I live in their area and they put a system together for me. They did great technical work. Everything runs as expected and done in a good time. And their in-person customer technical contact was very friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent overall experience.

I placed my order on 10/9/25 they sent me an email on 10/10 saying that my payment was successful. On 10/15 they send me an email saying that the product I ordered is out of stock, and it will cost an additional $72 to restock it. They gave me the choice to pay more for a product that they already accepted payment for or select a new product. This is a blatant breach of FTC laws.

Every state — including Oregon, Arizona, California, etc. — has its own consumer protection act.
These laws prohibit:
“Bait-and-switch” tactics,
Retroactive price increases, and
Failure to honor posted or agreed prices.
For example:
Oregon Revised Statutes §646.608(1)(k) prohibits “advertising goods or services with intent not to sell them as advertised.”

Dont waste your money - go to a reliable company that offers service and has a goal of creating well made merchandise that they stand behind. This is not the place!!!

Wouldn't use them again

Complete scam. This website will gladly take your credit card information. Placed an order, they refused to ever even attempt to charge me. Then they cancel the order and an hour later I have 4 unauthorized charges. This website doesn’t actually ship any products, it’s a phishing site

I received a quote and later purchased that product only to have customer service reach out to tell me there was an issue with the pricing they provided, and asked if I would be willing to pay an additional amount just so they can "break even". First of all, they're not losing money on a $2,300 laptop. Second, even if that were true, they would still make more money on a potential repeat customer if they just agreed to eat the additional $60 they wanted. Shouldn't businesses stand behind their quotes? I can't stress enough that all I wanted to do was purchase the quote they provided me. I can't recommend AVADirect.com if they won't stand behind their quotes. It's that simple.

AVAdurect got me just what I was looking for within the price range I set.

The whole process, from initial order to delivery was handled with care, responsiveness and speed I wasn't expecting delivered by friendly and knowledgeable reps.

All in all, a good experience.

Super fast, easy to buy, and cheapest price at the time.

An employee of AVADirect created a sock account known as John-e-Diamonds on Reddit in order to defame our company. We contacted AVADirect in June in regards to a distribution deal where they would build some of our laptops and sell them on their website. We actually worked out a deal, and they did offer our laptops on their site for a brief period of time. You can find mentions of it on their social media.

Well, after only a couple of months, we decided to end the deal and asked AVADirect to remove our laptops and all mention of our company from their site, and we told this employee that he was the reason why we were ending the deal. So if you're wondering what his motive is to create a sock account and defame our company, that's probably it. He really seemed to take offense to us saying he cost his business one of the best opportunities they will ever have.

This AVADirect employee is one of the worst kinds of people to deal with. He will say anything, flip-flopping back and forth from one day to the next, as if he has no memory or conscience. For instance, he'll give you a price on day 1 and then, on day 2, increase it by 50% without even telling you he's doing it or justifying why he did it.

When you correspond with him through email, he honestly comes across as a goon. One of his favorite expressions is, "It is what it is." This is what he says when you call him out on his nonsense. "It is what it is." His creating a sock account in order to defame our company is honestly proof of how little character he has.

When we were working out a deal, this employee said AVADirect makes 5% on the sale of laptops. Then, right after this, he asked us for a 20% cut on the sale of our laptops and even tried to get 30%. After some back and forth on why he was asking for so much, he said AVADirect makes 20% on their MSI laptops. So what happened to the 5% he said AVADirect makes on laptops?

In his Reddit post, he said that AVADirect refused to do business with us. This is a direct quote: "In the 15+ years I've been in the industry, this was the first time I refused ongoing business from a client. Take what you want from that statement." In actuality, we are the ones who ended the deal between our companies, and it was because we were tired of dealing with this employee. AVADirect never refused to do business with us.

The fact that AVADirect doesn't fire this employee means they allow their employees to engage in this sort of duplicitous behavior, so if they reply to this review, you cannot trust a word they say. Of course, they will probably try to make up more lies about us in order to defend themselves. The facts speak for themselves. We terminated the deal between our company and AVADirect and one of their employees subsequently created a sock account on Reddit in an attempt to defame us by saying we are so bad they refused to do business with us.

This is my second computer I purchased from Avadirect. According to their website "Customers who purchased a "Signature Series" or "True Custom" product from AVADirect are entitled to free technical hardware-related support for the lifetime of their product."

Warranty states "AVA Basic (2-Year Labor / 1-Year Parts)"

After several requests to Tech Support I have yet to hear back about my onboard NIC issue. I contacted Tech Support due to packet related loss. Because the company "Advertises" "Lifetime Tech Support"

I reached out with them to attempt to discuss a defective onboard NIC issue with my Motherboard. The issues I am encountering are packet related lost. This is from occurring when pinging my default gateway. I have attempted to eliminate the issue.

I replaced and used a back up router, used a new cat5 Cable. Neither of those two fixes addressed the issue. It also is not a issue related to my ISP because I am not pinging past the default gateway.

The only way to determine if the onboard NIC card is defective is through a separate ping test. I purchased and I used a a TP-Link USB to Ethernet Adapter. I went through the USB and repeated the same test. By doing so this eliminated the packet lost.

But now I am left with a defective on-board motherboard NIC. And with a company that claims they provide "Lifetime Support" and "Warranty Services" who after they sell you the computer could careless about responding back to a customer.

Will be opening a claim through Mastercard Purchase Assurance as the company will not address this concern.

This is my third computer that I bought from AVADirect. The first computer was purchased back in February 2008, the next one was in May 2014 and the last one in April 2023. I like the ability to customize everything and AVADirect really delivers in this area, especially when it comes to air cooling for CPUs.

The only "ding" I will give them is when the case was end of life, they didn't pull it from their website, so I had to go back and forth to find another case after I placed my order. The video card I wanted was also out of stock, so I had to get a different one. I think the next time I will send them an e-mail and ask if everything is in stock before submitting an order.

Granted, they have many items on their website and they are sourced from a 3rd party supplier, so it may be nearly impossible to verify in stock status on all items.

Ease of picking out the right computer for me

Both the build and shipping came off without complications. Packing it for shipping was the Chef's Kiss. And my PC arrived early. Checked all the connections and fired her up. Very happy with the results. Cable management was a work of art. I only wish I could buy a 2nd build now! But I have state of the art for my budget and no complaints what so ever.

The pc is great, they made recommendations and even waved the price of an upgrade for me, everyone was so nice, I was able to finance it for 12 months, and this allowed me to get my dream computer, and it came with a warrenty! They even give you the rest of the thermal paste if you select diamond, avadirect has always done my family good, they made my old pc and my moms pc, they do take a little while to build the pc tho. BUT NOW I HAVE RAY TRACING

I had a problem with the keyboard that I ordered with my new computer. The final decision was to replace the keyboard. Very helpful.

Great service and a fair price. The computer came as ordered and wasn't loaded with crapware nobody wants. It works great and I'll order my next machine from them.

They were timely and helpful. If I ever need to purchase a computer again I will definitely use them.

I was recommended Avadirect by a friend, and I've not regretted it! From the very first impressions I had of Avadirect via their website and how easily I could operate it and tinker with options, to being in direct contact with Kyle to finalize some details and provide some key insight into my system. I've had my rig for almost 2 months now and I couldn't be happier! As an unexpected bonus, the keyboard and mouse I got with the tower are AMAZING and I really enjoy them!
