This company is a complete scam. They sell you “insurance” but you can’t find a single doctor who will actually accept it — even though their reps claim it’s part of the United PPO network. I wasted endless hours calling offices on their so-called directory, only to be flatly rejected every time.
Customer service is a joke. Reps refuse to provide real answers, bounce you around, and then disappear. Emails? Ignored. Phone calls? Useless scripts. They know full well this plan is unusable, yet they keep taking people’s money.
What they’re selling is not insurance — it’s a worthless piece of paper. Shameful, misleading, and borderline fraudulent. Stay away unless you want to burn your money and be stranded without medical care when you need it most.

Before the xray is done, azimuth denied the claim saying it is chronic and pre-existing issue. I am not sure before any xray is done, how azimuth knows for sure about the health issue of patient. I will recommend all the international patients to never opt for azimuth. They charged so much money for insurance and when it comes to patients care and support, they will deny your claim
After 60 days also, there is no update and calling the service representative, will give you nothing.
I recommend everyone not to choose azimuth so that you go through this kind of negative experience after paying so much money to azimuth

Their customer service, from my experience, is quite lacking. I haven't seen a personal name on any emails, just service@azimuthrisk, and I feel like I'm not talking to a real person. They respond promptly and business-like but with no helpful explanation or attempt to care about my situation.
Additionally, a recent complaint is that they raised their rates after I sent in the application but they didn't bother to tell me that they would charge me significantly more than I anticipated. It's supposed to be 3-5 business days to process an application, but they approved the policy immediately and charged my card without warning. Very inappropriate if you ask me!
Robbery in broad daylight they say acute on set of preexisting conditions are covered and then say not covered when the event arises
They are taking foreign visitors for a ride by charging exuberant amounts on insurance
They say even someone has a cut and go to emergency room it’s a preexisting condition
I did not use the insurance for any problem as i already have an international health insurance coverage nevertheless i was happy that i could purchase a travel insurance for the fime I was going to the caribbean, i felt really in peace knowing my family and i were covered and thank my agent for proposing this insurance
You guys make it fast en easy. Fortunately, I never stepped in a hospital.
Extremely disappointed with their lack of communication.
I filed a claim listing out the details of the treatments that the hospital conducted when I was unwell.
My claim was denied as a not covered pre-existing. However, they have not yet clarified what said pre-existing condition was. This was the first time a doctor provided a diagnosis of the specific condition.
The company has claimed that they have an appeals process, but in my experience the process has been more of a delaying tactic. For over a month I have not gotten any response to emails. And phone calls result in ‘your file is being reviewed’ as a response.
The whole time, I am sitting on $10k hospital bill.

I took a cover primarily for Antarctica. The website was accessible and fast; the process simple and the questions straight.
I had the policy in my mail in minutes.

What they did and what they are informing me of in this email is a total error and was not authorized by me or my husband, it seems to me a lack of respect that they make decisions for us, this is not authorizing, we are still waiting for the refund on what was charged without authorization and is not the due fee, the next one is due in September for $575.96. I don't know what this is about?

I would never recommend this insurance. They do not keep their promises and they find ways to deny your claims by citing "pre-existing conditions." It's more of scam than a real insurance company. Hospital sent me a bill that I can't afford after claim was denied by Azimuth.
