OVERPRICED!!!
Moved to San Antonio last year and the house we bought was perfect except the shower in the ensuite which was a 4'x4' shower stall. Called Bath Planet for an estimate just to replace the shower. Their young girl Jordan came to the house, very friendly but well trained in what to say. The estimate started at $43,000, then went down to $41,000 if we did 10 different marketing schemes for them. I'm not sure what planet they are on but $41,000 for a shower replacement is insane, when I wrote a review on their site, it was removed within the hour.... Not a company I will ever do business with!!!
As a customer
As a customer, I urge anyone looking to work with Bath Planet to find another contractor or company to work with. They use very shady/predatory sales and business tactics, have low skilled low craftsmanship subcontractors and product itself is cheap and of low quality.
Sales process:
* Price of project fluctuated rapidly as salesman better understood our budget. Started with a 30K+ quote and "he was able to find discounts" to lower cost down to 13K for us. Later was unable to itemize cost of individual items and work.
* Lied to use about financing options. Verbally asked if they financing was at 0% for 5 years as he stated, later come to find out that the 0% is only good for 2 years from the date you open the account, balloons to high interest after 24 months.
* Sold custom glass solution to meet our needs, later to find out "custom glass" is anything not warehoused by BP. Product given was a $500 Lowe's door but added 14K+ do our original quote.
Installation Process: (some across multiple days where we had to take off work)
* Install 1 - Driver left installer at our home until 1230am, installer did not speak english and unable to communicate with him. Power tools were being used in our driveway up until 11pm to cut walls and piping. Did not install correct unit.
* Install 2/Fix - Replaced walls correctly but shower head not secured to wall.
* Install 3 - Replace wall, shower head still not secured to wall and now wall is curved. Glass door does not reach wall and water leaks onto floor.
I reached out to advise we do not want any more of their contractors to work be in our home and BP offered us a measly $500 and then followed up with a $1200 credit (> 10% of project)
At this point we will be paying BP over 11K$ for essentially a removal of our bath tub as the shower itself needs to be redone. If we don't repay by July of next year that cost will jump to over 24K due to the interest rate.
Please do not work with Bath Planet.

A representative from Bath Planet came to my house to give me an estimate for a tub to shower. He asked if he was my first estimate. I said yes. I sat and listened to his sales pitch for THREE (3) hours. I should have known that he was going to turn up the pressure. And that he did. I told him that I wanted to get some other estimates. But he kept pressuring me. I refused to give him a deposit but I did sign the contract just to get him to leave. The very next day, I signed the cancellation statement and sent it back by certified mail. THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS of their contract states, "CANCELLATION: YOU MAY CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION WITHOUT PENALTY OR OBLIGATION WITHIN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE ABOVE DATE. IF YOU CANCEL ANY PROPERTY TRADED IN, ANY PAYMENTS MADE BY YOU UNDER THE CONTRACT OR SALE, AND ANY NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENT EXECUTED BY YOU WILL BE RETURNED WITHIN TEN (10) BUSINESS DAYS FOLLOWING RECEIPT BY BATH PLANET OF YOUR CANCELLATION NOTICE, AND SECURITIES INTEREST ARISING OUT OF THE TRANSACTIONS WILL BE CANCELED. TO CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION DELIVER A SIGNED AND DATED COPY OF THE CANCELLATION NOTICE IR ANY OTHER WRITTEN NOTICE,OR SEND A CERTIFIED LETTER TO BATH PLANET, 535 SUMMIT POINT DR., HENRIETTA NY 14467." NOT LATER THAN MIDNIGHT 02/05/24. I signed on a Friday and sent the contract back on a Saturday. They expected it back by Sunday, February 5th. That in itself is violation of the Federal Law. Sunday and Holidays are not considered business days. Needless to say, I spoke with an extremely rude female receptionist who told me that I would have to talk to the sales manager. I told her that I have documentation showing that I sent back the contract in a
timely manner. The sales manger left me a voicemail stating that the original representative would be coming to talk to me. The representative came to my house. (I did not let him in nor did I talk with him.) He stood outside ringing my doorbell, knocking on the door, and he tried calling. I declined his call. I not only blocked his call, but all the others related to Bath Planet. I have since contracted a different company who is nearly $2,000.00 less! AND the company has a much better reputation. Before considering Bath Planet read their reviews on the Better Business Bureau site.
