Rob was diligent in removing traces of Asbestos in what will be our new home. It was very hard work removing asbestos encased in bitumen! An old garage roof had to be removed as well. The site is now safe for the builders to start their work in a safe asbestos free environment. Good job Rob (and a shout out to Alfie as well!). No hesitation in recommending Asbestos 1.

Rob very efficiently carried out a management survey on a prospective property purchase after our building survey raised the possibility of the presence of asbestos.

He was extremely friendly and helpful throughout and was accommodating of difficulties faced gaining access during the period. He provided easy to understand explanations of the process and provided results rapidly.

We had some asbestos flags pop up in a homebuyer's report of a property we were buying. We bought the property and after moving in (before moving ahead with building work) we wanted to find out for certain if our house contained asbestos.

Having removed asbestos boarding from the garage as agreed, Rob returned at no extra charge to afix lighting cabling and a roof board. I was going to get a handyman to do the works because they were not asbestos related but Rob insisted as he wanted the end result to look good and be finished to his high standards.

First class asbestos removal service. Turned up on time and worked alongside roofer to remove old asbestos roofing material. Good price for a great service. No hesitation recommending this company.

Our engineer went above and beyond with concerns regarding removing our garage roof. Our neighbour had a bad experience and wanted reassured, so Rob came round and explained exactly how he would safely remove our roof. The roof was very old, but it was expertly removed with no breaks or cracks, disposed of and we were given our compliance note. We are very happy with Asbestos1 and have highly recommend them to friends.

I'd previously called out Rob from this brilliant company because I'd been concerned about asbestos in an outside meter cupboard. It was asbestos and it was dealt with by an environmental clean and a special coating applied with stickers to alert people to the hazard. Well, I then became concerned that the INSIDE meter cupboard was also asbestos. So whilst Rob was here looking at my asbestos garage roof, I asked him to have a quick look at the cupboard. It turned out it WAS asbestos again, and it had been disturbed. There and then Rob dealt with the matter with his clean and the special coating. I didn't have to wait and make another appointment. It's a duty of care thing and Rob has got it. In addition, he confirmed that yes my garage roof was asbestos but it would cost a considerable amount to remove and replace and as it wasn't dangerous, despite leaking when it rained, it wasn't in my interests to replace at this time. That's what I find refreshing - it isn't all about money, you actually get good and practical advice. Not only that, but I was so worried about fibres and stuff but Rob put it all into perspective for me and calmed me down! Thank you Rob!

Cannot fault the excellent, friendly service Rob and Asbestos1 offered - he gave us advice when we came across asbestos in our home late into the evening and arrived promptly the following day. He gave a fair quote and got on with the job with minimal fuss, overall I can strongly recommend him.
