Delivery took 6 weeks
Delivery took 6 weeks - unfortunately missed a large chunk of growing season. Disappointing and will likely not get a hop harvest this year

We propagate our plants every year at the beginning of April - the earliest we are able to do it, and they require until the end of May in out greenhouse to establish a root structure capable of staying alive in their 2 litre pots. We are sorry you are disappointed, but I assure you there was no quicker way we would be able to get you a plant and guarantee it survives any quicker.
We do sell bare root plants in the winter, which would have been a better fit for your requirements.
There is still a long growing time for the hop plants and we usually do expect small harvest off the 2 litre plants in their first year - provided they are well looked after.

In an effort to reduce our paper usage we no longer provide printed planting instructions, as instead they are on our website - but you are right, some instructions saying so would be good and it is something we are looking into.

Very efficient service. Hops were dispatched quickly even though it was a bank holiday and arrived in very good condition ready for planting.
Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Royal Mail whose Tracked 24 service took 3 days to arrive and who sent me an email saying it was going to arrive a day before it did.

Fantastic service
I’m very impressed with A Plus Hops. I ordered two rhizomes and both are growing well, so I’m really happy with them. They’re mainly for my garden, but I chose specific varieties to try making tea and possibly beer in the future—mostly for fun, and to grow over a couple of arches.
The website was very easy to navigate and purchase from, delivery was fast (within 48 hours), and I was able to get them planted straight away. Highly recommended.
