Seamless, professional and perfect!
Our entire experience from the initial inquiry to the final stop was seamless and enjoyable. Braunny, our trip designer, listened to our needs and made recommendations that fit our interests and budget. He was professional and responsive both leading up and while we were travelling.
We never would have had the trip we had if it wasn’t for taking a chance with Anywhere.com. It is the first time I have booked with a service like this and we wouldn’t change a thing. 1000% recommend!

Above and Beyond
This was our family's first visit to Costa Rica. The team at Anywhere’s planning provided a seamless experience that connected us to the most wonderful people, independent tour guides, tours, hotels, transportation services, who, all along the way, were happy to share their knowledge of Costa Rica with us, turning regular vacation-type things into above and beyond experiences. This provided a depth of experience that would not have otherwise been possible.

Attentive, Professional and Supportive
Our travel agent, Gema, took great care to understand our needs, our expectations and budget. Based on that and her own deep knowledge of Costa Rica, she came up with an excellent itinerary that created a fantastic trip for us.
During the entire time, her and the company's responses were fast, timely and useful. We ran into a minor snag during our time there and they immediately worked to get a resolution that would work for all of us.
Strongly recommend them to help plan your next vacation.

Excellent trip, great resort stays and activities
Excellent trip planning and execution. All the resorts that we stayed in, and all the activities and excursions were top notch. Our trip planner Harold Montero and team were always accessible and available to respond to questions throughout the trip, even dynamically making feasible changes to our schedule upon request. When we opted out of certain activities we were promptly issued a refund.

Nothing short of magical - Pura Vida!
Our family experience in Costa Rica with Anywhere was spectacular! Vicente created an itinerary that was perfect for our travel needs and wish list (including entertaining two high energy boys that wanted to do all the ziplining, rappeling, surfing, hiking, rafting... yet relax in Costa Rica's scenic landscape and see animals). All the hotels and excursions recommended by Anywhere were high quality with excellent guides. The multiple transfers were seamless and exactly as detailed. Vincente's communication was quick, professional, and enthusiastic. Moreover, he continued communication throughout the trip so even with little planning on my part, I felt really in tune with the schedule/plan for the day. Hands down, one of our family's favourite vacations!

I’m especially grateful you highlighted how well the trip balanced high-energy adventure with time to slow down and take in Costa Rica’s natural beauty.
Staying connected throughout the trip and making everything feel seamless, even when you want to plan less and experience more, is at the heart of what we aim to do.
Thank you for trusting Anywhere with your family vacation. Knowing this is one of your family’s favorite trips means a great deal to all of us. We’d love to help you create the next adventure to a new country whenever you’re ready.

Great time at Costa Rica
I was on timecrunch as this was last minute vacation plan and talking to my friend my best bet was to go with Anywhere.com. So i connected with Anwhere.com costa rica local expert Braunny who was fantastic and very responsive. He worked with me tirelessly and created a very good plan finishing the hotel bookings first, followed by transportation and activities in Monteverde, Manuel Antonio. In summary we had a great time thanks to Braunny. The only leg we did not like was San Jose [ 1 day]. As expected of cities it was not clean and we did not feel safe while staying close to central market area [lot of homeless people].
If i had to redesign, i would have stayed 1 more day at Arenal. The only other feedback is activities are very expensive.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed and honest review.
I’m really glad to hear that Braunny was able to step in quickly and support you on a last-minute trip. Time-crunched planning is where strong local expertise matters most, and it’s great to know he was responsive, thorough, and helped bring everything together smoothly across Monteverde and Manuel Antonio. I’ll be sure to pass along your appreciation to him.
I also appreciate your candid feedback about San José. You’re absolutely right that for many travelers, especially on shorter trips, the city is best used as a gateway rather than a destination. Your note about preferring an extra night in Arenal is a helpful insight and one we often recommend when travelers want more nature and less urban time.
Regarding activity costs, Costa Rica does come at a premium due to conservation efforts, licensed guides, and safety standards, but your feedback is valuable and helps us continue to set clear expectations and offer the best value possible.
Thank you again for trusting Anywhere with your trip. We’d love the opportunity to help refine a future itinerary to Costa Rica or a new destination so it aligns even more closely with how you want to spend your time.

Gema is outstanding
Gema is outstanding. She has done two trips across CR and each has been outstanding. We've stayed in luxury hotels in giant room room and fine restararaunt, jungle lodges, a vintage country hotel that even had farm animals (but only outside of sleeping hours). The guides and transports were superior, Gema is very kind and trusted completely. She has a vast knowledge and a network that has made our CR travels outstanding. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
