If you are looking curated travel, Art In Voyage is a great provider. They get to know you and treat you like family. Mikael knows the best restaurants and the best hotels. Our Villa in Tuscany was everything we expected. The local tour guides in Sienna, Florence, Milan, and Venice were very knowledgeable and tailored their spiel to us. 5 Stars!!

We recently returned from our “South Africa at a Glance” journey with AIV. It truly was a trip of a lifetime - one that we’ve been planning with AIV since 2020. The AIV team really worked with us to make this trip a reality as soon as we could safely travel post-pandemic. Our guides in South Africa were experts in their fields- special shout out to “The Wine Fairy”! All the wineries, tastings and restaurants chosen for us were superb. South Africa is a beautiful place and the name of this journey “At a Glance” means we hit the highlights and hope to return one day with AIV and experience South Africa in depth. We also added the Victoria Falls extension and it was amazing! All transfers in Africa were taken care of for us by AIV. We definitely recommend adding the extension.

The ArtInVoyage team planned and flawlessly executed a spectacular, 26th Anniversary getaway for us - two, glorious weeks in Sardinia. Not only was every little detail attended to with great care - including the provision of a detailed itinerary that took us to special places as we traveled from north to south, but the team there, literally on duty 24/7 to troubleshoot, was able to jump in to smooth out a small late-night issue we encountered, ensuring a quick and seamless resolution. These people are THE travel pros. We've been clients since the late 1990's, and Mikael and his team have never missed beat on the 8 major trips we've planned with them. If you're traveling, travel with ArtInVoyage. We do!

Mikael and the entire team at Art In Voyage always deliver 100% this is our 5th trip of hopefully many more in the future. We feel that having our trips professionally curated really helps us to just sit back and enjoy our vacations without all of the planing headaches that come with international travel. Art in Voyage created a personal journey for us that far exceeded any expectation(s) we had. Our sailing on the Adriatic on the Salve Di Mare yacht was spectacular in every way. The ship, the other guests, the food, and the sights were a 12 out of 10! AIV arranged the cruise, our airport and port transfers and our hotel in Split the night before our sailing. Because our original plans fell through AIV also went above and beyond in procuring us this alternative (and private) journey as well as making (and paying) our flight reservation changes. We could not have asked for a more perfect vacation, and experience before and during our trip.

I was very happy with my experience with Art In Voyage! They were very helpful in all areas of my trip to Paris and Amsterdam. They were responsive and gave great recommendations for restaurants, and things to do. Thank you so much for helping to make my trip fabulous!

Our Capetown experience was exquisite as a result of the excellent planning by AIV. Our accommodations at the Angala Boutique hotel were lovely. Breakfast each morning was delicious. All staff at this property were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable and roomy.

The highlight was our guide Katie the Wine Fairy. We cannot say enough good things about her. Smart, informative, fun, brilliant wine knowledge. Many of the wineries we visited deferred to her knowledge even about their own wines and winery!

This is our fourth trip with AIV and we cannot say enough good things about all of our experiences.

I couldn’t end this review without acknowledging our wonderful driver Sasa! He got us safely from one winery to the next! Was friendly and shared some personal information about himself and his family, which we appreciated. Once Katie left us, he took over her narration duties and pointed out Cape Town landmarks to us!

What a fabulous trip AIV planned for us! The accommodations were excellent. What made it all the more interesting and fun was Katie and her knowledge of all the wines of the Cape. We're looking forward to planning our next trip with AIV!

Once again AIV provided a wonderful home away from home, this time in Provence. My expectations were high after Tuscany and I was delighted with the accommodations, activities and experiences. I look forward to my next adventure with AIV.

Trip of a lifetime on an African Safari in May 2022. Mikael and staff were amazing! Our trip was delayed by 2 years, but AIV was patient, kind and incredibly accommodating making sure our dream trip was perfect. They take care of everything, honestly. Looking forward to our next adventure with AIV!

We had a great time in Provence with Mikael & Kevin at Bastide de Rose. The house was absolutely fantastic. We ate too much food and drank too much wine! Can't imagine a much better time.

This was my first trip with Art in Voyage, it was a wonderful experience. Mikael and Kevin were excellent hosts, they always strove to make us comfortable and ensure we were well looked after. Because of covid delays (postponed from 2020) some of the excursions had to be modified, I felt any adjustments were very well done and we didn't 'miss out' on anything we had planned. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

My sister and I have been lucky enough to experience two amazing trips, Tuscany and Provence. If your dream is to experience a new culture along with culinary delights paired with wine tasting of the region, then this is the trip for you ! And to insure your overall over the top experience, this trip must include both Mikael and Kevin !!!

Our recent trip to South Africa exceeded our expectations. Mikael attended to every detail and was quick to respond to any questions. Our hosts, Kevin and Katie made every day fun, not to mention the delicious meals prepared by Kevin and wine specially chosen by Katie. I look forward to our next trip with AIV.

Mikael and his crew designed a custom trip to several regions in Italy for us and it went off without a hitch. AIV is one of the best travel companies I have ever worked with and they work tirelessly to handle all aspects of your travel. I will continue to use them for all of my international ventures.

Our trip to Maine with Art in Voyage was delightful! Our guide Kevin took us to a variety of places from a lighthouse to an excellent farm to table restaurant to a blueberry farm at which gin is made. We ate fresh oysters and lobster, made ravioli, and drank fine wines. Our accommodations were fabulous! In summary, AIV ensures that guests have a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I really enjoyed my culinary adventure to Maine. The trip was well planned and gave us access to experiences I would not have been able to find on my own. The towns of Camden and Rockland were picturesque for this time of year (Nov) and our host ensured we were well taken care of the entire time. Thank you for a great trip. I'll be back.

RE: Greece

I was extremely impacted in a meaningful way by the experiences shared in Greece. More importantly, the diligence and care given by Karen Brown when I unfortunately had a major dental emergency. I was in so much pain. Karen not only found a highly rated dentist in Greece, but drove me to the appointment, waited for me to be seen and then found the pharmacy. By the way, Greece has great pain killers. On to the next journey with AIV baby!!

From start to finish our 2-week trip to Croatia was outstanding, with every detail thought through. We felt safe, well-informed and had a tremendous time. Not only were the restaurant and hotel selections world class, but the trans portion and activities were spectacular. The truffle hunting could not have been more fun! Our host, Mickael, shared most of the trip with…..which made the trip even more spectacular. We look forward to going on many more trips with AIV!

Recent Art in Voyage - Cook Nice Greece trip was beyond my wildest dreams. From the pick up at the ferry to our final goodbyes. The coordination of events, meals, excursions, the villa, just everything was spot on and impeccable. The exquisite meals and the cooking portion of this trip were amazing. Chef Fonzo not only knows how to cook amazing food, but knows how to teach even novices some basic cooking techniques unique to the country of Greece! His friendly demeanor and true culinary skills are second to none. Our host Karen Brown was there for anything we needed or wanted 24/7! Mykonos is not to be missed, the beautiful waters of the Aegean Sea were amazing, the shopping in Mykonos town and Little Venice were wonderful. Art in Voyage truly understands how to travel in style and luxury with ease !! Thank you !
