I’ve been using Athena tutors for many years now with both my children (one about to go to University and one who’s just completed his GCSCs). I have found their tutors of consistently very high quality and with an excellent attitude towards their students. Jack, Dev and Harrison have been 5 rated and offered their services unconditionally to my son, especially Jack. I am very impressed by Athena Tuition. The matching process was expertly done. Both of my son's tutors, Jack (Maths) and Harrison (Computing) always have time and patience to explain to him in detail. When he has exams pending, they go above and beyond to accommodate him and his needs, happy to chop and change their schedule and to help him to navigate his exam schedule and give him support to help him to stay focused and determined. My daughter was really struggling with anxiety and panic attacks midway through yr11. She had severe panic attacks regularly and was unable to make even the smallest decisions. Within 2 weeks of meeting with her tutor, Sophie, from Athena Minds (a mental health tutor) my daughter was back to her pre GCSE self. She gained such self confidence over the months and has coping strategies which really work. She will be continuing with Athena Minds while doing her A- levels. I cannot recommend Athena Minds highly enough. I believe it literally saved my daughter's mental health.

Amazing experience. From the beginning with my enquiry, right through to the end Wesley ensured I was happy with my tuition. Jacqui provided so much help in such little time. Starting off, I had little confidence in myself, but Jacqui ensured that she would help me get on the right track to achieve the grade that I wanted. The whole process from start to finish was very straight forward and efficient. I contacted Athena with an enquiry for a maths tutor. Wesley promptly replied to say Katya was available and local to us and we arranged for her to come once a week. She was a lovely young woman who my daughter was very comfortable with. With her help my daughter managed to up her GCSE grade from a C in the mock exam to a B in her final exam. We were all delighted!

My son needed help with the technical side of his A Level Product Design. A friend suggested Athena and through them we found Tzveta.

Wesley at Athena was highly professional and kept in contact all through the process. And Tzveta quickly gauged my son's needs and did a great job in helping him get the grades he needed...which was in no way a given! She was very knowledgeable and understood the requirements of his exam board requirements. My son found her easy to work with.
