Work wasn’t completed properly with attention to detail

Poor workmanship. In one year another contractor found 3 major leaks that cost me $2300 to fix after paying ARS $16k to install the Rheem system last year. Find a Rheem dealer do not deal with ARS. I called them to fix but they were not interested in showing up, they only want to work on emergencies not to service their customers that make an investment.

My air conditioner lasted less than 3 years. I was charged $9200 for the AC and HVAC and was told how great a product I was buying. They are now unavailable to come out. My family and dog are burning up as it is 82 degrees in my house. They are liars and crooks.

I had a problem with my system and they recommended replacement. The system has failed 3 times since they installed it and I have been trying to get a service manager to respond with an action plan for 6 days so far.

This company installed a Carrier HVAC unit for me at a cost of $10,000. It took them an entire year to complete the installation because they could not figure out the heating portion. They ultimately had to subcontract another company to finish the job, leaving me without heat for most of the winter.

Four years later, the unit failed. When I contacted them for service, the technician they sent quoted a repair cost between $1,500–$1,800 and demanded that I pay one‑third of the cost upfront. I requested an invoice, which the company refused to provide. Because I was desperate, I paid $580, and then heard nothing back for weeks.

I eventually contacted the manufacturer directly and learned that the HVAC system is under warranty, meaning all parts are free. I was also informed that ARS is not one of their certified distributors. I then hired a certified distributor from the manufacturer’s list, who quickly identified and resolved the issue.

I requested a refund of the $580 five weeks ago and still have not received it.

George was the plumbing advisor who came the same day we called. He was friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. Together we found a repair package that worked for us. They use a phone QA system, to make sure all of us know what to expect & how much it will cost. That was very helpful. The very next day, Alex, & his helper, Kevin, replaced the water heater & expansion tank. They were professional & kept us in the loop the whole way through. Alex really went the extra mile to ensure the work was done properly. We are very satisfied with ARS. We hope you will be as well. Thanks, guys!
