Don’t buy a Baltany watch from Ali Express
Following a youtube video i bought a baltany military quartz chrono watch on Ali Express website. The watch stopped working although it had only been used very occasionally and I think the solar battery is not holding a charge. The guarantee is for two years and the watch was 11 months old. I contacted Ali Express who have been awful. I have asked for the details of the company who sold the watch so I can contact them to deal with the problem and which they have refused to provide the details. I have numerous emails with Ali Express who requested an expert’s report and when I offered to take the watch to an expert of their choice they then refused to provide either an expert and then said they would not help any further.
I contacted Baltany Uk who would only help if it was sold by them.
The manufacturer’s advise on their website is to contact Baltany Support via email which I have done but it goes unanswered.
The answer is to not buy from Baltany as they refuse to help or honour their guarantee to customers if things go wrong.
Do not buy from Ali Express who are worse than useless and show their true colours when required to do some very basic service to their customers. There is lot to be said to using Amazon who I have found helpful when things go awry.
