Ms. Trena Jackson was very professional, attentive and transparent I must say. She was very knowledgeable and what caught my attention the most is that when I would speak with her to get clarity, she "Listened to Understand, not to Respond" which made this Closing go smoothly as possible!!! I will recommend Ms. Trena Jackson to be your Loan Officer Extraordinaire!!!!!

0/10 would not recommend- my friend just closed on his house with this company and the whole process was a mess from beginning to end. Horrible communication, errors on paperwork, when it was time to get homeowners insurance they kept pushing back the closing date over 3 times and he was forced to change the insurance as well. They raised his deposit AND his mortgage rate 2 days before closing. He had to continually call and text them for them to even respond. Then finally on closing day they forgot to tell him to get a cashiers check for the payment. If u decide to still go with this company try to avoid working with Trina - Brittany and Angelika whole process took 3 and a half months

Well what can I say. These days people do anything for click and views. Better Lending is a horrible mis leading company. The so call owner of this company, Angelo Christian and his so called mortgage support specialist Andrea Fowler, gotta be the worse people I've encountered when it comes to doing professional business. Here are my quick facts on my experience dealing with them.
1) Andrea denied me my approval at first, because I didn't have the funds in my account. I explained to her the proper steps I was gonna do to get all funds dealing with this mortgage. She explained to me however I get it, it must sit in my account for 30days and they must know where it comes from. I had no issue with that but I didn't wanna wait 30 days.
2) I told the so call boss Angelo what my issue was, he said no problem just do a 45 day contract. We both relayed the message to Andrea to get the ball rolling. She agreed and gave me the approval letter.
3) I gave them everything they ask for paperwork wise. Not to mention my credit scores was perfect. I have long credit history with no negative impacts. I make well over the money for the home I was trying to purchase, but anyway fast Forward. I ask Andrea a round about how much money I needed in total to get the home. My down payment and closing cost with the insurance, she told me 52k. So I just rounded it out to 55k. to make sure, not to mention this lady says she have 20 plus years in this field. 3 weeks in here they coming with, I need reserve money. Which is 24k. Never not one time did they mention this at the beginning. My question is why. I was able to get the 24k gift. Now it's the last week B4 closing, we getting the insurances stuff together. No one on there end said nothing my flood insurance from the seller wasn't emailed on time. So I missed original closing date 4/9/24. So at this point, the only thing was holding me up was flood insurance. My closing date got pushed to the 12th. 3 days later. Here come the next lie from the so called boss Angelo on the day B4 the second closing. He calls and tell me I can't use 29k of my money because the 30 day period wasn't up. Which it was clearly up. That's why he agreed to give me a 45 day contract. Andrea gave me the approval letter. Then this dude come back and say I suppose to wait 30days then start the contract. So why would you give me a 45 day contract. This company has all kinds of excuses. Like I was at fault. But they said I missed closing on the 9th for the flood insurance didn't go through on time. Then these people adding there fee's which was up to additional 12 to 15k. So instead of me thinking max 55k it was 68k to close. Now let's back track I needed all money to be in my account for 30 days to get the approval. They already knew what I had and it wasn't 68k. So why did these people give me a approval from the start. The lady Andrea personally told me she quit after my situation but she kept emailing me from there business email. Lie after lie. This company is a disgrace for mortgage lending in my opinion. Angelo wants to do mis leading videos on YouTube for clicks. My 800+ credit scores, I felt like I didn't have no credit and was looking for a handout. Which definitely wasn't the case. You guys be careful out here with these online lenders. This company didn't deserve this 1 star but trust pilot wouldn't let me.

Trena, was very vested and made my first time buying experience a memorable one. She was upfront, honest and set realistic expectations. I’ve since referred friends and family. Thanks Trena you were amazing as well as professional.

I highly recommend better lending to anybody. Anand worked with me as he was very patient and help me through every step. It almost felt like he was family as the way he was helping me out. I definitely will say I didn't even think I'd get approved and he was able to help me get proof of more than what I expected and we were able to close under 30 days. Once again Anand thank you so much for everything you've done for me and my family.

My experience with Better Lending was a good one! My senior loan officer Trena was very attentive and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. She was present during closing time to troubleshoot any mishaps! I appreciate all the the constant communication and the professionalism as well. I would definitely recommend!

My loan officer was trena Jackson. & she was able to get me into my dream home & at a good interest rate considering how high rates are right now. If you decide to go through better Lending do yourself a favor & ask for Trena.

Adam from Better Lending helped us gain what seemed to be impossible. He guided us through every step of the refinance process and answered any and all of our questions and would keep informing us until we understood what was going on. He was on top of every flag and bump that we came across and knew exactly how to correct them. A couple different times I had called the main offices and every time a friendly and knowledgeable person answered and helped me through. From what I have experienced with Better Lending, they have the most knowledgeable and helpful staff I have ever worked with. There were times my husband and I would be very worried about something or even ready to give up. Every time though, Adam made sure to listen to our concerns and ensure us that there was no need to worry and that he was taking care of it and he sure did even while he was being impacted by Hurricane Ian. Thank you Better Lending and thank you Adam for all of your patience, guidance, and success.

This was a great experience my loan officer, Adam McCormick was amazing!!! He walked me through the entire process and explained every step. He always responded to my calls and emails no matter the time. Answers to all my questions were met in a timely manner. I would recommend Better Lending for your mortgage needs anytime. I got a decent rate and am completely satisfied.

I worked with Mr. Jeremy Crooks now for 2 different loans and one refinance. Not only is he professional, transparent, and responsive (even on his days off) but he got my loans approved and closed when several other lenders told me it would never happen. Everyone at Better Lending was a dream to work with and made the stress of loans and buying a home a breeze. I can not recommend this company or Mr. Crooks enough. TRUST in him/them.
