Scam..It was actually a good app. And sales could be made. And then suddenly she stopped. Although it is constantly being published and edited, there is no more profit. And only influencers push. This is not just my opinion, but also the opinion of many other people I know.

I just recently discovered this App, so far I have no regrets or negative feedback. I have made a few commission. So far my interaction with Customer Service was a good experience with prompt reply.

When I joined Benable, it said you could request payout after you earned $15. I’m up to $20 and I went to request payout and they have suddenly changed it to $80. At this rate that would take years. Don’t waste your time.

I dont know what people on Benable doing but its kinda sus. I mean I have 4 optimized badge and I didn’t even earn anything from it. So I don’t really know how it works. When I dont even have the optimized badge, I earn 2 cashback. So what’s the purpose of optimized badge? When I got nothing from it. I mean there’s no different from no badge. I hope you can fix the system. At least lower your cashout. I still want to believe its not a scam. But since I stuck? I can’t say anything no more

I’ve spent months carefully curating lists, optimizing my SEO, and driving traffic to Benable, only to discover the platform’s biggest and most frustrating flaw: the "Ghost Throttling" at the finish line.
The $80 Goalpost That Keeps Moving
Benable lures you in with an easy-to-use interface and "instant" affiliate approval. It feels great watching your commissions climb from $1 to $40. But as soon as you hit that $60–$70 range and start closing in on the ridiculously high $80 payout limit, everything stops.
It’s like someone flipped a switch. Traffic that was consistent for months suddenly vanishes. Commissions that were pending for weeks get "disapproved" for vague reasons. I’ve gone from earning several dollars a week to literal pennies the closer I get to actually being able to withdraw my money.
Why It’s a Waste of Time:
• Artificial Throttling: It feels heavily "gamified" to prevent you from ever reaching the $80 mark. They want your free labor and your curated content, but they don't want to actually pay out.
• The "Rakuten/Honey" Loophole: Benable will deny your commission if the buyer uses a browser extension like Honey or Rakuten. In 2025, everyone uses these. It’s a built-in excuse for them to keep your earnings.
• High Payout Minimum: Most reputable affiliate programs payout at $10 or $25. The $80 limit is clearly designed to keep funds sitting in Benable’s bank account rather than yours.
Bottom Line: Don’t be fooled by the "aesthetic" lists. You are essentially working for free to build their SEO. If you want to actually see the money you earn, stick to Amazon Associates or LTK. Benable is designed to make you quit right before you get paid.

I really enjoy using Benable! I enjoy sharing what I love, and I found some awesome travel and product recommendations through the platform! I also LOVE that we can earn when someone purchases something off our lists, and that the platform really encourages genuine reviews. I also really enjoy the community on there too :)

I've really been enjoying the app. It runs well on my phone and I haven't had any issues with the website. I was able to make a sale within the first 48 hours of posting a list when my list wasn't even optimized yet. They have a lot of pop-up help and tutorials to get your lists ready for SEO.

I’ve been using Benable for over three years since the days when they were web-only and I love it! It’s a great platform where I can put everything I recommend, from books to afternoon tea places I’ve visited. And I’ve also made money from commissions for people buying from my recommendations, which is an added bonus! I know there have been some growing pains as the platform has gotten bigger and as they added a mobile app (which has made my life so much easier), but I’ve had a positive experience with the team always very responsive towards any issue and receptive to all of the feedback that I provide.

Love Benable! It’s super simple to sign up and easy to get started sharing any and all recommendations. The lists make it easy to keep everything organized and I love looking for specialized lists. The commission is pretty decent too!

It's great that I can actually put people on my personal best products and help those that don't have much information about the products. And I also get more information on other products that I didn't know about and those that I know.

Where do I start?
I made over $1300 on Benable and when i requested for payout they put my account on hold and then banned my account for no good reason.
absolute scam of a platform for affiliates.They exploit your traffic and then ban you from their platform when it comes to paying you.

They're a total scam. Don't waste your time.

- No cookie duration details for any of the affiliate programs

- They lie saying they don't take a cut from the commission they get from the brands (when this is the very core of this business model)+ I have better % on reputable affiliate networks by working directly with some of the same brands.

- They set the min payout very high for a startup ($80)- higher than most serious aff networks- so they can avoid paying creators for as long as possible. They also get to keep all the $ in most cases since the creators will simply give up before reaching $80 and there's no way to request a payment before.

- When you're approaching the $80 however, they start to not report commissions anymore. Multiple confirmed sales through my links never showed up on my account. They 1000% do it on purpose.

- Sketchiest customer service ever! They try to gaslight you, straight up lie and eventually stop responding when they realise it doesn't work in their favour.

- This is even worse than modern day slavery, since they have thousands of creators making them money who will never get paid a single cent for their work. Class action lawsuit deserving level of scam.

I'm trying really hard to like Benable as I'm a content creator and I can see the pros... but the cons are bad:

The app (whether on phone or laptop) is very glitchy, the customer support is horrendous (the staff are unfamiliar with their own product and unable to answer simple troubleshooting questions) and it's a bit confusing at first... not as intuitive as other apps.

Hoping to change my review but these are my initial thoughts after 36 hours of my support emails going unanswered and the woman on support (name beginning with B) completely gas-lighting my question.
