Very calm experience and I was not pushed in any way making a more expensive purchased which I really appreciated. Brilliant
The ring I wanted only came in a width of 3mm or 4mm. My fiancé and I were told in the showroom in order to get the ring in a 3.5mm width band we’d have to place a none refundable £150 deposit, in order to create a CAD image to then proceed with a ‘custom ring’. Bearing in mind the 4mm ring is listed on their website for £421 with discount, we were promised by the showroom assistant the 3.5mm custom ring would end up costing less than this in total, around £400 we were told (deposit included). We waited well over a week for the CAD image (after being told it would be a couple of days) and were quoted a final price of £599 which we expressed our complete surprise at. We have had no response since.
We feel like we have been totally mislead and scammed into paying the £150 deposit. We would categorically not have not placed the deposit if we had been given any indication the final price would be £599. We made them aware our wedding is only a few weeks away & we feel totally taken advantage of. This whole process has just caused us more stress. We hope to get our £150 back but we don’t hold much hope for this.

I am very disappointed with the overall experience as a first time customer in Ireland. I placed an online order on 25th April with an expected delivery of 2–3 weeks, but it took nearly a month to arrive which is not the worst part of this.
There was no tracking provided on my order, which made it impossible to know where my order was. Firstly, I tried contacting the Irish customer service number listed on the website and I was told they wouldn’t able to assist with online orders as they are just a store in Ireland and ask me to locate other contact details on the website. (First impression that going to store wouldn’t solve the issue) Secondly, I was shocked so i contacted the live chat twice with no reply after few days. Third, I have chanced contacting twice on the email which I have received an update of my order back in end of April and NO response at all. Forth, contacted the Irish Instagram account was equally unresponsive — it was only after reaching out to the main account that I finally got a reply!
The ring itself did eventually arrive after the main Instagram account linked with a staff in the store (and they were able to track and prioritize my order which contradicted to the customer service), but the stress and lack of communication throughout the process was really disappointing, especially as this was for a special occasion.
For a purchase as meaningful as an engagement ring, you’d expect a much better customer experience.
I hope the brand improves their Irish customer support. Wouldn’t recommend placing an order online.

She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping create something meaningful and unique. Hannah took the time to understand exactly what i was looking for, guided me through every detail of the design process, and made what could have felt overwhelming feel exciting and enjoyable instead.
Her communication from start to the end of the process was amazing, and the final ring exceeded all expectations. You can truly tell she cares deeply about her clients and the quality of her work. I would highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a thoughtful and trustworthy expert to help create such a special piece.

We were in Chester ring shopping and popped into A&B because we’d gotten so many instagram ads for them, we thought we’d see what the hype was about.
Luckily, we were served by Poppy, who is a credit to the store. She was by her own admission new, and still learning but she was incredibly helpful and friendly. She’s obviously learned a lot in her short time there and made choosing and buying a ring incredibly easy. After her help, getting a ring from A&B was a no brainer.

Purchased a new engagement ring in Dec and returned for a necklace this April. Both times Hazel served us. Absolutely no issues with service and welcome. Definitely recommend this establishment great service and very friendly staff.

I was kept up to date on the progress of the ring at every step and my ring arrived with plenty time to spare. Fantastic quality and fits perfectly with my engagement ring. I would highly recommend

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Austen & Blake.
I ordered an engagement ring, and unfortunately I gave the wrong size measurement, completely my mistake. However, when I collected the ring and realised it was too big, I left it in the store immediately and called them within two hours asking for the ring to be remade.
I assumed the remake process had already started, especially because I explained that my proposal was planned for 4 weeks later.
After 1.5 weeks of silence, I received an email asking whether I actually wanted the ring remade. This was incredibly frustrating because I had already requested it both in store and over the phone. I then had to chase them repeatedly by email and phone calls, before they finally started the process, wasting another 4 days.
What makes this worse is that the original ring was made in around 2 weeks, yet somehow the remake takes over 4 weeks. Because of their delays and poor communication, I now have to use a fake display ring for my proposal instead of the actual engagement ring.
The customer service felt disorganised, dismissive, and disrespectful throughout the process. I understand mistakes happen, including mine, but the way this was handled was unacceptable.
