Great service
Bags to go are great, as I have no transport to take to charity shops, I like it as you can chose the charity you wish to donate to.
They are very efficient gave you updates on day and time arriving to collect,you don't even have to put bags outside if at home as they knock on door.
This is brilliant for me as I like donating when I get too much clutter, Thank you.

For someone without transport to have charity items collected is a great option.

If only everything in life was this easy!
This was my first time using Bag2charity and it was so simple. I had 4 bin liners full of boys clothes and shoes. More often than not charity shops are full at this time of year and can’t take donations. I work full time and weekends are busy. Being able to book a collection slot, print off a label and choose from the nine charities to donate too was so easy. Game changing in fact! I loved that they sent text reminders running up to the collection day.
This was such an easy way to donate and declutter. I will definitely use this charity again and having already begun spreading the word to friends and family. Thank you!

Extremely disappointing collection service
I’m honestly extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience with Bag2Charity. I had around seven bags of clothing, much of it brand new and unworn, that no longer fitted us, and instead of simply throwing everything away, I wanted to do something positive and donate it to charity so the clothes could hopefully be reused by someone who needs them. I took the time to arrange the collection, carefully prepared all the bags, clearly labelled them for the charity, and left them in the designated common and drop off area as instructed. I also provided clear instructions explaining where the driver could temporarily park, as delivery drivers regularly use exactly the same area when delivering parcels to our building. Our apartment complex is a large, tall and very clearly identifiable building, and the bags were literally less than a minute’s walk from the entrance. I was even tracking the collection because I wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. According to the collection information, the driver arrived but then apparently decided they could not find the postcode or location and left, stating “Can’t find post code take me to this place.” What is particularly frustrating is that I had already provided clear instructions, the bags were clearly labelled, and the driver didn’t even call me to ask for directions. If they had simply contacted me, I could have explained exactly where to go within seconds, walked outside to meet them, or even brought all seven bags directly to their vehicle. Instead, they left without collecting anything, and I had to bring all the bags back and put them outside the apartment again. I understand that genuine mistakes happen and that finding an unfamiliar building can sometimes be difficult, but what upset me most was the complete lack of effort to resolve the problem. I had taken time out of my day to organise this because I genuinely wanted to do something good rather than put perfectly usable clothes in the bin, and it is incredibly disheartening to go through all that preparation only for the collection to fail because the driver apparently could not make a simple phone call or walk a very short distance to the entrance. Now I have to spend more of my own time tomorrow taking seven bags of clothing to another charity myself. I don’t mind donating the clothes, that was always the intention, but I do mind having my time and effort wasted when I had followed the process and made everything as straightforward as possible. This experience has completely put me off using Bag2Charity again. I genuinely wanted to support a charity and do something environmentally and socially positive, but unfortunately the collection service made the whole experience unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend the service and I sincerely hope they look into how their drivers handle failed collections, because a little communication and willingness to help would have made all the difference.

We're genuinely sorry that on this occasion we didn't provide the reliable and convenient service we aim to offer, especially when you were making the effort to ensure good-quality clothing could be reused while supporting charity.
