I purchased a vehicle history report from BADVIN for my Challenger a couple of years ago. Recently I went back to access the report I already paid for and was told it had expired and that I would need to pay again to view it.

There was no clear indication at the time of purchase that access would be limited or expire. When you buy a report, you reasonably expect to be able to access what you paid for without having to repurchase it later.

This policy feels misleading and disappointing. I would recommend they make expiration terms much more transparent up front.

Lots of duplicate info from other sites, but some unavailable to the public and most are eye-opening! ONLY issue I have is that sometimes I pay for a Premium report, and get almost ZERO. Not quite what I expect and no consideration for refund from BADVIN. Despite that issue (rare), I will continue to be a loyal follower buying reports i BULK!

I've been buying reports for years. They have gone from person service when I have issues to very poor service and turn around. For example. I've paid for a report that did not load. sought help and got BOT answers. Problem was not resolved until the next day. Also, I have tried to access reports that I purchased and I was required to pay again.

Just sharing my experience just now with this service: I purchased the premium report (for three vehicles) for a vehicle I was considering buying. it stated 6 sales records and 72 pictures... except that it's 1 sales record and the same pictures repeated 3 times. Rip off and a waste of time.

I then entered the VIN numbers for four other vehicles I own just to see what information is out there... "Nothing Found" on all four, including a 2007 Porsche!

Incredible amount of information at a very decent price. Same info as Carfax but much cheaper. The Dealer Window Sticker was a real bonus. That alone was worth the price. Will get more reports based on this experience.

I found this we by google search and I found so many usefull information and mainly photos how wa the car damaged. This is realy usefull web and on top of this with physical people behind the web. They helped me with registration problem and solved it. I will use this web next time for sure! Thanks Petr

Put my own vin.# in on the BADVIN site. It said my car was bought at a car auction 5 years ago in California.
I bought it at Carmax 5 years ago in Maryland.

Wrong report - last four digits on correct report 1469 last four on wrong report 1259. Never using this service again. Did not enter the wrong code as I cut and pasted. Did 2nd pass with same C&P and the right car came up, but wanted another $10 to get the details.

Thorough report

BadVin is great because you get to use your reports over a full year at a very reasonable price. One of the main things I'm looking for is if the vehicle has ever had a salvage title or been a northern car with rust problems.

I purchased my vehicle in March 2023, the dealership printed a small Monroney sticker. I wanted more information so searched DuckDuckGo and found a Monroney sticker and vehicle history at BadVin. I am very pleased! I was able to print a full size Monroney for my Durango.

Bullsh!t website. These F@cker$ need to be shut down. The show my personal vehicle as a torn up vehicle with an image that is NOT even the same color and condition of my daily runner. I randomly cheeked for my VIN and found this garbage site. My advise = RUN, press the x on your browser from this heap of garbage.
