Ahead of The Game Dog Training Reviews

We had a great experience with Ahead of the Game Dog Training! We have a one year old boxer that was persistent about specific bad habits that we could not break her from. Julie came in once a week for several weeks and we saw an instant change in Macie's behavior. We have had several boxers, but couldn't get this puppy to break certain bad habits. I would recommend ATG to anyone needing an experienced trainer.

Julie is wonderful. She gives you loads of information to help with your training and always zeros in on your specific needs. I can't recommend her enough for anyone needing help with their dog! If we need help in the future with our Lumi Frost, she is the one I will contact. Talk to her, you won't be sorry!

I cannot say enough about Julie and her company. She was amazing with my dog, Auggie, who brought him out of his shell and gave him the confidence to interact with the outside world. She also gave me great tools to work with him so I could continue to improve his skills and reinforce his newly learned behavior and responses. I have recommended her to many people since then, and all have been delighted with the experience, the results, and the process.

Julie is great! Very knowledgeable and honest about expectations. Helpful and available for questions. She definitely knows her stuff and I would absolutely recommend her.

Julie is one of the most caring and responsive trainers I have met. My pup had severe fear of the vet. Through personalized training, Julie helped boost my pup's confidence and understand how to continue to help him at home. We have seen a major improvement! She also worked with us on behavior and tricks so we have fun games to play together. We can't recommend her enough for any training need!

Julie Haller is the absolute best trainer we have ever had with our Samson. We had a former trainer for a very short time with him and she caused him to become afraid and our Gracie who was not even being trained was terrified of her. When Julie came they both immediately fell in love with her. She made remarkable changes with Samson and Gracie and each training session we would see those changes and the positive impact it made on both Samson and Grace. To this day they know Ms. Julie and get so excited when she pulls up to our home.💗. When we recently rescued 3 puppies she came and evaluated them, tested them for us and has walked with us with them and we will soon start training with her again on them. There is No One better than Julie Haller for Training!! She is the ABSOLUTE VERY BEST IN THE WORLD!!💛. Thank you Ms. Julie for all you have done for us and continue to do, we love and appreciate you so very much❤️🥰🤗

Our dog was about four month old and was incredibly fearful of any adult so we gave Julie a call for help. The patience and kindness she showed was above and beyond. She was very willing to help and encourage us even when we were doubting our decision to bring home a new dog.
10/10 recommend!

Julie gave us some great tips to help our puppy be less anxious and gain some security. She also sent us tons of online guidance to help him. She is professional and sweet to work with.

What sets ATG apart from the other numerous trainers is the personalized experience. One of our dogs has pretty severe anxiety (she's a rescue) and afraid to go outside at times. What I really loved about ATG is that Julie came to our house for all of our sessions so my dog could work in her familiar environment without the distraction of other dogs/people. Julie gave a weekly plan of activities for us to work on, tailored just for my dog. Julie was extremely patient while working with my dog and over time it was heart-warming to see my dog's progress over the weeks. I plan to continue having Julie work with my dog as I know it's not a "quick fix" but a gradual progression. I would recommend ATG to anyone wanting a personal, customized and successful training experience. Thank you Julie!!!

I would highly recommend Julie and ATG for dog training! Julie worked with us and our 1 year old puppy, Nala, and she not only was so kind, flexible, but she is so incredibly knowledgeable too! We walked away from our once a week trainings with "homework" that was helpful, yet simple to do and fun for us and Nala. We had a few goals in mind for training and we didn't reach all of them, but we did walk away with a dog that has a now amazing recall, does her commands, does better walking on the leash, and have the tools we need to ensure we reach our goals! Thanks Julie!!

We had a great experience with ATG! Highly recommended!

I love how ATG takes the positive approach to training so that you don’t end up with a fearful or aggressive dog. After each training session, Julie sent an email that recapped what we worked on and handouts that went over each of the training “games” that we learned so that we could correctly work on them during the week. Any questions or issues we were having, she offered solutions. We loved working with Julie and can’t wait to take the next level of training.

We had a great experience with ATG. We had a puppy Rottweiler that really enjoyed the training with Julie. She went above and beyond working with us and our puppy. Highly recommend.

Anytime I have questions about my dog’s progress, Julie is always extremely helpful! She even offers new games to try in an effort to challenge my dog (and me!). Thanks for all your help, Julie!
