We moved on Wednesday 31st of October from Crystal Palace to Grantham (about 130 miles) , we had arranged for the packing service the afternoon before. They had turned up promptly on Tuesday , packed everything with great care and asked appropriate questions about eventual location and labelled boxes accordingly. Moving day they turned up at 8am loaded and ready to go by 10.30, we all left for Grantham to be there about three including lunch and us picking up the keys from estate agents. We were 30 minutes late they were waiting patiently for us, everything was moved in by 5.15 and we were left to catch our breath and marvel. Philip and Max (for there were only two of them, it just seemed more) had done everything with seeming ease and very good humour, their standard answer seemed to be “No problem” and it wasn’t. We would heartily and readily recommend this company to anyone. I should add that their price was way below their competitors, something in no way reflected in their service.

From the initial quote by Eva, to price adjustment and a last minute change of address but were accommodated by Ivelin and Lubo. We had been very impressed with the team upto this point.

However as the move day was due in a few days, it became apparent that we had not been given enough boxes to pack and we even used our own boxes and black bags. This was not a big deal until the move day came.

On the day, the team arrived on time and were friendly, but it also became apparent that for the work needed, the team was one or 2 people too short. We had asked for a furniture and re-assembly service. The supervisor was the only one who would working on this part of the work. To cut a long story short, the total time for the move which should have been done in 6-8 hours, took nearly 12 hours. This was also with the addtional comments that the boxes were too heavy, we had too much furniture and we should get rid of some of it. Moving is stressful enough without this added commentary throughout the day. We were told the computer and monitor and other furniture would be given protected wrapping to store them in, but no, nothing and some of it was left in the garage and had water damage. This was exhausting, but because the furniture re-assembley was taking so long, no boxes were moved upstairs. Not one. The fridge freezer was not left where we wanted in the kitchen but in the dining room as the supervisor did not want to take the door handles off. The wardrobes were a bit haphazardly placed.

On the plus side at least the 2 guys did fix in the washing machine.

From the office side, they underestimated what was needed in terms of packing materials and manpower, to the supervisor' condescending attitude and stupid commentary throughout the day which was unprofessional, this experience has turned us off and we would never use this company again. We even offered Ivelin the chance to talk about this but he has not called us back.

Word to the wise, double check everything and choose your movers carefully.

Update: 16/07/18 In response to the reply I would like to clarify a few things which are incorrect.

Thank you for the first line of your reply, but I notice you have not included any apology for your supervisor's conduct. To clear up the tips situation, I was not aware the extent of the bad manners until afterwards and was told all of what was said and happened afterwards. I was aware of some gripes but the extent it was was totally unprofessional. Hence I am furious.

On top of this I gave you 2 full weeks to get back in touch with me after letting you know on email and it was only when Checkatrade got in touch that you tried calling. I agree with you the packing of clothes in black bags was agreed, the reduction in manpower was left with you as we are not experts in this matter. We went with your judgement.

I appreciate you would ask where items are to be left but this was part of the problem with the supervisor. There is plenty of room in the kitchen, all it meant was taking off the handles of the fridge to get it through the door. Again very disappointing and the attitude of the supervisor needs to change.

Such fantastic service from start to finish. I am based in Cornwall but had to arrange the re-location of my near 90 year old mother from west London to Preston. It all started with a phone call. I explained the situation, that my elderly mother needed to move and for them to help pack her up. The gentleman was so helpful and arrange for Eva to go along and quote for this job. My mother was so impressed with her, she said she was so polite and even had the courtesy to take her shoes off. We received the quote which was very competitive.
Move day arrived so did 2 lovely young men (so my mother said) so so helpful and polite. No hitches at all and a job so professionally carried out that I would not hesitate to use their services again. Thank you all at Best London Removal you took a big worry off of our hands and looked after my mother and her property so well. You definitely are 5 Star.

I have used 3-4 removal companies before them and was astounded by how much better these guys are. Ivelin was super professional, replied to emails very quickly, patiently answered all of my questions on the phone, and was all round very reliable. Filip and Petko showed up 5 minutes early, and packed up my entire flat (I had not packed or cleared anything, the place was a mess as usual) and dismantled my furniture faster than I thought possible, loaded it, and put it all back together. They demonstrated a very high level of care for my belongings and made my moving day as easy as it could have been. I would highly recommend this company and intend to use them if I move again.

Great moving company. They are very responsive, gave us a quote practically immediately, and booking was easy. They gave us all the information we needed - what parking bays were needed, etc - and quote was exactly what we paid. The two guys showed up fairly early in the window provided, and were very courteous, respectful, quiet and just got straight to work.

They only had a couple of questions and worked very quickly and smoothly. Friendly and polite. Moving is always stressful but these guys were great and made it easy. They were very fast and efficient.. They disassembled furniture and put it back together very well, put everything where I asked them to and very were polite. Great service and I would definitely use them again.