Seven Months Later
Seven months, twenty days later. A three-day job that started the day after Mother's Day. And here we are still waiting for material. Starting with salesman, call BCI Acrylic three time to verify the measurements would work without having to do concrete work or remove vanity. Two days later, a contractor came out to remeasure to make sure everything was correct. We got a call for material in and set a date. The first was the shower pan was the wrong one and had to be re-ordered (three more weeks for that). But they went with the chiseling concrete out to make the pan fit work. Also, the concierge of BCI Acrylic called, they had to cut our marble vanity in half to fit the pan and would be replaced by them. Then there was the wall that wasn't measured correctly and that had to be ordered. Now the doors and the supports are too short for the walls, that is being reordered but never made it to the house. So, here's another issue for me (homeowner) to deal with three pipes coming out of the wall caped from the other sink and no floors tile for the missing vanity half.
BCI Acrylic has had eight months for damage control now. They have replaced the walls and shower doors in November 2023. The contactor left an overpowering smell from the adhesive used to anchor the walls and I had to use a third-party vendor to come to remove the odor at a cost of $849.76 to ozone the area after waiting from 12/8-15/23 for the company to do something about it. Now being bounce back and forth now on the vanity replacement.
Good Luck,
Houston, TX
I changed my mind the next morning and…
I changed my mind the next morning and called the corporate office. Now I got off the phone with them threatening to put a lean on my house
Scamers and crooks
They took a $10,000 deposit and haven't started construction on a bathroom remodel 6 months after contract was signed. Will not return emails or phone calls. They stole 10k and brining them to court is the only option left to get a deposit returned after zero work was done. Horrible. Crooks and scam artist. Stay far away.
Three day project took nine months to complete
We signed our contract in January 2023 and explained we were having company in May. “Oh, this is only a three day project“. Delays began with obtaining permit; wrong pan ordered due to incorrect measurement; wrong size door ordered & installed (3/4 size) that had to be reordered & replaced. Had to wait several more weeks for the installer to finish job he was on. Finished project in September 2023 - NINE months late! Do not recommend this company!!
I would like them to come out and…finish the project
I would like them to come out and finish the project they started. They got my money last March and here I am with a shower that has been torn apart for almost three months. Won't return my called so how am I going to get it done. I am ready to file a lawsuit. If anyone else is let me know

I had 4 bath companies come out for a free quote. This company was the most expensive, and use disgusting sales techniques too.
They quoted my wife $19K for a XL walk in shower with upgraded walls, and a shower rod.
No thank you.
AVOID THIS COMPANY
Seriously whatever you do, do NOT choose this company for your bathroom remodel. I have never dealt with customer service or installation of a project this unprofessional and honestly horrible. The sales pitch is very forceful, but they show great pictures of remodels and emphasize how they ensure it is done in one day. That is the main selling point. They do the measurements and set up an installation date for you, and promise it can get done soon. Then when they absolutely destroy your plumbing, completely mess up measurements so they have to come back and do it again, and have an incredibly rude installer fix your items and leave your house trashed, they have the audacity to say that they owe you nothing and we should be grateful that they fixed THEIR MISTAKES for no additional charge. They literally destroyed our plumbing, water pressure, and measured wrong so had to reinstall the panel. And then when we spent hours on the phone with them about this, they finally agree to fix it. But they will send out crotchety workers who will give you the run around about fixing it, and constantly need new repairmen to fix the issues. Then, even though you haven’t been able to use your shower (and sink) for weeks, they say they don’t owe you anything and will not adjust the price. This is the most insane company I have ever dealt with. Please, please, consider using an alternate company for your services. I am 12k in debt for a shower that doesn’t even look good, and dealing with a company who does not return your calls when you have a major customer service or installation issue.

The products are made in China and they peel off the wall. Unreal spent all this money and time and had to call another company to replace it because they didn't back up the warranty and blamed me for there mistakes!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME

walk-in shower…
We hired BP to install a walk-in shower as part of a larger bathroom remodeling project in 11/2022 - completed in 3/23. Just the facts:
Pros - we are pleased with the final shower product, but not pleased with the process at all.
Cons - although BP was fully aware of the nature of our entire bathroom remodeling project, unbeknownst to us, they initially installed a shower in 11/22 without pulling a permit! Since we could not move forward with the rest of our project, the shower had to be pulled out and a new one ordered, which was not installed until 3/2023. However, the ‘new’(?) shower installed was soooo dirty, with smudge marks and boot marks on all three walls as if someone walked on the walls! It was so bad that a ladder was needed to remove all of the smudge marks and we insisted that BP contractors return to clean the entire shower walls. But why they even felt that it was ok to install such a dirty product, after having to remove an initial shower due to their failure to pull a proper permit, is mind boggling! Finally, the BP contractors broke a glass picture frame and vent, though never reimbursed us!
Bottom line, is that the BP process was very disappointing and very concerning. But so far, the final product has been fine🤞. Just beware!
