Excellent monthly service!

Did not uphold contract as agreed

We had spoken to a representative and modified our contract with confirmation via email where Aptive had agreed to a quarterly service. At some point they decided without informing us or giving us a modification, to start servicing our property every 4 weeks and billing us as such. When I contacted them for resolution as to why things changed, they said that it was just the way they did things. This was not only frustrating, but costing us triple what we had agreed to with a quarterly service. It was only after we canceled our service that they tried to work it out with us. While the service people were fine, the administration of contracts ruined this experience.

I can understand how frustrating it must have been to agree to quarterly service, receive confirmation, and then later see your home being serviced every four weeks with the associated charges. A change like that without clear communication would understandably feel upsetting, especially when it significantly impacted your costs.

At Aptive, any adjustments to service frequency or billing should be clearly communicated and agreed upon. Being told “that’s just the way we do things” does not reflect the level of transparency we aim to provide.

We truly appreciate you acknowledging our service professionals, and it is disappointing that the administrative side of your experience overshadowed that. We would welcome the opportunity to review your account and original agreement details. Very grateful for our tech last week.

They have always done a great job but last weeks service was above that. Our tech found a water leak and notified us immediately.
We thought it was coming from a roof leak but a drain pipe on the bathroom sinks had broken so every time we used them it looked like Snoqualmie Falls outside.
I know we wouldn't have seen it for a while since under the sinks were dry.
Having him notify us saved a ton of $$.

They are very faithful in contacting us prior to visits & day of visits.
We haven’t seen Any spiders in our home since these guys have cared for our home & property!

For my latest appointment, like all my Aptive appointments, the communication was stellar. Advance reminders, texts to let me know when the pest control tech would arrive, if I have any special concerns to be addressed, follow up texts with photos. Aptive techs are always polite and have been respectful of my property. My cats have had no issues from the products used.

Another experience I was happy with, technician was very forthcoming and called proir to arrival in order to inform us he was on his way. Accomplished his task and sent pictures to show us just what he had done.

Unreliable and overpriced

I wish we hadn't signed up for this company. We don't agree with the monthly fee when they're only here every other month (when they actually show up), we don't agree with the cancelation fee and we don't agree we should pay when they don't show up. Calling their office gets you nowhere. I called with an emergency last October and the lady I talked to couldnt even tell me the name of the pesticide they used, which I needed for poison control. The lady wrote an email to the higher ups and said they'd get back to me. A day later, I heard back. They're lucky I figured it out and it wasn't a more serious situation. They've cancelled on us, I think 3 times just this month but I've honestly lost count. We have to take days off work to be home the days they come out to make sure our cats are inside. So we've missed out on work just for them not to show up. No explanation given. Don't recommend and I can't wait till our contract is up. Never again.
