We had a superb experience renting an automatic Toyota Yaris from Anna Cars at Heraklion airport two weeks' ago. It was easy to book the car online, the communication was excellent, and the man who was there when we picked up the car was the most helpful and patient person we have ever had dealings with at a car rental place. There were no hidden costs and returning the car was quick and easy. The car was very clean and in good condition. I highly recommend this company.

When we arrived, a very friendly representative was already waiting for us. They walked us through all the important details in a clear and helpful way, which we really appreciated. The pickup was quick and easy, and returning the car was just as straightforward.

The entire rental experience was seamless from beginning to end. We would definitely choose Anna Cars again on our next trip to Crete.

A search on the forum gave them as a firm to consider. Our experience bore that out.

Although not the cheapest option we chose full insurance.

The car was delivered to our hotel in Chania and we returned it to Heraklion airport. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and they were prepared to take payment in either cash or by card when they delivered the car.

The automatic Toyota Yaris Hybrid drove well with no issues with the hills. Room in the front for two six footers was good. The boot easily took our suitcases and carry on for two. A tank of petrol lasted us the week.

Tip. When returning the car to Heraklion airport head straight through the cars at the car rental opposite for a choice of steps or a ramp to the terminal.

I’ve booked with Anna Cars for two years in a row, and I’ll definitely keep renting cars from them every time I go to Crete. Both times the car met my expectations, it was new and in excellent condition. The booking process on their website is simple, and the communication via email is excellent: they reply promptly and in detail. The second year we chose to have the car delivered to our hotel, and they were perfectly punctual and precise. Considering the quality and condition of the cars, and the extremely attentive service, the prices are very reasonable.

We had a fabulous experience with Anna Cars. They dropped the car off to us on time and explained in detail everything we needed to know and made us feel comfortable and at ease!
On return, we were around 2 hours late returning the car due to a change In flight time and Anna cars were very understanding with our situation. I would highly recommend Anna cars.

Abbiamo noleggiato una macchina a Creta questa estate con Anna Cars e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Dall’accoglienza fino alla fine e contate che avevamo fatto una rigata sulla parte davanti e non ci hanno fatto pagare nessuna penale. Rispetto ad altre agenzie di cui ci parlavano alcuni connazionali che abbiamo conosciuto nel viaggio nettamente meglio! (tra assicurazioni aggiuntive, multe in base a localizzazione gps etc)
Prezzo ottimo, loro gentilissimi sia al ritiro che alla consegna.

Bilen var klar da vi kom, den var i super god stand, kørte godt.
Super let at aflevere bilen igen. Rigtig god oplevelse. Det er ikke sidste gang vi bruger dem.

Unreliable experience
We intended to book a car through Anna Cars and sent them a message to make the reservation. We received an email reply, but it didn’t confirm whether the car was actually reserved or not. Since there was no clear yes or no, we assumed the booking had gone through and that this was simply how their system worked.
However, upon arrival, we found out that no car had been arranged for us, and we were left without the vehicle we thought we had secured. This caused a lot of stress and inconvenience at the beginning of our trip.
Customer service was not helpful and offered no real solution to the situation. Without any warning, we were essentially left without a rental car.
Fortunately, we found another nearby company that was able to assist us quickly. But based on our experience with Anna Cars, I cannot recommend this company – reliability and customer support were seriously lacking.

Quest'anno ho speso un po' di più rispetto a quello che potevo ottenere con Rentalcar.com (Booking.com in pratica) ma volevo stare più tranquillo. Danno infatti assicurazione (quasi) completa Kasko senza assicurare se si va su strade sterrate. Questo un po' mi ha creato noia perché in alcuni casi semplicemente per parcheggiare è impossibile non andare in strade sterrate (ok forse sono troppo maniacale io, in effetti si tratta di 20 m di strada max). La macchina fornita era nuova e dotata di sistemi come Android Auto che sono risultati fondamentai per viaggiare serenamente) Consiglio di prendere macchine un po' altine. In tanti posti dove ho alloggiato vi erano delle rampe ripide e con la mia Hiunday i 20 con la macchina piena a volte andavo a toccare sotto in cima alle rampe) .Quando l'ho riportata non l hanno neppure controllata! Ci siamo salutati e via! ottimo per fare un soggiorno tranquillo a Creta

We booked a rental car through Anna’s while on Crete. Coordinating pick up and drop off via email before our trip was very easy. The car was dropped off to us at our hotel! And we returned it at the chania airport. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

i hhired a car from Annacars from the airport. Joseph met us at the airport, all was ready. The car was fine. What was great was that the costs were all clear up front. none of the extras that other companies spring on you at the desk.
