I’m sorry to hear that the programme did not feel like the right fit for your learning style and expectations.

My teaching approach focuses on developing long-term exam-thinking skills, confidence, and independent problem-solving alongside Chemistry content and exam preparation. Different students respond differently to different teaching methods, and I appreciate that not every approach suits every learner.

Will you stop lying. You are not a customer.

I stayed in one of your rooms at your hotel and gave you a 3 out of 10 because I was not happy with the experience. The access to the property was difficult to find. I gave you better instructions to use with your next customer so that they would be able to find a black lock box in a dark corner at night-time. The review also mentioned that the projector has a brown spot on the inside of the lens so you cannot watch anything. You can clean it. There is free Netflix, but only if it connects to the WiFi, which it did not. There was no kettle for hot drinks, no mugs. There was one wine glass, one glass, one bowl, one set of cutlery, 2 plates. The heating was not on eventhough the radiator was put on. It was a cold room. Very disappointing. Not worth 7.7 .
You asked me to remove and I said I would if you made the repairs. Instead you are writing lies about me and my business.
You are not a customer. So you cannot write a review. You have never met me. Never used my services.
But I used yours and you are slandering me.
Your service was poor. Revenge us not a nice trait to have.

Thank you for your review. I loved teaching your daughter, such a quick learner and mastering her dominant learning style showed in the progress she made. She is at a head start for the GCSE year 10 curriculum.

Thank you for your review, it gives me the chance to explain again what we have to offer.

I’m sorry that I decided to give your child the opportunity to work with us, she did not take advantage of all that was offered to her as part of the program. The targeted learning, learning resources on the learning platform and support network, nor did she attend the exam prep classes beyond teaching material and consolidation classes.

By visiting the facebook group and watching the free lessons and other materials you were fully aware of the high standard of teaching and you decided to participate. You follow us for 12 months. Once notice was given, a termination date was sent to you, which was beyond the first month as per the agreement you consented to and thus payment was recovered.

To give a month's trial (whether free or paid) when there is a month's notice on a three month's tutoring programme, means that you have already decided that it will not work.
By believing that the Atompi Academy's system will work, is putting your trust in us that we have your child's best interest at the heart of what we do. (We have plenty of snippets of lessons in our Facebook group for you to view free)

We have designed our programs to bring the best out of your child, working with the innate way they were created to work, study and learn.

We look at the demographics of their learning style, taking their first, second and third into account. I have been using learning styles since 1986, becoming an expert, studying and researching as a personal interest, using my research skills as a true scientist (biomedical) for over 20 years.

This is the first thing we do.

We test and then through the months you work with us, we train you to develop and build on your best way your child learns and studies which will cover you for the rest of your life. We are teaching a skill to pass every exam forever with extremely high grades. Some of our students have attained 100% in tests and exams, like I have in! We do all this individually with Carol, the learning style and chemistry expert and through the chosen science subject with our expert fully qualified chemistry, biology and physics teachers.

Thus, this is not a theory. It is a fact. Your child can become an A* student, obtaining 100% in exams. It doesn't matter what your starting grade is, the only thing we ask of you is that you trust us to fulfil our part. We ask you to do what we say, in the way we say, to respect us, honour us, be truthful in your dealings with us, and because we live in a society where we use money for payment, pay us on time, at our rates, and with the proper notice period when you continue past the initial three months.

On this note, do you go shopping and say, could I try out the washing machine for a month, have a free trial to see if it will work for me. Can I have a taste of all the food in Tesco, Asda, Morrison, Aldi, Lidl etc before I commit to buying? Can I try living in your home before I rent or buy? Try your school?

Of course not!

So why do you behave differently to tutoring? You don't scrutinise your school teachers. All of our tutors have teaching qualifications and bachelor degrees in their chosen subject. Some have master degrees and some are working on their doctorate degrees.

On our website, we have the DBS and work council for teachers emblems because we are registered. The later, you can only be registered if the school added you!

Thank you Helen B for taking the time to write a review. 
In October the group had one other person, a year 11. We went over a baseline assessment and exam question which your daughter scored 16%. I sent pictures in WhatsApp of how to answer the questions and the other student got 80%. 

You asked for feedback using text and email on the same day and I responded by text and phone. I informed you of above and the sound quality of her laptop was poor and difficult to hear her. 

The students who used the portal last year all got 9 in GCSE chemistry and A* in A level. Only videos of whiteboard are in portal. No faces or names. Everyone gives reviews and you were informed before you signed up that everything is recorded except names, which you agreed to in the contract.  This is mainly for my feedback, she expressed pleasure in classes and was cheerful. I have used some reviews in advertising, all with consent. 

Your daughter knows her dominant learning style and was taught in it and did an exam question in her first lesson (the promise,as advertised). She would have had more guidance on how to use in preparation for exams if she'd stayed longer. 

You informed me that you had made a mistake with the timings and clash with the maths class, so she was moved to a private session on Saturday, which you forgot, was often moved to fit in with her extra curricular activities. You rebooked up to December, before abruptly cancelling without the notice period.  I may have mentioned a cat if she jumped up onto the table. I know my chemistry extremely well since I've been teaching for over 10 years and was a research biochemist for 20 years with a BSc, MPhil, PGCE with top grades from top universities, using my dominant learning style. 
Oh by the way, I have been involved with medical research projects which have saves countless lives over the decades. Without knowing my knowledge of chemistry, I would not have conducted any research, some of which I was the lead investigator.
So before you critise someone else, look at what you did or didn't do to support your child's learning.

Thank you for your review.
I'm sorry that you feel that the program did not work for your daughter.
But… it did really.
I spoke with her on Monday and she has improved her grades, has found her dominant learning style and is using the suggestions made to her. If she keeps doing this her grades will improve. She has watched 35% of the program on the portal and I am allowing her to stay on it until her exams in June 2023. So, the program has began to support her in her learning. As she uses her dominant style and develops it as she matures, she will be able to use it her whole life, making life much easier for studying and revision in all of her exams forever.
To address your concerns (it would have been better for you to have contacted me privately).
• I provide an individual learning plan from the start from first contact with students and throughout the program and see students privately
• Class sizes are intimate
• There is ample opportunity for discussions but students have to talk
• A different approach to school is used in teaching the material, so bigger picture is seen from the onset
• Program didn’t work – her grades went up and she’s learnt how to use her dominant learning style. However, she didn’t submit any homework or test papers so no feedback could be given. She didn’t book any individual sessions unless prompted by me for work she was struggling on. After her last lesson, I asked her to stay behind where I told her that I am really pleased with her progress. I asked for feedback and it was positive, she mentioned no problems.

The extra support I provide beyond the class sessions are private 1-2-1 bookable sessions, parental feedback, small intimate group, access to a learning portal where videos and session notes are stored for the whole of GCSE and A level chemistry in all boards.
