Incredible robot mower with top support
I actually got onto the mowrator through my neighbour. We both have about 7 acres of land with steep slopes and rough terrain in places.
I bought the mowrator direct via their website. You can actually also buy the mowrator on Amazon.
If you buy via their website I advise to contact them first and ask if you place an order and pay via bank transfer. I paid on creditcard and got slapped with a $250 credit currency charge (by credit card company) as the website takes AUD but is converted the Hong Kong Dollars.
Now about the mowrator itself. If you have a backyard lawn, this machine would be an overkill. But if you have a big yard and tough grass, slopes this is the mower for you.
I have 4.5 acres of paddocks to mow and slopes of 30-40 degrees. I mow grass a meter high with no problems. Also be aware this is not a fully automatic mower. You have to control it with the remote. I also have a fully automatic mower, but get really annoyed with the fully automatic one as it needs a lot of rescue on rougher slopes. Also the mowrator is just much faster.
I have had 3 breakdows with the mowrator.
- hanging arm for deck broke
- blade clamp broke in two (still usable though)
- wheel broke on frame
I can not praise the support high enough. In all cases i had a replacement part within 7-8 days. In the last case I was send a new unit as the frame was broken. The new frame has now extra reinforcement. I mow effectively 4 acres with the mowrator, so it gets a hard workout. With over 4 acres to mow, in summer with the rain and heat, mowing is like painting the Sydney harbour bridge. When you are at the end you can go straight to the start again. The mower is build like a tank and is heavy. When the wheel broke, I had to get the 4x4 and tow it back to the shed.
I can not recommend this robot mower highly enough. Build quality and support are amazing. I have had the mowrator now for about 7 months.
