i am a 79 year old who cannot bath without my aqualift
i now have 2 batteries,neither of which work.
on contacting aqualift,i was told a new battery would cost me £134 which i just cannot afford.
i mentioned to the employer who dealt with my call that i
had a 3 year warranty,and i had only been with the company for 2 years.the man said that does not include batteries ( WHICH WAS CONVENIENT FOR THEM ). i gave a 1 star review because i couldnt give 0.
scandulous way to treat old age penioners.,AVOID

The installers arrived on time, were very efficient installing the Aqualift. Demonstated how to use it and were very clear on how to use and keep the batteries charged. Took all the packaging away. Customer Number SWQ06288.

Had ours fitted today by Yonut who was very friendly an courteous and explained and demonstrated how to use it and left everything clean and tidy. order /no.355WQ06291

Bathlift fitted on 9December to help mobility issues ,
Fitted in less than 2 hours , installers Ian & Alex were quick efficient and cleared up any mess before leaving,fully explained operation of bathlift ,so far the equipment has fully lived up to my expectation

Garbage technology. " Auqualift self clean" does NOT provide self clean, period. Absolutely false marketing/advertising!

The lift works well, however, some minor alterations to the design would improve it, e.g. the side seat needs to be hinged so it can be dropped down when not in use,allowing more room to move about in a small bathroom, also the cover for use when having a shower is not easy to fit, something permanent attached to the motor that can be rolled up and down when required would be ideal.

They were on time efficient demonstrated very well cleaned up after themselves. Very pleasant and trustworthy. Martin and Stuart were exceptional.

The salesman started out really well, but was a bit in your face. He then started going on about a previous quote we had had from a different company saying it was in fact the same company but under a different name, almost implying that we were wasting this time. There’s no way I could’ve known this. He then proceeded to do a very good demonstration, but at the end when I said we needed to think about the price, he got very aggressive in fact quite scary. I now worry that he knows where I live, he seemed a very angry person. Not a good experience at all.

Not a good company to deal with - AquaLift came to fit a bathlift twice - first time fitter drilled into floor, which also included drilling into an underground water pipe - water everywhere. Second time - fitted different lift which turned out to be faulty. Aqualift charged me for picking up their faulty BathLift!. Be careful they do not like paying compensation. Had to get citizens advice bureau to help me. Bathroom carpet, bathroom wall tiles and wallpaper ruined. After a lot of hassle, they replaced the carpet reiterating that it was in full and final settlement!, What about the ruined tiles and wallpaper. I especially remarked about the bathroom tiles and having them replaced - customer services replied - the manager said they would not compensate for the tiles because they weren’t damaged by the water leak - no you dumbo - they were damaged by the fitter drilling holes into the bathroom tiles - nothing to do with the water. That went on deaf ears.! Any decent company would go out of their way to make things right for the customer. Incidentally, no apology!!! Finalised at the end of February 2025. Really bad time with Aqualift - not helpful - argue over everything - will never buy from them again - or Willowbrook.

After paying£2800 they come to fit the lift. After fitting I found out the lift and control are not waterproof.I complained about this and they replied they cannot make it waterproof. How stupid is that it's a bath lift. This is not stated in the advertising nor did the rep say anything about this. It was the engineer who fitted it that told me. Not a happy customer very poor customer service

We inherited a bathlift with the house. It became jammed so I contacted Aqualift for a repair. Initially the company were quite helpful by offering a potential d.i.y. fix. That did not work. I have since contacted them 3 times over 3 weeks. They refused to offer a date for repair, when I showed my impatience they offered a date which I couldn’t agree to owing to a hospital appointment. The result was a refusal to offer me another date. I have since found another company who are charging half the call-out fee and have given me an appointment for repair two working days away.

smelly rep bulied us into this purchase stating NO Money was required at the point of sale then demanded £425 deposit. Even more repulsive people came to fit the lift then demanded the full payment prior to starting to fit the lift, not even trying the lift out to see if it was fitted correctly. We declined to pay before so the lift was never fitted. When buying fuel at a petrol station one fills up then pays. when shopping one gets the goods then pays not these bullies then demanded payment before starting. I asked the to leave

Please be aware that this company massively overcharge for Acqualift spare parts eg battery, charger.
These are available on line from alternative suppliers at far lower prices.
Also beware enquiring about replacement Acqualift cushion as they will claim these are not available and you need to order a complete new Aqualift. So much for helping the aged!!

My Grandmother needed help lowering herself down into the bath (after having a stroke she was finding it difficult to hold her weight and was worried about falling). We had a demonstration which was helpful as she was able to try it before just buying. Would definitely recommend

In September 2021 I had an Aqualift installed. This has not been a good experience.
When the bath lift worked it was fine. However, during its lifetime I have had to purchase a new battery because the first one rapidly ran out of steam.
The worse problem has been that floor fixing was unfit for purpose. I am looking at a fixing which rusted away. I couldn’t recommend an Aqualift for a long term solution to bathing issues.

Just bought and had the Bathlift fitted in my parents house bathroom.
From having a house demonstration to fixing I would definitely recommend this product and company.

Now been using Aqualift (de luxe version) for a number of weeks. All is fine except for the sliding white plastic cushion that fits on the belt. This measures 32cm between the velcro strips while the belt itself is 28cm wide. Therefore the cushion can move backwards and forwards
