. I couldn’t imagine doing this without their support.

I was extremely skeptical when my sister suggested this service for applying for surviving spouse benefits for my mom. However, I knew that our family didn't have the time, expertise or resources necessary to move through the application process without help. After a thorough internet search and meeting with the AVA representative, I felt comfortable enough to move forward. I am SO thankful that we did!

From the beginning, the AVA representatives were fantastic. It was evident they were so experienced - they knew exactly what documents we needed to complete and the best way to share information to ensure a smooth approval process. We felt supported every step of the way. It was also comforting to know that there was an accredited VA claims agent who would be reviewing our application. We felt confident that when the application was submitted, the VA would have everything they needed in order to make a determination. It would have taken months for us to manage this process on our own and I'm not confident we would have made it through.

With AVA's assistance, my mom received the full aid and attendance benefit. This is absolutely lifechanging for her! It provides our family such peace of mind to have additional resources available to provide her with quality care.

Everyone I worked with at American Veterans Aid was caring and knowledgeable. They were very communicative every step of the way. As I worked through the process, I had access to phone numbers and emails of the people I was working with. I can’t imagine having to navigate this process without them!

It was a lot of information gathering but I was guided every step of the way. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Truly their fee was the best money I ever spent-my loved one is now receiving her aid and it is extremely helpful

Various staff from AVA helped through every step of the process. We had several conference calls, and emails were answered very quickly. I was filing for a relative with Alzheimer’s and she was not able to help; the AVA was able to tell me which info was most important and often how to find it. The application was approved, retroactively to the date of filing.

They are very helpful, you can call , e-mail with questions at any time. Kind supportive and understanding.

They walked me through the specific requirements/documentations that I needed to supply on my application. They were very responsive when I provided the documents. With their support, I received my 1st benefit check in a timely manner without having to amend my VA application or provide additional documentation.

This agency “American Veterans Aid” which helped us submit all the necessary paper work was extremely helpful. There was a charge for the service they provided. We were approved and received monthly payments in about 3-4 months.

I was skeptical at first, having to pay upfront, not knowing what the outcome would be…but Marilyn helped us with all our questions, assured us that they wouldn’t proceed if they had any questions about our Mom being approved for VA benefits, it did take about 5 months, but the process went so smoothly, and Mom was approved for benefits! We are so thankful for this financial help!!

Initial process was good, inputting all information requested was a chore but went fairly smoothly.
Working out details got a little harder.
It became progressively more difficult to get in touch with my assigned case manager. Neither phone messages, emails or texts were answered in a timely manner.
After packet was submitted, and a submission date confirmed, silence fell.
There were no more updates on progress or when we might see our funds.
Total was eight months from date of submission of info (Feb) to funds appearing in our account (Sept). That was much longer than the 3-4 months I’d been told to expect.

This company was extremely helpful answering all our questions and getting my uncle his benefits. I would truly recommend them to anyone who is applying for Veterans benefits.

Every person I had contact with was very helpful and always called or emailed me back in a timely manner.
They helped me step by step. Answered any questions I had.
But, I still don't understand why it costs so much for their help.

Help is available from people who care. It might take some time to receive funds from the government but it is very helpful for us to get the help needed. Again, thank you for all help. 👍👍😎

All business was conducted on the telephone, we did not have to pull my 94 year young mother into different offices and buildings!
Everyone knew their job well and helped with any concerns we had.
