I first completed the Barefoot Coaching Course 16 years ago and it changed my life dramatically, it started my journey of transformational discovery and development. I used the skills everyday at work and with family to amazing effect. Over the last year I have updated my skills and attended Barefoot sessions on CBT, Human Givens, Grief and Loss, Group Coaching and How to build a Coaching business. Barefoot offer excellent programmes that continue to delight me, the skills are instantly usable and powerful, I would highly recommend.

I was introduced to Barefoot by three of their alumni who were working as coaches at my workplace. They all said that the training was life-transforming. I then attended their course taster event and met Kim Morgan the founder and I was taken by her genuine passion to help train rounded coaches in a very supportive environment. The course did not disappoint, through the many opportunities to coach and be coached my life was transformed. I came out being ready to start working with clients to support their transformation and Barefoot was there every step of the way. they continue to offer relevant and effective continuous coaching development events that have added great value to my practice. One of the greatest gifts from the course is the wonderful alumni network of coaches that I am now a part of. The ICF accreditation and PG certificate option with Chester University are a great value add for those who want to be corporate-facing. It is very much like a family. I would recommend Barefoot to anyone who is looking to train as a coach.

Barefoot Coaching course literally changed my life, so now as a coach I can help change other peoples lives. This is not just a course, it's like being welcomed into a new family. The support and honesty are so professional but welcoming too. Barefoot changed my life. That’s not an understatement. I knew from the moment I walked into the room that I’d made a great decision. Not just the way the course is organised, the materials we received and what they teach but also to the amazing team of facilitators and coaches that were there training us and supporting us.

It was important to me that the course I chose was associated with a professional body (Barefoot is with ICF) but also that it has the PG certificate element as I wanted to get the stamp of approval from a university. The Barefoot team has supported me the whole way through the pg cert and for that I am grateful.

Honestly, it has been part of my ‘great awakening’ for my own self awareness and learning - I now run my own coaching and culture consulting business and couldn’t be happier.

Signing up with Barefoot for my coach training (their flagship PG Cert in Business and Personal Transformation Coaching) was the best decision I made in my coaching journey.

The programme was fantastic and so were the trainers. I felt confident of my coaching skills when I tried them on volunteer clients at the end of the program and they got phenomenal results. Getting my volunteer clients such results was important for me because I was setting myself up as a coach and needed confidence in my skills to put myself out there. The environment was supportive and the feedback genuine. It was not just a training program but a training program with lots of coaching woven into it. Kim, in particular, is a fantastic mentor, coach and leader.

I love everything about barefoot. Their ethos, approach, coaching and training is unique, friendly and valuable. Took my Barefoot Coaching Certificate 10 years ago and have to say it is one of the best training experiences I have ever had. Great balance between theory and practice. I have taken so many practical techniques away that I still use today. With Covid sending so many training providers online, I realised I had the entire world available when looking for my path towards PGCert and ICF coaching accreditation and having recently studied with Barefoot all the way from Australia, I couldn't be more happy with my choice and the outcome.

I was particularly looking for a training provider that subscribed to the ICF code of ethics and offered broad, research-based teaching, that's highly experiential and didn't constrain you to one single model or guru to coach the "right way".

I went to a few online introduction sessions and Barefoot was the only one that didn't try to sell themselves as the best transformational coaching providers; there was no hyperbole, just an incredibly strong level of integrity and clearly demonstrated value.

I completed the ICF accredited Business and Personal Coaching programme (162 hours), I cannot recommend it enough. It is a fantastic programme that combines theory and practice. The programme and those on my cohort helped me not only grow as a coach but also as a person. The tutors are brilliant and Barefoot are very supportive throughout the programme.

I recently followed the Barefoot coaching course, that paves the way for an ICF accreditation as it provides the requested 165 hours for ACTP. Great experience, excellent coaches, a very good balance between theory and practice, and a group of 14 peers that are still in close contact with monthly meetings and informal interactions, 4 months after our last session. Stronly recommended for anyone looking for the right coaching course.

Every learning experience & interaction I’ve had with the Barefoot Coaching team has been exceptional. They truly are experts in the world of coaching and they truly care for you as you learn and develop. I would recommend them to others and have done so many times.. the latest person being my husband who is starting the PG course soon!
