Anyvan helped me to move my grandparents furniture from the UK to Ireland, and I had a positive experience with them. By and large, initially I lost communication because I hadn’t been told that one of their representatives had quit the company or moved areas that he was working in or something, and I wasn’t notified as such, so my emails were reaching a dead end. but overall the experience has been positive and they did take great care to make sure everything was correct.

Be careful when booking this service if you live in London. If you have no - or limited parking in the street you currently live and be prepared to be on-hold with the company while the driver does nothing and to take off without warning even if you find a spot within the timeframe for collection. Wouldn't trust this service again, particularly if you are moving to another city.

If you need a man and a van (or two men and a van) this is the place to come to. I arranged everyhing from the UK where I also use the service. Good, efficient, friendly and competitive. To be highly recommended.

Andre did an excellent job, moving my disabled niece. It turned out she hadn’t done as much de- cluttering as she promised, so I was charged for extra items, which is fair enough.

Please avoid this company. I feel totally scammed by the whole experience. Paid for the premium packing service and the transporters not only turned up late, but arrived with no packing materials. They were unprofessional and refused to leave our property unless we paid them an additional fee directly. They left items in the house and did not treat anything with care. Mattresses were being dragged on the floor outside and put into a dirty van unwrapped. This is only to name a few issues, the list goes on. Anyvan were completely useless and basically told me that they couldn’t take our word for it as the transporters said none of my points raised happened (of course they would)
Don’t make the same mistake as me and AVOID this company

The whole process was very straightforward and good to get several quotes and options and Charlie was helpful explaining how it all worked. The van driver (Robert) was also very efficient and helpful. I've used this company in the UK in the past and it all went smoothly there too. Many thanks!

Extremely disappointing experience with AnyVan in June 2026. During my move, damage was caused to both my furniture and the property, including a torn chair, damage to the front door and frame, and damage to the seal around the door.

What has been particularly frustrating, however, is the claims process that followed. I have had to repeatedly chase for responses, obtain additional reports and quotations, contact third parties on AnyVan’s request, and respond to changing requirements as the claim progressed.

I had specifically paid for additional cover when booking the move because I wanted protection in the event that something went wrong. Given what subsequently happened, I am very glad that I did. The experience has nevertheless left me seriously concerned about what position I might have been in without that additional protection, given the difficulty I have experienced trying to obtain appropriate compensation even with it in place.

Despite providing extensive evidence and cooperating throughout, the process has been slow, burdensome and unnecessarily difficult. The position taken on the property damage has also changed during the course of the claim, which has added further frustration.

A damage claim following a professional removals service should not require this level of persistence from the customer. Based on my experience of both the move and the subsequent claims handling, I would not use AnyVan again.

It took a little while to get bids, but I got there in the end and everything was completed timely!

My workplace booked this company for a move from Italy to Ireland. Once the deposit was paid, Anyvan was reluctant to manage anything. I had a stressful runaround on the telephone always ending up with a singularly unpleasant chatbot. My order from Anyvan said a two man service and they refused to honor this despite it being clearly stated in the offer. We were compelled to pay more money for men to load and again to off load. Nonetheless the driver arrived Wednesday with no one to help him. The driver was excellent; my sister and I helped him to the best of our ability. Given the cost paid, such negligence on the part of Anyvan is unconscionable: leaving a driver to drive , offload alone, and then sending him on to load again! Trust is a major issue and I would certainly advise looking elsewhere for a professional and ethical service. The two stars above are for the driver not the company.
I am shocked to read in the response gratitude that my sister and I - I have just taken the pension!!!!- are thanked for doing the work we paid Anyvan to do. This response reads like more ai generated detached communication!

Bertrand did a recent delivery and did an excellent job. Kept in regular contact with me throughout the process, was very courteous and easy to work with.
Would highly recommend.

Robert was very professional. He delivered furniture to our holiday home in a remote area in a timely manner with no issues at all.

Excellent service received, the communication was great and was connected to a courier without hustle. The courier also did a fantastic job to complete the delivery.

I would give zero stars if I could.
Really disappointing experience with AnyVan, especially as I had used them before and had always had a good service.
I paid over £300 for my move and selected the one-mover option, which was advertised as “Happy to help”. I was moving by myself and had no one else there to assist me, so naturally I booked the service expecting the mover I was paying for to actually help with the loading and unloading. Instead, I was left carrying bags and belongings completely by myself and actually hurt myself in the process, I was carrying a bag and asked for help and said "I'm sorry this is quite heavy can you help me" and the driver didn't even move. If I had known I would essentially be doing the move alone, I would never have booked this service.
In previous bookings I had also been able to travel in the van, so I was surprised to find out on the day that this wasn’t possible and had to pay for an Uber between the two addresses on top of everything else.
What made the experience even worse was the customer service afterwards. I contacted AnyVan explaining everything that had happened, and instead of properly addressing the issues, they offered me £20 credit towards another booking. Considering I had paid over £300 and had absolutely no intention of using the service again, this felt completely inadequate and dismissive.
The customer service was honestly just as disappointing as the service I received on moving day. The whole experience was incredibly frustrating, and I would absolutely not use AnyVan again or recommend them.

The overall service, the collection, the delivery, the helpfulness of the driver ... everything

Got the quote for almost half the price as compared to other independent moving companies and couldn't be more satisfied with the overall experience

We booked a door-to-door international move through AnyVan from Barcelona to Ireland. The transport provider confirmed our inventory would fit, including after we sent photos of the larger items.

On collection day, the van was too small and a significant amount of our belongings was left behind. We were told someone would collect them, which eventually happened - but then our belongings effectively disappeared into a black hole for weeks. Calls and messages went unanswered, leaving us with no idea when we would actually receive our possessions.

After repeatedly chasing both the provider and AnyVan, we were eventually given a delivery date. Then, right before delivery, the provider claimed there was "more stuff than agreed" and demanded another €1,000 to get the remaining belongings delivered. We disputed this because the full inventory had been submitted through AnyVan and nothing had been added. We ultimately paid €600 extra because we had no practical choice if we wanted our belongings back.

The belongings did eventually arrive, but what was supposed to be a straightforward door-to-door move turned into a two-month ordeal involving a failed collection, weeks of silence, additional storage costs and an unexpected payment demanded before our belongings would be released.

This was already a hugely stressful and emotional international move with two young children. AnyVan and its provider made an incredibly difficult situation so much worse.

What is particularly disappointing is AnyVan's response. Despite us providing evidence and making a formal complaint, they relied on their terms and conditions to distance themselves from the provider and offered the "deposit" we paid only as credit towards another AnyVan booking.

Needless to say, we have absolutely no intention of ever using this company again.

If you're considering AnyVan for a move, I would strongly recommend understanding exactly what responsibility AnyVan accepts when something goes wrong -because based on our experience, you may find yourself very much on your own.

We certainly won't be using them again.

Just a quick update to my review as of 26th August 2026 - I have not heard anything at all from AnyVan's Service Quality team - nobody has reached out to me regarding this issue and I have no further communication with AnyVan as per the formal complaint I raised with them directly. They are con-artists and their response below is simply an effort to appear otherwise.
