I have just recently completed my level 3 SEND TA. My Tutors (Lisa Best and Gemma Parkinson) were absolutely incredible. They were so helpful, reassuring and understanding. I felt like I could always email or arrange a call if I needed something explaining or needed more reassurance. My EPA coach, Tracy-Lee Hall, was also fantastic and made me feel at ease before I had my EPA. I never felt rushed or like any question or worry I had was silly. I recently completed my Level 3 Be Ready course with SEN and passed with a Distinction!
I couldn't have done it without my amazing tutors, Kate Marsh and Kayleigh Malon. They guided me every step of the way throughout the course, always encouraging and supporting me.

I Just want to write a little bit of feedback from the experience I had with Kate and Stacey, my mentors on my level 3 TA course. Firstly when I was putting my portfolio together with Kate Marsh, I found her extremely professional, helpful and clearly knowledgeable, she was an incredible help. Then once I had finished my portfolio, I worked with Stacey Bebbington for my preparation for my professional discussion and my observation. I found this part of the course extremely daunting, with Stacey's support, guidance and patience I went from worried to confident and well prepared, finishing my course with a Distinction mark. I honestly would not have been able to do this without the unbelievable work from Kate and Stacey.

Learning as a mature student
I have been supported throughout and at time when it seems a little daunting there is always your mentor/ coach to offer advice and encouragement. I am a mature student who stared this journey aged 55 whilst working a full time job so I definitely was hesitant that I could achieve, but the programme is engaging and encouraging at all times and I have loved learning again. I feel more confident in myself that I am able to achieve and it has given me a greater vision of what I would like to achieve next. My skills coach Carrie is always at hand for a tip or question that needs answering. My mentor and school have been the most supportive with encouragement at all times. I would say to anyone it really is never too late to try something new even when it seems challenging. If anyone out there wants to start or continue to study please give it a go with #BeReady!

Recently completed modules for the SEND Early years. Would like to mention Hannah Perretta a fantastic skills coach who has consistently supported me in this journey of learning .Hannah has always believed in me whenever I have doubted myself and remained patient throughout the course .I am truly grateful for all of Hannah's constructive feedback and encouragement, it meant a lot. I would highly recommend Be ready group learning to everyone as it has given me the confidence to trust my own ideas and handle challenges without self - doubt holding me back.
