Complete and utter scam artists. Do not buy!!
I bought a green M65 Field Jacket from Avery Rowe on 15/10/26. On the website it looked great, good quality, thick denim like fabric, big pockets, correct colour and style. What I received two weeks later I can only describe as a piece of sxxt. A completely different product/jacket.
The fabric is a soft, fluffy cotton. The colour is a dark muddy green, not the same. The pockets are a different size and style. The stitching is poor quality. The zip is cheap and poor quality. It has a nasty silky lining, the one on the photo had no lining. It has no inner label or hang loop, the one on the website did. It is a completely different jacket.
When I emailed Avery Rowe with the two comparison photos they replied and denied it, said it is the same product..! I told them I want to return it for a full refund obviously at their expense. They replied saying if I want to return it I have to pay to ship it to China! From the UK. And that they don’t do free returns or provide shipping labels.
This company is a total scam. UK website, they are based in the Netherlands and they ship from China. The “hassle free 30 day return policy” is a joke. You have to pay to ship it back to China. And they make it clear to use tracked shipping and pay customs duty and import taxes etc. They basically make it impossible to do a return. Who is going to pay £25 to return something just to get a refund of £25?! It’s ridiculous.
Do not buy from Avery Rowe, ever! Total rip off merchants. I am currently trying to get my money back through my bank. Check reviews before you buy and use a credit card or PayPal. Lesson learnt 🙄👊
