Annual Travel Insurance

I am happy with the Travel Insurance.

I suggest that automatic renewal should not be applicable by default, and that it should be an option to turn on/off at the time of insurance purchase.

Efficient service

I asked if my travel insurance policy for the previous year had been renewed and if it wasn’t if the could arrange renewing it; waited a couple days for an answer to my email and they said it had been renewed and sent me the relevant documents. Would be nice if it could be sorted a bit quicker but overall I’m happy with the service.

Great price for the coverage

Great price for the coverage I get. I haven't had to deal with any claims yet but I have contacted them about a possible claim and they were very easy to deal with 😀

I have had an excellent experience.
There was a glitch in your system and 2 travel insurance policies were issued and this subsequently enabled your system to apply for 2 payments.
When I brought this to your attention it was resolved by one of your colleagues
Zainab. She was excellent. She said she would phone back to say how she was going to sort it out and she did.

Price jump up from last year

Price jump up from last year. I didn't check for a better price unfortunately but won't make that mistake next year.
Although quick to respond with a call and email I would be happy if the price was a bit closer to last years price.

We tried to contact you by phone but were unable to reach you. As your policy was auto-renewed, we sent a reminder email six weeks before renewal and took payment two weeks prior to give you time to review your options. Since your policy is still within the 14-day cooling-off period, we can offer to cancel your policy and provide a full refund, as long as no claims have been made.

If you’d like to go ahead, please let us know and confirm that there have been no claims. If there’s anything else we can help with, we’re here to support you.

It’s not acceptable to just assume…

It’s not acceptable to just assume customers want to renew twelve months later. Companies should not be allowed to retain credit card details of customers. Be aware because l asked for my credit card not to be save and they went ahead and sent me further cover l didn’t request. Then you have to faff about with your bank and then the Company to get everything

However the keeping of a customer’s card detail’s when you have specifically asked for them not to be!!!
Is not a reasonable excuse, there should be a ban on auto renewal.
Life has got expensive we are all shopping around for the best deal.

Refund has finally been paid…,
