I foolishly signed up for a dating website called AsianMelodies - shortly after I started receiving email notifications from ArmourFactory. Both sites show professional pictures of models that purport to be women seeking marriage or friendship - in both cases neither site is proposing anything other than friendship with a view to forming a decent relationship (IE there is no hint of sex or other kind of casual hookup that other dating sites give you)
You then receive a constant stream of messages notifying you of chat, letters, or messages. The only way to see the messages is to purchase coins on the site. At first, the messages seemed genuine but the conversations kept using the same or similar phrases. The site will also prompt you with possible replies to the messages. For example, the message Why do men like bad girls? prompts you to reply with phrases like "Do you collect anything? What car do you drive? Do you like sports?"
on trying to delete my profile using my phone, I found there is no way to log in to the account and deactivate it. More alarmingly, choosing the account option prompts you to enter your email address and change the password. This is the only option.
I then clicked on some links on my MacBook only to be warned by Norton Safe Web that the AmourFactory.com site was a dangerous site and I should not access it.

Lucky I never actually purchased any credits but I almost did. I realised when the same drop dead gorgeous women kept sending me letters and messages. ‘Are your arms big enough to hold my heart?’
‘I dream of you already are you dreaming of me’?
Right - we have no photo just a profile saying if they or any family they know of need to get out of the start of WW3 our Govt can help so
get in contact and we have given an email.
We are doing this to help Ukrainians.
The replies clearly show the ‘girls’ are NOT in Ukraine, have no feeling of fear of their country being destroyed and haven’t even read our profile yet in some cases have sent up to 10 messages and every one a question.
This is clearly a completely fraudulent website and anyone who believes they are messaging the ‘girl in the photo’ is being completely conned.
Wake up everybody. You’re conversing with a man in an office who just wants dollars for each reply you do.
Even the positive reviews on here all use exactly the same phrases, in some cases they are identical but from ‘different’ people. Total scam.
EDIT: several messages today each with multiple shallow questions. The objective being to get us to believe these are actually from ‘girls’ when our profile clearly states we are on the site to make contact to help Ukrainians.
It’s very clear the site is a SHAM.

Amour Factory is supposed to be a place for people to meet and possibly engage in a relationship should they connect on a deeper level. The framework of this site essentially uses an algo to keep male customers spending money to acquire tokens for the purpose of engaging conversations. The problem is Amour Factory has no intention of allowing a connection or allowing 2 adults to continue having conversations outside of their website. Should I want to have a conversation with someone on whatsapp that I met on Amour Factory, what is the problem? AmourFactorys' many rules dictating the manner in which two adults can progress their relationship based on the number of tokens they spend engaging is indicative of the fraud the perpetuate. If I am wrong, prove that you are not using these women as clickbait and you are actually not a dating site at all. Men, please make better use of your time and find another means of engaging others. This site was built for one purpose, to take your money and leave you with hot air. Live a little and stay away from this site.

Integrity? When you make people pay to chat with someone else just to get to know them, its fraud. This is not even about the money you charge, it more related to the fact that your rules dictate and control the development of any relationship. The progressive cost stack to buy tokens is unreasonable. 20 tokens for 2.99 then 45 tokens for 20 dollars. I guess the question is, does your "special procedure" benefit Amour Factory or the customer. Your special procedure assigns a value to the interaction between individuals which should be free. Sites usually charge in an effort to further the development and increased functionality of the site. Not to pimp the women on the site. Thanks for your calculated response but I don't think Amour Factory will be around much longer. I was on the site for a couple days and this was the conclusion after such a short period of time. I was registered to two of their sites and was paying hundreds and they blocked both accounts on their site,giving a reason that according t paragraph 9 of terms of use,we can suspend or terminate the account at anygiven time,whitout any further explanation.This was the same f#$$Kevin from Customer service.I paid around 600 $ and they suspended my account.This is money grabber,scam and criminals stealing money and blocking you whitout any given reason.AVOID AT ALL COSTS.The money invested in their fake site would have been netter spend in the country of the girls i was talking to. Garbage site,extemly expensive and money grabbing. This is the msg i received from this Kevin,twice,from both the sites i was registered to.

This place is terrible and I agree with the other users. Do not waste your time. Like other users they refused to close my account! How ridiculous and also illegal under data protection laws.
Even their reply was bogus. When you contact the support team they ask you to supply all kinds of additional information that is not needed. They even asked me to write a statement withdrawing my rights to claim against them in the future - completely unnecessary and also illegal when people have requested to have their account closed and their personal data removed.

Really expensive
A good site with what appear to be genuine women, however the service is so expensive to use. If you want to communicate directly with someone that you've met, you have to spend just under £550.00 before they will release their contact details. If it was cheaper to communicate with people, the site would be almost perfect.

Whilst I appreciate your comments, it still doesn't detract from the fact that it is extremely expensive to use your services. If you want the contact details of someone that you've started to build a relationship with, it will cost you almost USD1,000. That is a ridiculous amount of money to have to spend and you could subscribe to any other dating site for 12 months for less money that I have spent in 1 day on Amourfactory.

This web site is another money making con artist site running by criminals probably Russians. Soon after I created my account and uploaded my pictures I realised this dating site is corrupt and ladies are fake or hired by those who are running this scam, so I tried to delete my profile which is easily possible with other legitimate sites but I couldn't. I send an email to the customer support requesting deleting and removing my profile but they refused. Instead they are asking for more info about my ID (complete name as it is on my documents). These people steal peoples ID and pictures and used them in different marriage agencies or use them in other criminal activities. When I tried to find my profile ID number I realise that they have blocked my IP address so I can't even open their site, not even without logging on to the website.
I don't know to whom or where I should report this but the least I can do is to warn others. this is copy of their email :

We do not pay the validated members for communication with other users and prohibit our Regional Partners to do so. If we find out that the user is paid by the Partner for communication on his/her behalf, we fine the Partner and immediately delete the user’s profile.
Also, from our side, we do not tolerate the scam. In case the investigation results confirm the violation of the rules such users will be banned from the site.
