As a woman in menopause whose voice has become a little less stable, this tool is so helpful! I sing with several choirs, am in a band and I teach voice as well and this is so much better than the straw exercises we have all used. After warming up with it, I sang through one of my songs and my voice was stronger and placement was a no brainer. I cannot recommend this enough.

I am pushing 70. Have sung most of my life. Over the last 20 years, overuse and aging made my voice feel brittle. I described it like the cracked reed of an oboe. When my neighbor started a choir and orchestra I really wanted to support him and joined, but remained so discouraged by my weak voice. The Vocal Trainer was the best investment I ever made. Through short sessions of simple exercises I have regained much of my range, as well as my confidence. Really! I’m so grateful that music is a part of my life again!! Thank you, Vocal Trainer!! I'm 64. I began singing in public 7 years ago. I am currently in 4 bands. Two cover bands, a Big Band and a Duo. I practice a total of8.5 hrs a weeks with 3 of the bands. The Duo is 1.5 hrs every two or three weeks. Gigs are generally 3 hours, singing 36 or so songs.

Recently I have had back to back gigs with both cover bands and you are always wondering how your voice will be the next day.

I purchased my Better Voice over a year ago and although I did use it a little I was reluctant to use it when I had a long rehearsal or gig coming up. When I did use it for short periods of time I did notice an apparent change in my tone and I wasn't sure it was what I was looking for.

A couple of weeks ago I did a 3 hr gig with my duo, mostly lay back ballad type songs but also some spirited songs that required a fair effort. The next day I had a 3hr gig with my high energy rock band where there are lots of vocally challenging songs. i.e Radar Love, Better by The Screaming Jets. The following day I had a dozen songs with the Big Band and I knew my voice needed cleaning up.

So I bit the bullet and used the Better Voice significantly, scales, sirens, anything I could think of. I did start off a little husky, in tune but with a certain thickness to my voice. I used the Better Voice in Between songs and I felt a confidence that my voice was going to be fine for the day. When we got to Mustang Sally, my voice was as good as any day. Almost certain that would not have been the case if I decided not to take the chance.

This weekend I sand for two and a quarter hours with a 15 mintue break. The following day the gig was 4.5 hours at a wedding. No issues and not using the Better Voice. But today I had another 3 hr gig, 36 songs and this morning my voice was not completely under control.

So I grabbed the Better Voice and just smashed all different vocal approaches. I wasn't sure I could handle the 3 hours without exposing imperfections etc.

I had also gone to gargling hot salt water and Manuka honey.

We started at 2pm and I was careful with the first couple fo songs but they went well. I had the band bypass When the War if Over by Cold Chisel and Wicked Game by Chris Isaac as I was not confident I could hit all the notes cleanly.

Bear in mind I was using the Better Voice a lot prior to the gig and also between songs.

Two thirds into the first set I was confident I could return to the songs I skipped over and hit all the songs cleanly.

I also had no trouble with Never Tear Us Apart by INXS in the second set.

I continued to use the Better Voice between songs and I know that it assisted me sounding clear and strong for the entire 3hr gig.

I did not instantly fall in love with The Better Voice. I barely used it for the first year. But when the chips were down and I knew I might be found wanting, I threw caution to the wind and put my trust in Better Voice.

It did not disappoint.

The device did break off the necklace pretty early on, but I just put it in my pocket.

I just have to remember which one lol.

I didn't get paid to write this War and Peace review but maybe I should have. I think its a down to earth opinion on a product out there that can assist vocalists at any level.

Every singer amateur or professional should have this piece of kit, it is a game changer for your voice.

Purchasing this little tool has been one of my best investments this year! Some folks have argued to just use straws and you'll get the same effect! WRONG!!! If you want a better voice, this is a excellent investment, and this is not a paid endorsement!!! Performed this evening, and many folks complimented me on how much better my voice sounds! This tool gets an A+ from me!

As a career singer, I find that i need more warm up vocal time than I used to. This product is a must have to fit what I need for this time in my singing career and it’s so compact and convenient to travel with!!

I make my entire living as a singer and this tool is essential for vocal health, strength, increasing tone in the low end, having a rounder less forced sound in "belt" or chest voice" and increasing and easing high range as well as smoothing the passaggio (break. With so many singers in my family and social circle, I've now purchased many vocal trainers as gifts and everyone says the same thing - they hear improvement in less than a week. My voice teacher, Laryngologist at a leading teaching hospital and voice pathologist all recommend this over the use of straws. Great product 10/10!

Singing or speaking, this little device gives a surprising advantage. After just a few days, my singing voice feels and sounds stronger with less effort. I recommend it for anyone in a speaking role and especially singers. Ordering was super easy and it arrived quickly. Their website is easy to navigate and has videos with tips and instruction.

I got my trainer quickly. Works as advertised but I love that it comes with a small minimalistic carrying case. It travels well and I can practice anytime.

I waited a while since I received my order … just to test it out before I reviewed it. And I can say that I still have more digging in the videos and tutorials, but even just early use of the Vocal Trainer made a noticeable difference!

I typically use it on my drive home, sirens and scales mostly. On those nights, I can tell that my range is increased, as well as my vocal power and precision. Which leads to more confidence and so on. On the nights where I have not used the product, I can feel more strain, a tighter voice, less range and less flow to my voice. So it’s a definite worthwhile tool for me!

I’d also like to address something I had seen negative reviews about. I ordered it and expected weeks for it to come in and a veritable lack of customer support, based on some prior reviews. But I ordered anyway. I placed my order, the product arrived within about a week and I also received welcome emails with links to tutorials and other tools. Exactly the opposite that had been stated! So again, happy with this aspect of the product.

Two months later, I still get emails when they release new video lessons and feel like I still have lots of room to grow with the Vocal Trainer. I’m very glad I purchased it!

I have been struggling vocally for the past 7 months. I'm not sure if it's an allergy and/or vocal fatigue. I started utilizing the "Better Voice" as soon as it arrived, about 5 days ago. Both yesterday and today, my concerts seemed to go easier, with less strain. Today, I sang, "Unchained Melody" in its original key for the first time in quite a while. And, I nailed it! It's still, "early in the game". But I think something great is going on.

I love it. Really works!

I love this thing. It eliminates lip or tongue rolls. It eliminates water and a straw. It's very quiet and allows you to warm up without everyone around you being chuckling at your techniques. Also, I have a vocal cord condition (Sulcus Vocalis) and this tool helps me warm up and train to hit higher notes without putting undue strain on my vocal cords. I purchased another one shortly after the first, and have one with me most of the time.

A non-professional singer for 50 years (weddings, funerals, church) At age 60 my voice became strained, easily fatigued & loss of range. Struggled for 18 years.
