Ardent Training Reviews

The live chat is the best, the response time couldn't be better, they answered all my questions with clear, thorough, and precise explanations.

The content is very clearly explained, even the intense topics, everything is broken down to smaller bits and pieces, making it easy to go through.

The knowledge checks and module assessments were super helpful.

The instructors are all very nice. To me, they didn't seem to be the most comfortable people in front of a camera, I think thats very relatable and super awesome.

When i was looking for my Day Skipper course, i think Ardent was the priciest option, but no regrets, very worth it.

I really appreciated the format. The instructors were competent and engaging even in this asynchronous mode. I would recommend this course without a doubt.

Just completed my Day Skipper theory course and hugely impressed with my experience - great course resources and a super friendly and responsive team. 10/10 for everything. Highly recommend and I will use again for future training. Thank you.

Outstanding program. Online courses can be completed as quickly or as slowly as you like. So engaging and personable with videos, zoom calls and real time chat. I feel like I know these excellent tutors, even though we’ve never met! UK based team with learners from all around the globe. Highly recommend.

Fantastic online course, service, teaching, availability, follow-up!
Spotless, excellent!

Excellent use of video lessons, amazing resources and knowledge checks and module assessments. They care about all their students and make sure you’re prepared to safely manage your boat at sea. Online format lets you review lessons as much as necessary to increase your comprehension for the RYA exams.

I completed the Day Skipper course and passed my exam.
It was a very positive experience.
The course was really well structured and presented, with video and text versions, informal knowledge tests and longer module tests to keep track of progress.
I appreciated the bank of useful resources, in both, document and video format.
The team came across as highly knowledgeable, friendly and very supportive. I was amazed by the speed of response to any queries and when offering feedback.
Highly recommended!

Brilliant curriculum design presenting each module and subsections in both video and text options making it really easy for both learning and revising. Demonstrations, examples, practice exercises and knowledge checks with immediate feedback make learning easy and memorable. The module assessments built confidence going through the course.

The videos of the very friendly and energetic instructors teaching on the boat really helped create a personal connection. The instructors have incredible experience and are very encouraging, supportive, and responsive with immediate feedback for any questions in live chats, discussions and email making online learning really engaging and supportive.

I've done RYA Day Skipper before and now RYA Yachtmaster theory course with Ardent training.
The course is great, the topics very well explained.
After this I had no problem with passing an exam.

The support from whole Ardent team is excellent, they respond within a minutes and are available for any query.

Keep up with the good work, Ardent team!

Excellent course content that can be presented in different formats. Good to have regular quiz sections to check knowledge. Great support throughout the course with excellent additional resources.

The online course is very well laid out, easy to use. Lots of resources provided, everything worked smoothly. The instructors were very helpful and knowledgable

Excellent course, I would highly recommend it. The tutors are super helpful and very quick to respond. The online platform is effective and easy to use

Absolutely brilliant team! Learned more than I imagined. I have now passed my Day Skipper Practical. Highly recommend Ardent Training.

Great team, amazing level of knowledge - content was presented in a relaxed style that promoted positive learning - also made it fun which was great. Thanks Ardent team

Great course, well explained. Instructors easily accessible and responsive (and very patient). Wouldn’t go anywhere else for sailing courses.

As a relatively new boater, I was keen to understand what I was getting into from a theoretical perspective. The Ardent training Yachtmaster Coastal and Offshore course is brilliantly put together. The videos, that go alongside the RYA slides really help explain the concepts. The instructor interaction and feedback was incredibly helpful, and highlighted areas to concentrate on, and the speed of response was first class.
There are also significant resources and hours of video content that help with the course and realistically I will still be using in years to come.
I wish I had found Ardent Training earlier in my theoretical RYA courses, as if I had done my Essential Navigation and Day Skipper with them, I believe it would have been to my benefit.

Just finished my Day Skipper Theory with Ardent Training and couldn't be happier! The course itself is comprehensive and well-structured, using engaging videos and clear explanations that make the tough topics easy to understand. Thoroughly enjoy the course. Plus, the support team is amazing—they are incredibly professional, supportive, and provide feedbacks almost instantly. Highly recommend!

Fantastic course can be done in your own time. Instructors are easy to contact and will be in touch if they see you are struggling with anything. Highly recommended.

I just passed my Yachtmaster theory exam with Ardent Training and can't recommend them highly enough. The course materials are excellent — every topic is covered in real depth, with practical tips that complement the theory nicely. The presenters are genuinely competent and clearly know their subject. Best of all, they're incredibly friendly and responsive online: ask a question and you'll usually have an answer within minutes. A really excellent experience all round.
