Late delivery, postage due, unmarked bottles!
I ordered bacteriostatic water from bacwatersupply.shop on Oct 1. The order shipped on Oct 6 and was "delivered" on Oct 14. The site states that orders ship within 1 business day and arrive in 2–5 business days, and that products are supplied as labeled sealed vials in original packaging.
What happened:
- The package arrived about 2 weeks later than the stated delivery window.
- It had insufficient postage, and I had to pay the post office $13.90 in postage due just to receive it (after paying full shipping charge to the website).
- The product arrived in an unmarked USPS box, with an unmarked black envelope with bottles with no label showing the product name, concentration, lot number or expiration date.
- The site says every batch is independently third-party tested, but they did not provide any test documentation or batch documentation.
I have contacted the company about this and they ignored my request to refund the extra shipping charge and violated their own return policy by stating:
"Your order was delivered. Every vial comes sealed with COAs upon request. We do not accept refunds for delivered products. You also cannot return sterile products to the company per our own and many basic compliance standards. It is a risk for the client base".
I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company.
I am posting this so other buyers know what to expect.
