Been to a few distilleries in the past. This is different. Different as in better. No corporate stuff. More like a “family” feeling. Absolutely 10/10. Grant went way beyond the pale. Oh & the lunch was unbelievable value. Gets top marks from us.

Amazing trip and tour. We came here as a day out on our Honeymoon touring the lakes, Lancashire and Yorkshire.
Our tour guide Zoey was amazing. She was welcoming, friendly, really informative and answered all our questions as well as being a really lovely person.
We got to taste 5 different whiskeys on the tour and they allowed us to taste more in the shop afterwards.
We are very happy with our whiskey purchases too!
The cafe was brilliant, food was fresh and excellent selection. A good selection of gluten free items too if you have a food allergy. A really nice clean environment in their too.
We would definitely go back and recommend the tour and cafe to anyone.

Greeted by our tour guide Adele who was so attentive and bubbly from the beginning. We went straight into tasting our first whisky which was amazing. Once we had an introductory into the history we were lead away to start the tour. Adele was so informative and very good at speaking. Once we had had a tour of the main distillery we were taken to the store room for more history and are second lot of tasting another four whiskies I don’t drink whisky very often but oh my gosh they were amazing. We had a couple of drivers in our party so once the tour was over we were taken over to get the drivers their sample bottles. We can’t recommend Adele enough and if your thinking of taking a tour of a distillery I would put Annandale at the top of your list.

Very interesting explanation of how whisky is made and the history of the distillery.
Dave explained the way the distillery is run and the different types of spirit produced. And lots of tastings of whisky, not generally available to the public.
Finally a mention of the cleanest public restroom in the UK.

We called ahead as we were travelling back home down south and our sat nav had us arriving at 3pm exactly, we were booked on the tour and the tour guide was given a heads up we may be a little late. We got there just in time, and our tour with Jade started promptly after. Jade talked us through the tour and provided many whisky tastings. We felt she had ample knowledge of not only Annandale but also whisky, and plenty of historic knowledge. She was bubbly and friendly, and really made the tour something special to end the honeymoon on. We’d like to say a massive thank you, this was definitely the best tour/distillery we had been to on our honeymoon to Scotland, and we cannot wait to see the distillery grow over the years. Also the whisky is fantastic. :)

Great place, had the opportunity to visit as I was on my travels around Scotland, signs were easy to follow to get there.
When arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome and the distillery tour was very factual and informative, the place was spotless and having learned the unit was brought back to life from nothing but a skeleton. Well