RUN do business elsewhere
Overall work was ok, bath planet of stl are nothing but crooks, DO NOT trust the salesman he will lie thur his teeth and promise the world, he will write it on a quote so you think it's fine and then puts what he want on the contract, and by the way the contract in nothing but a useless piece of paper, they took me to the tune of 23,700 dollars and I had to buy my self things that there lying salesman promised us, I have a few problems but I will not call them to repair, I will not even let them on my property, my advice is if bath planet of stl calls you RUN away as for as possible, crooks, liars, and should not be in business and trust me I tell everyone
We had Bath Planet put in a new shower…
We had Bath Planet put in a new shower to make it safer for us. We now have a beautiful shower we can not use. The floor is so slippery the rubber floor mat does not stick. At first I wasn't concerned because Bath Planet is a big company who will stand by their work. WRONG...I talked to Mike who gave me several suggestions including , scrubbing the floor and putting down sand strips. Nothing helped!! I am having another company come in and put a rough finish on the floor. This has been a great inconvenience.
I would give them a negative 1 if…
I would give them a negative 1 if possible. We waited and were misled from the beginning. Months went by before anything was ever installed and when it did get installed it looked like a 3rd grader did the job. We complained and months have went by with empty promises that it was going to be made right. Still holding my breath and we are now almost to a year waiting for a 13k remodel job. Horrible customer service and horrible install. We won't even show our family.
No pressure Shower replacement
My experience with Bath Planet was very positive
from the sales person to the installer who was very professional with exceptional skills and a passion for what he do.
Thanks a lot Mr. Terrell Tillis
LOSER LOSER OVER THE TOP EXPENSIVE
Guy came in with a suitcase. Showed him damage in bathroom. He showed us a power point presentation then filled in a quote on bath planet stationary - nothing about demolition timing etc. Just how much. Opened suitcase and showed us materials that could be used. Finished writing in numbers with just project cost and if we wanted to finance. None of it was remodeling that he said could be done. What a joke.
PLEASE READ
PLEASE READ. Possibly the WORST experience. Take the time to do your research on Bath Planet. Don’t be bamboozled by their salesperson, price, and false promises. This will not be a one day project and the crazy high amount of money will not ensure top quality product or a workmanlike experience, as we were told it would. I’ll try to make this succinct because there is so much. On day one of the project, no show from workers. Day 2, workers came and CRACKED a bathroom floor tile, which still hasn’t been replaced. Day 3, the project is still not done. Day 4, we’re told the project is “done,” though it wasn’t (there was no shower rod installed), and later that night the ENTIRE TUB LEAKS from the second floor onto the hardwood floors of the first floor (see photo) - this was due to a faulty bath drain stopper, inadequately testing the tub, and improper installation. They had to replace the drywall and ceiling downstairs in the kitchen and repaint. Day 5, a worker shows up unannounced/unscheduled with a RANDOM SHOWER ROD we didn’t agree to. The shower rod was not the same as contractually agreed upon due to a lack of proper measurements during initial meetings - we had to research what new rod would fit for them. Zero care and disregard for disrupting our personal schedule. Audaciously expected us to be at their disposal to accommodate them beyond the scope of the promised 1 day project. The quality of the bathroom itself is SUBPAR at best - we contested a blatantly obvious crooked “window kit,” unsmooth caulking, loose faucet, and paint damage to the bathroom ceiling, just to name a few. We had to request that they paint the bathroom ceiling as they argued it’s “standard [for them] to leave it that way.” The entire project took OVER 7 BUSINESS DAYS across the span of now three months. We haven’t heard from anyone in the company for almost two months, as they have stopped responding to our requests for them to complete the project. They were entirely uncaring and INVALIDATING when discussing a resolution to all of their faults and have threatened DEMAND FOR PAYMENT even though the job is not complete. Simply a money hungry business with extremely poor customer service and extremely poor bathroom quality. Do yourself a favor, save your money and look elsewhere. ANYONE would be better.
Terrible. Do not use
UPDATE - The owner visit the job and confirmed that the glass needed to be replaced. He replaced it with a much thicker glass, which works great. This was done within one week.
We spent $28,000 on one bath, one shower and 1 vanity. We were told the products that they used are the top of the line, but they are not. The glass shower door is so thin that it shakes when you barely touch it. We have complained to Bath Planet (using their sub name of Four Seasons Home Products), and they became angry with us and treated us as if we were in the wrong for not liking the cheap thin glass they installed. They are so nice when they want your business, but if you dare complain about the work they performed, you are treated like crap. This is from the lady who answers your phone call to the guy who came out to check out the complaint. This guy was so rude that my husband kicked him out of the house. What happened to the nice people who grinned when we gave them a $28,000 check. They are refusing to replace the shower doors with a high quality glass that they said their product was. We now have to find another company to give us the high quality that Bath Planet promised. DO NOT USE THEM.
