From the time you walk through the door you are greeted with smiling faces. We brought our girl Bailey there for her first of 2 FHO surgeries. Dr Infernuso spent the time to go over everything we needed to know at our consultation and you can tell how much he cares for all his patients. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my girls orthopedic care and highly recommend ASC. Thank you for all you do.

From the minute you walk through the door, you are greeted with smiles by the front desk. I met with Dr. Inguzzo, who was the third vet I went to. My baby girl needed surgery and this Vet was the only one who put me at ease. He did a successful surgery and the follow up was unsurpassable. The place is also spotless. Highly recommend!!

I can’t thank Dr. Infernuso enough for taking care of our 6 year old Frenchie Remy. We were initially recommended by a vet to take Remy to see a neurologist for possible cervical bulging disc due to IVDD. After a horrible experience with VMCLI, we called Dr Infernuso late at night who told us to bring Remy in first thing in the next morning. He saw Remy immediately and sent him for a scan. Dr Infernuso reviewed scan, explained in detail why Remy needed surgery. Remy went right straight to emergency surgery from scan. Dr Infernuso performed ventral slot surgery at the C5-C6. I highly recommend the Animal Surgical Center in Oceanside. You will never find a more kind, compassionate, highly skilled surgeon than Dr. Infernuso. I also want to thank the staff at ASC as well. From the front desk employees especially Lisa who is a life saver when you most need one, to Liz who is the absolute best human on this planet. Desiree with her kind smile. Day, who is one of the managers, always there making sure not only is your pet care for but you as well. Equally thankful to the entire staff behind the scene, who took care Of Remy while he was medically boarded. I could never thank everyone enough for saving my sweet babyboys life. Brought my mixed breed dog to ASC to have two masses removed from her. Staff at ASC was very attentive and knowledgeable. Dr. Infernuso did an excellent job explaining what needed to be done and our options. The procedure went terrifically and our dog has made a speedy recovery.

From my first consult before surgery to the last follow up appointment my dog Amy was treated with kindness and compassion. The staff was patient and answered my questions and explained everything clearly. The surgery to remove a mass on her leg went better than expected. The staff was so accommodating scheduling follow up appointments around my work schedule. I highly recommend anyone whose fur baby needs surgery come here for a consult. Thank you again so much!

Everyone was so attentive and nice. I felt my pet was in good hands and he was in good caring hands. I can't say enough about his surgeon Dr.Infernuso. Everything went well and the surgical site healed beautifully. MY pet came in needing emergency surgery.They immediately took him him and kept us up to date on how he was doing.This gave us peace of mind. The care and profesionalism of the staff from the moment you walk in is reassuring my healthy toy poodle was found to have a 4cm mass in her liver after blood work and ultrasound at her regular vet,we live in eastern suffolk county my 1st though was no way am driving to Oceanside when her vet gave us 3 hospitals to choose from the other 2 been much closer to home so i called them first and got voice mail on both, finally called ASC and they answered were nice enough to give me an appt for next day to see Dr Kamran he took looked at sonargram and decided to squeezed her in his scheduled and have surgery that very afternoon the care my poodle received while waiting in a small private room and letting us stay with her till her turn help us more than her....Dr Kamran called after surgery and the Dr. on duty called us twice that night to keep us posted and the next morning Dr. Kamran did such a nice job she left after 24hrs instead of three days,my 9yr old poodle is almost brand new and has recovered with no problems 8 weeks later i called to talk to Dr Kamran and he called me back within hrs and reassured me.....i highly recommend driving to Oceanside in traffic to be able to leave your dog in a hospital with caring and proffesional doctors and staff ! Dr. Kamran thank you from the bottom of my heart !!

We were referred by 2 friends, each of their dogs having had different surgeries performed by Dr. Infernuso. My 7yo dog, Roxy, had a lipoma in her neck area. We brought her in at 8am as instructed, however she wasn't operated on until late afternoon. I was disappointed because we were told she would be there roughly 3 hours, and she hadn't eaten since 11pm the previous night.

In spite of this, the medical & support staff was wonderful! They were so kind, compassionate, and loving toward Roxy, and helpful to my daughter when I couldn't return to pick her up due to a medical emergency.

Dr. Infernuso did a great job with the surgery, no complications, and he followed up with phone calls.

I would highly recommend Dr. Infernuso & the Animal Surgical Center in the future.

The entire team went above and beyond for our BoBo (Bocelli). I cannot say enough good things. From the dr, to the techs, to the front desk, everyone made us feel welcome and safe. BoBo is now fully healed and living his best life. THANK YOU!!!

Highly impressed with Dr. Infernuso and his staff. I knew at the consultation that our Mini Dachshund was in good hands. Day of surgery we were kept informed every step of the way. Knowing he would be staying over night and that round the clock care was provided really put us at ease. Superior medical care and kindness from all. Highly recommend Animal Surgical Center.

Fantastic facility, open, friendly, excellent doctors, lovely staff. The pet’s guardians are allowed to stay with their pets the whole time, even overnight.

If your pet needs surgery, Dr Infernuso and staff at Animal Surgical center in Oceanside is the only place to go! My 2 year old french bulldog just had the BOAS , and stenotic nares procedure done by Dr Infernuso and it completely changed his quality of life. He can finally breathe, eat, sleep and exercise without choking snoring and exhaustion. The Dr and entire staff were so caring and attentive with my boy, who was a difficult patient to say the least! I wouldn't have gone anywhere else!

The staff is so kind. Dr Kamren is amazing! He explained everything about the surgery and what to expect in recovery. Our Luna is almost back to normal after her torn ACL surgery. A few more weeks of recovery and she’ll be as good as new.

Dr. Short and her team were wonderful from the start. Our cat, Peaches’ surgery went smoothly and we received photos of Peaches post surgery as well as a phone call to let us know how she was doing. They also called us to see how she was feeling at home.🏡

My family and I would recommend the Animal Surgery Center very highly.

We were referred to this facility by our regular vet as they felt the surgical center could better handle our dogs lipoma removal due to its size and location. We made an appointment for a consultation and met Dr. Infernuso who we came to learn is the owner of the facility. Dr. Infernus was exceptionally kind, caring, understanding, and very patient in explaining to us what was to be done, the risks and concerns and then very open to take time to answer all the questions that we had.
During the procedure, the staff kept us updated and truly showed their caring value as they knew we were nervous. Once the operation was complete, Dr Infernuso called us and explained everything that occurred (the procedure was just as expected and explained during the consultation). The staff later called as well to check in and we’re super helpful in handling our Pet Insurance claims. Shout out to Lisa who is fantastic!
Having to take your loved one to a surgical center is nerve-racking and scary but the level of service rendered in my opinion is superb and I would 100% recommend them to anyone with these type of needs.

Extremely easy experience with Animal Surgical Center. The staff was very professional and knowlegable. Every question I asked was answered promptly and with courtesy.
Dr. Short, the veterinary surgeon, kept us informed of all steps of surgery and even sent a pic of our dog when the surgery was over.
Every thing was a success, even the stitches looked good.
I hope my dog Jackson never needs another operation, but if he does, I can have confidence bringing him to Animal Surgical Center of Long Island!
