Uninformed Techs

We aren't sure exactly what we're paying for. Techs don't know. One tech says one thing the next tech says completely opposite. The guy who signed us up told us another completely different story. No one seems to know exactly what service we have.

Empty promises, ok Aptive sent a response thru Trustpilot. The response was to contact them thru a specific address. I attempted to do so and it did not take me to them!

This was the third application. This is the third time I have been told someone would contact me and bring me the traps that were part of the contract. No one has contacted or provided them.

Also on this third application they did not do all that I signed up for. I am very disappointed with their empty promises.

Ok, I got a phone call and a repeat application on Oct. 1 and all my issues have been resolved.

What do they do at each appt??

The person who came did not ask if there were any problems like they usually do. Maybe it is because I rescheduled online and put nothing in the comments. I really feel like for the money we pay per visit that the person coming out does very little. They walk around the house and outside of the garage and get cobwebs and spray but nothing else with the rest of the yard or inside the garage where we do have spiders. Always very friendly staff though and when we do have questions they always listen and answer them And address any issues is we do have any

The only reason for the 5 stars is the…

The only reason for the 5 stars is the person that comes & does the service is great. However, the office is terrible. Have only had them 3 months and can never get here when they make appointment. Seems it always has to be rescheduled. Sometimes more then 2 times. I have never worked with a company as bad as this. Cannot wait till my year is over with them. Wish I had never went with them.

Service call not completed

This was supposed to be a free one time service. The technician texted to say they were on their way. I was at work and in a day long meeting so I could not answer the text. I saw on my ring camera that the technician banged on my door twice, waited maybe two minutes then drive away without servicing me. I had Aptiv for a year prior to cancelling, at no point did I ever need to be home for service. Also the technician never texted back to tell me they cancelled the call.

They do what I ask. Where I see pests. Really surprised they don't have something for grub control, seems like that should be included if needed.

Live up to your CONTRACT!!!

The overall performance of your company excluding your technicians is very poor. I've had problems over 16 months with repeated no shows & shows when not on schedule . I've lost thousands of dollars waiting 4 days for a visit, a long with over 20 hrs on the phone. I was just trying to get the service I PAID FOR!!!

Herb was the most helpful and attentive…

Herb was the most helpful and attentive to my needs. This is the first time since I've worked with Aptive that this has happened. He called me about saving money and he shared opportunities and what was happening with my house.

No one available to talk to

No one available to talk to in the Grand Rapids Office or anywhere in the United States. No wonder the person at my door had no business cards to hand out . Not happy with service not as promised at all.

The treatment of my yard

The gentleman that did our yard. Did not do the whole yard. We say him walk just the outskirts of our property. He didn't do the whole yard. When I contacted him, he said he did. He was very rude with the conversation that we texted back and forth.

They show up rain or shine

I’m on an every two months visit. I haven’t seen the same person twice but they are timely, And tend to reduce the bugs that show up especially in late summer and fall. They will contact me for any new issues .

Face-to-face is Best

As I wasn't home at the time the service was performed, I can't assess the specific individual who performed the treatment. The last-minute cancellation of the original appointment and the rescheduling was irksome but handled. My primary concern was the pictures that inevitably focus on treating the shed instead to the house. I don't live in the shed and it is not a source of concern.
