This is my third bear elite hybrid mattress, firm, my first two had the celliant infused topper this one does not, this current one is a 10/10 on the firmness scale it’s rock hard nothing at all like my first two which were firm as well and the site doesn’t state the celliant cover ads extra softness very disappointing as I would have chose that option

The shopping process was easy. Set-up was even easier! The technical descriptions, and what they do, really are true. It's important to me that the science behind the design choices are as important, if not more so, than the aesthetics and hype. I did my research and Bear did not disappoint. Will sleep again.

Very good communications with the company. Product is high quality and renders what it advertises. The accompanying mattress cover seems a bit beneath the standard of the mattress. Pillows are great though! Bed surface does seem a bit stiffer than expected for the level of firmness chosen.

After years of using a beloved extra soft pillow-top mattress, we realized our backs, hips, and shoulders were paying the price. We upgraded to the Bear Elite Hybrid, medium firmness, due to reviews and specs regarding spinal support. We have only been using it for a few months, but already waking up with much less pain.

I have osteoporosis in my lower back and stenosis, I could not sleep without pain. Although my mattress was old, getting a new mattress seem like a good idea. After research, bear seem to meet the needs I had for how I sleep. I now sleep without any pain pills or CBD cream. It’s been fantastic.

This is my third Bear mattress. Not because they’ve worn out, because my children and exes have all wanted to keep them. They are wonderful products. Expertly made, professionally designed and delivered. I have recommended Bear mattresses to several people. Their experiences have been just as excellent as mine. Great company, great products.

I have been pleasantly surprised that my Bear Elite Hybrid mattress does not hurt my pressure points while providing support to the rest of my body at the same time. This is a first for my and I've tried many mattress brands!

I've had my mattress for roughly a month and it did take some getting used to, but I am really starting to love it now. Fortunately, Bear clearly details that it can take around 30 days to get used to a new mattress and encourages you to stick it out, so I was prepared for this. Shipping was fast and delivered to the right place (often a problem where I live). I would definitely recommend them to others.

We had a great purchase experience. The beds are comfy and they work well for our needs.

We love our new mattress for our child. Its their 1st bid kid mattress so we did extensive research for the right firmness, a non toxic/hypoallergenic option that had a good price/product value. The bear cub fit out family perfectly with it being good for younger children but not rock hard so it uncomfortable for us too. We are very glad we chose the Bear cub

Love the mattress and frame/platform. My only issue is I really wish Bear also sold or at least recommended a headboard selection to go with the set. I just bought another mattress and bed elsewhere because Bear does not sell a headboard.

This was my first time buying a mattress through an online company, and I am so impressed. The delivery was seamless- no wasting a day hoping the delivery actually comes during a huge, inconvenient window. The optional service that removed my old mattress was so helpful. And the mattress...I can't believe how much better I felt after the first night! And it keeps getting better. This was a great purchase and I love getting into bed every night. For reference I am 46, a marathon runner, lift, and have two small children- as you can imagine, sleep quality is important because quantity isn't up to me.

Mattresses are fine, but our problem is with the free "sleep bundles" (sheet/pillowcase sets) included with each mattress. We ordered two Star Hybrid split king mattresses on Nov. 29th. for $2400. Mattresses arrived on Dec. 5th but our sleep bundles aren't set to arrive until Dec. 20th. So if you were counting on using the sleep bundles when you got the mattresses, no luck. You'll have to wait for the sleep bundles or get your own before they arrive. Note that most of their mattresses must be unboxed and unwrapped within three weeks per their website instructions. I contacted customer service asking for a price adjustment. They replied rather curtly that the sleep bundles are freebies and we won't adjust price for you. I challenged them on their policy of shipping the mattresses long before the sleep bundles, as it costs the customers extra expense if they want to start using the mattresses immediately. Our story is that we got our own sheet & pillowcase sets long before the sleep bundles arrived, because we wanted to use our mattresses asap.

I was very impressed with how affordable my Bear original mattress was as well as the use of health-conscious materials. Also, although the third-party company that offers discounts for hospital workers declined me, when I reached out to Bear directly with my info and documentation of being a hospital worker, they very kindly gave me the same discount which I very much appreciated. The mattress is firm and comfortable which is what I was looking for. I have been having some neck shoulder pain but think I need to research and look into what pillow I should be using with a firm mattress to help resolve that issue. Otherwise, I can tell I am not waking up during the night as much as I used to with my old pillow top mattress and that I am sleeping relatively well after nearly a month of sleeping on it.
