I would absolutely recommend this company...
I wanted something for my cottage style kitchen. I was looking for a sign/quote to put on the wall. I looked at the reviews for reassurance this was a reliable company and the quality is as good as expected for the price. And it is worth every penny. The communication was very quick. And I recieved my order within the time I was told. Brilliant company.

We ordered a Westminster chiming clock. It is a lovely clock for a special anniversary. The customer service was excellant. The clock was well wrapped and packed with padding and was secure. We received it the next day as it said on the site.

Some broken pieces of wicker on the basket. Not the quality I hoped for

I ordered three extra small baskets to fit into the heuga ikea tv cabinet. They fit perfectly. However the finish on the bottom of the baskets is of an extremely low quality. I appreciate they are hand made with wicker however sharp ends stick out from the bottom of the basket meaning they not only don’t lay completely flat but also that whatever they are sat on will be scratched and damaged when moving them in and out of their slot. Very disappointed with the finish meaning the baskets are unusable for the purpose I bought them for. Expensive piece of furniture that I can only look at and not use. Customer service state that the finish is due to being hand made but I feel the ends could be finished off in a better less sharp way which would avoid damage to the surfaces they are stood on.

Bought lovely sheepskin rug and really impressed with the quality and price. Just a few miles up the road so pleased to be supporting local business. We will be back!

The cushion cover I ordered was out of stock but staff emailed to offer me options and I was pleased to receive an alternative choice. Good quality cushion cover, looks exactly as advertised. Good communication from the team, in a world full of bots it was nice to know there are still some companies with real people who can help.

My order (a wicker trunk) arrived quickly, just a couple of days after ordering, in a cardboard box with no unnecessary packaging. It was exactly as described and looks great, I’m very happy with it.

I’m genuinely shocked by my recent dealings with Arthur Cameron.

I was encouraged to contact James after speaking with Tabs in the office, when James was away on holiday. I subsequently took the time to write a detailed email (as requested) explaining our project and why we felt there could be a genuinely worthwhile opportunity for a collaboration. We were not simply asking for something from the company—we were genuinely interested in purchasing a substantial number of their products for our home and, because we felt an affinity with the company and its approach, had offered our home as a potential setting for a collaboration if it was of interest to them.

I was then asked to follow up by telephone.. Which I did... . What happened next was frankly astonishing.

I was spoken to today in an extremely dismissive and condescending manner. I was refused the opportunity to speak to James and, when I asked whether my email had even been read, I was told that they would rather I didn’t resend it to their inbox.

I came away from the conversation feeling genuinely belittled and when I mentioned proudly our historic home and efforts had even been featured on Channel 4, the tone became further dismissive and I'd go so far as to say "degrading". There is absolutely no obligation for a company to pursue a collaboration or even to do business with a potential customer—but there is a basic expectation of courtesy and respect, particularly when that person has approached you positively, expressed genuine enthusiasm for your company and potentially represents a significant customer.

What makes this particularly disappointing is that we genuinely wanted to buy from Arthur Cameron. We approached them because we liked their products and thought there might be a natural fit between what they do and our project. Instead, the experience has completely changed my view of the company.

A particularly disappointing experience from a company that describes itself as a small business with a small team. I would have expected considerably more warmth, professionalism and basic courtesy.

One star, solely because zero isn’t an option.
