I have been working with Authority Builders for 2 years now. Their support has been outstanding and the digital PR and ABC+ backlinks have helped us grow immensely.

I paid Authority Builders $22,250 for Digital PR and ABC+ link building services between October 2025 and January 2026. My experience was extremely disappointing and I feel compelled to warn other businesses considering their services.

DIGITAL PR SERVICE - ZERO DELIVERY ($4,250):

On January 28, 2026, I paid $4,250 for their "Intermediate PR Plus Package" which was advertised on their website as "Guaranteed 24+ placements per month." After payment, I received 30 days of complete silence - no deliverables, no progress updates, no communication whatsoever.

When I complained on February 25, 2026, the service description suddenly changed. I was told it was actually a "one-off batch of 10 earned media placements" - a term that was never mentioned during the sales process or on the invoice. To date, I have received ZERO placements despite full payment.

On March 10, 2026, their General Manager (Corey Batt) stated "Everything has been completed to the agreed standards." This is demonstrably false - I received nothing for my $4,250.

ABC+ LINK BUILDING - QUALITY ISSUES ($18,000):

I also paid $18,000 for two ABC+ link building campaigns ($9,000 each for .com.au and .com domains). Authority Builders advertises a "minimum 1,000 monthly organic traffic" quality standard for placements.

I conducted a third-party audit using SEMrush and found that 16.4% of the delivered links (9 out of 80 domains) fell below this stated minimum. When I raised this issue, I was again told "everything completed to standards" despite documented evidence to the contrary.

During the campaign period, my website traffic declined 32.9% (from 17,700 to 11,800 monthly visitors per SEMrush data).

MATERIAL NON-DISCLOSURE:

The specification sheet containing critical service terms was only provided on March 2, 2026 - 33 days AFTER I made the $4,250 payment. This prevented me from making an informed decision before purchasing.

CEO IGNORED ESCALATION:

I escalated this matter directly to Marc Hardgrove, CEO of Next Net Media (Authority Builders' parent company), via multiple emails with detailed evidence. Despite being directly addressed and CC'd on correspondence, he provided zero response and allowed subordinates to make statements I can prove are false.

RECOMMENDATION:

Based on my experience:
- Zero delivery on a $4,250 service
- Substandard quality on $18,000 in services (16.4% below their own standards)
- Service description changed after payment
- Material terms hidden until after payment
- False statements about completion
- CEO ignored escalation with evidence

I cannot recommend Authority Builders. I have filed complaints with the FTC, FBI (IC3), and initiated a chargeback dispute. Other businesses should carefully consider whether they want to risk a similar experience.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering Authority Builders to consider alternative providers with more transparent practices

Authority Builders has been great to work with! My account manager Aaron has always been happy to answer any of my questions. I've been on their ABC Plus Basic plan for less than 12 months and my site already has 10 times more clicks from Google!

If you have good onsite SEO and have a clear idea of what you are trying to accomplish, Authority Builders is a great sidekick. I am using the ABC service on multiple sites and use it as steroids to complement the SEO work that I do myself. I have used the service for at least 2 years and don't stop.

After engaging Authority Builders to work with our SAAS product they have been able to secure several exceptionally high-quality links. Organic reach on our website is up significantly and this has helped to drive down our CPC on our related PPC campaigns running alongside our SEO strategy.
Speaking with our account liaison Mike he was very clear on providing clear expectations on the types of links we would receive, timeframes and the overall process. We will be looking to engage with them again for other off-page options once our HARO campaign is fully completed.

My agency has been working with Authority Builders for a number of years now and they have been fundamental in our businesses effective growth. I run a small team through leveraging their off page work - with my staff being able to liaise with our agency account manager who runs all of our client campaigns. Whether we have a very specific client who we need to provide very specific requirements or other clients where we’re open to strategy advice they’ve been able to perform without issue. When our account manager was on leave we were informed immediately of alternative contacts who were able to help with any campaigns during that time so I appreciate knowing they’ve got their systems in place. Aaron Conway has been an excellent results driven account manager who quadrupled website sales by executing a strategic monthly targeted keyword SEO plan over the course of 24 months.

Very professional company. I was able to get onto a call the same day with Adam who was able to clearly break down how the website was currently tracking but more importantly WHY it was where it was in Google and how to change that. No vague statements, just the core stats on what my competitors were doing, where I was and how much I needed to bridge the gap.

Reports of work delivered monthly and Adam always keeps in touch. We hit our goal with one of the smaller terms pretty quickly so Adam was proactive in letting me know they were going to redirect that budget to my other pages so it wasn’t going to waste. It’s little things like that which make the difference.

I've run a number of e-commerce stores and Authority Builders has dramatically improved our rankings and subsequent sales for each of them. My account manager has been consistent in letting me know about our progress and pointing out opportunities to grow our other product collections and pages.

I always appreciate the honest feedback on budget, likelihood of success and pointing out other on page issues my sites have that need to be rectified even if that's not their core service.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! LOOK ELSEWHERE!

After three months and $3,000 dollars, this company's "efforts" to provide backlinks failed miserably. No only did their backlinks not improve my site's organic traffic, but THEIR EFFORTS ACTUALLY LOWERED MY WEBSITE'S TRUST/AUTHORITY SCORE!

Making matters worse, my account rep tried to take credit for the site's growth solely on the handful of backlinks they created. When I called him out on the statistics that other website improvements were the actual factors improving growth, he could not defend it! Sadly, I feel for the people who don't know any better who get duped by this company! When I asked them to work an additional 90 days on their dime to prove me wrong, they wouldn't even commit to that. HORRIBLE COMPANY!

We've been using ABC Plus (monthly link building) for well over a year, and I can confidently say that we now have one of the top 10, if not top 5, small businesses locally in our niche in terms of search. Before we started with Authority Builders, we might've gotten 30 website contacts in a month. Now that we're over a year in, we get over 30 website contacts in a week, every week. This has helped us grow from a single employee business to a real business with 15+ employees in just a few years.

I do a lot of SEO copywriting and website optimization myself, but I firmly believe that much more than half of our website growth and success is because of the link building work we've done with Authority Builders. We actively work with our account manager David Hart to strategize new areas for growth and ask him for his advice on where should go next. We often talk about how working with him literally just on email has been way better than working with the SEO agency that introduced us. We truly consider him and Authority Builders to be an important part of our business.

If you're looking into Authority Builders or another service, it's important to remember that SEO and link building is a long game, especially if you're starting from near-zero. One or two links from almost any SEO service is not going to move the needle (we've built 100+ links with them by this point), but investing in a long-term strategy and strategizing with Authority Builders has absolutely paid off for us.
