Nous sommes désolés d’apprendre que vous avez été déçue et que votre expérience avec nos bougies n’a pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Avant de lancer Bahoma sur le marché, nous avons consacré plusieurs années à apprendre et à perfectionner notre savoir-faire - à étudier comment la cire, le parfum et la flamme interagissent. Nos bougies sont aujourd’hui commercialisées et appréciées depuis plus de 17 ans, durant lesquels des milliers d’entre elles ont été allumées aussi bien par nos clients que par notre propre équipe, dans des maisons, des boutiques et des espaces d’exposition.

Comme pour toute bougie, certains facteurs - tels que la longueur de la mèche, la ventilation ou la durée d’allumage en continu - peuvent influencer le comportement de la flamme. C’est pourquoi nous joignons toujours des recommandations précises afin d’aider nos clients à profiter du parfum et de la lumière en toute sécurité, sans effets indésirables.

Il est particulièrement important de respecter le temps de combustion continu conseillé et de surveiller la longueur de la mèche. Celle-ci ne devrait pas dépasser 5 à 7 mm, et il convient de la couper dès qu’elle devient plus longue, afin d’éviter toute fumée et de garantir une combustion propre et régulière. Nos bougies peuvent être appréciées pendant de longues heures lorsqu’elles sont entretenues de cette manière.

Il est vraiment dommage que vous ne nous ayez pas contactés directement lorsque vous avez constaté ce problème, car nous aurions volontiers examiné la situation avec vous pour comprendre ce qui a pu se passer. Nous apprécions sincèrement tous les retours - positifs comme négatifs - car ils nous permettent de continuer à perfectionner nos produits et à garantir leur sécurité et leur plaisir d’utilisation.

We are sorry to read that you were disappointed and that your experience with our candles did not meet expectations. Before launching Bahoma into the market, we spent several years developing and refining our craft - studying how wax, fragrance and flame interact. Our products have now been sold and loved for over 17 years, during which countless customers - as well as our own team - have burned thousands of our candles in homes, stores and display settings.

Every candle, regardless of brand, can react differently depending on factors such as wick length, ventilation, or the duration for which it is left burning. For this reason, we always include clear burning guidelines to help our customers enjoy the fragrance and flame safely and without unwanted effects.

It is very important to observe how long a candle is burned in one continuous session, and to ensure the wick is trimmed regularly. The ideal wick height is around 5–7mm, and trimming it as soon as it becomes longer helps prevent smoke and ensures a steady, clean burn. Candles can be enjoyed for many hours when this simple care is followed.

It is a great shame that you didn’t contact us directly when you noticed the issue, as we would have gladly reviewed the circumstances with you and helped identify what might have caused this behaviour. We truly appreciate all feedback - positive or negative - as it allows us to continue refining our products and ensuring they remain both safe and pleasurable to use.

Au moment de votre achat, nos coffrets cadeaux contenaient des produits de 250 ml, comme indiqué dans la description. Depuis, nous avons fait évoluer la gamme pour proposer également des 500 ml, tout en repensant notre architecture tarifaire afin d’offrir une valeur encore plus attractive sur l’ensemble de nos collections.

Concernant les frais de douane et de TVA, nous comprenons parfaitement votre frustration. Malheureusement, ces frais sont imposés par les autorités locales et les transporteurs, et ne dépendent pas de nous.

This is certainly not the standard we aim to deliver. Bahoma candles are carefully crafted using high quality waxes and fragrance oils, and they should provide a clean, enjoyable burn with a lasting scent.

We were very concerned to read your comments and are truly sorry to hear about your experience. Safety is of the highest importance to us, and all Bahoma candles are made in our London workshop from heat-resistant glass vessels that undergo thorough quality control before being filled. We have never received reports of glass breakage under normal burning conditions, which makes it difficult to understand what may have occurred here.

Unfortunately, as we have not been contacted directly and no order reference has been provided, we are unable to review the situation in detail. There are several external factors - such as excessive burning time without allowing the wax to cool, exposure to drafts, or the candle being placed on a cold or uneven surface - that can, in rare cases, cause glass stress. These are precisely the reasons why each product includes clear safety and burning guidelines.
