Being a member of BeYourOwn has been eye opening for me. Seeing how other people grow and succeed in their businesses is not just inspirational, there you will meet other women who can guide you along to take those same steps yourself. As someone who frequently gets caught up working in my business rather than on it, I have found booking myself into the in person meetings particularly valuable.

The groups that Samanah curates with Be Your Own have been full of the most supportive and kind women. I've found it difficult to find a female focused group where I can have serious conversations about business so this really stood out to me. The conversations, the support and the friendships have been something that I've valued highly both personally and professionally. Highly recommend.

I was a member, briefly, about three years ago. I cancelled (that was an utter faff and took *months* and repeated emails to action (very agressive sales tactics on their part). Imagine my shock when, last week, £185 was taken from my bank account! I was reimbursed a few hours later, but no email explaining and no apology. They clearly made a mistake, and thought I wouldn't notice?! Trying to find an email address on the website; no luck so far! Don't go near this shady business!

Do you think you should have emailed me at the time to tell me that you had made a pretty huge mistake? Rather than just ignore it? There is no email address on your website which doesn't make for a great user experience. I deleted all your emails some time ago due to the sheer number I was receiving (I think I might have blocked you in the end). So I didn't know your email address. Some time ago I asked you to remove all my data from your system which you clearly didn't do because you still had my bank details. This breaking of GDPR law seems to be a common theme.

I was excited to be advised that I had been ‘recommended’ by an existing member to join this networking group. On joining I scanned the list, but couldn’t find anyone I knew. I have asked who recommended me, but can’t be told who it was. I feel I was therefore mislead.
I attended two events that were quite an investment but, personally, didn’t get out of them what I had hoped. I had concluded that this network, although works for some people, was not for me.

I then lost track of time and realised that I had been auto renewed. I have raised this point to the membership office and to Samanah, but no one from the office would call to discuss it with me. I have requested a refund and this has not been forthcoming - as per the other people in these reviews- I feel my request has been ignored and somewhat ghosted behind their Ts and Cs and member dashboard etc .
In my opinion this is not a good way to do business; to advise somebody that you are taking £245 out of their bank account should be a courtesy. I feel this is a very poor way to conduct business and has left a bad impression as to how the network is run.

This company for two years has taken my money without consent and bombards me with emails despite me unsubscribing and direclty emailing to ask to be removed. The owner Samanahs attitude is absolutely disgraceful, she is rude, nasty and an embarrasment to women in business.

Sadly I have to give this membership organisation a 1 star review after they took money from me for another year of membership but without any prior warning at all.

There was no email, or heads up that my money would be taken and the first I knew of it was a receipt received via email. I replied to the email the same day asking them if I'd missed the notice that my membership was even up for renewal, and they told me I had signed up to automatic renewal and that it was my fault I hadn't changed the settings for renewal, in my online dashboard through their website. I might add, I never even used the online dashboard and sadly didn't make enough use of my membership at all which is initially why I hadn't anticipated renewing.

I'm certain there is value from this membership community for the right people, but the way they took my money without any warning and then refused me a refund felt totally immoral and quite unprofessional - not the way to do business.

I have received their newsletters on several occasions now, which I have never signed up to. There is no link to unsubscribe which does not comply with UK regulations. Should I continue to receive further newsletters I will file a report to ICO.

I emailed after being added to their mailing list to ask for confirmation that I had signed up for their mailing list as I had previously received an email asking if I wanted to join their membership group but I had replied that this was not something I was looking for. I did not receive a response. Since then I have received another email from their mailing list. I tried messaging on Instagram and they have stated that as I have unsubscribed the investigation is closed from their side and that I must refrain from messing them now despite never showing me proof that I signed up in the first place. I suspect that after their first email to me, they added me without consent to their mailing list. The way this has been handled has made me very wary of how they handle issues.

It has been an invaluable experience so far to be part of BEYOUROWN inner circle members. I have met so many inspiring women in various line of work but all with strong passion. I look forward to attending more events in the coming year.

I was very fortunate to be invited to a BEYOUROWN luncheon by a friend in the summer, and was met by Samanah, a truly beautiful and inspiring lady. I was blown away by the diversity of the women who are part of this community, they are just phenomenal, unique and rather amazing, all with their own story to tell…

Absolutely love being part of this community. I really like diversity. It's so nice to meetvwomen from a variety of industries, doesn't normally happen as any membership I was part of in the past was always scewed towards one or another industry. The content is fantastic, great quality. The meetvups online and in person really give you a community feel. Honestly it's everything that I need right now and more. Love it!

So glad I joined this group nearly a year ago now. There are a lot of networking groups out there for women in business however this one is different because of the quality of business women supporting one another, the resources available and of course the face to face events too. It's got it all!

I love everything about BEYOUROWN ladies private networking. The constant support and growth tools that are easily available in the members area, the fabulous lunches with great speakers who are inspiring and thought provoking. The empowering relationships that are growing with the nembers who always have your back. The fun, the laughter, and the collaborations that are evolving and thriving each day.

If you are a woman in business BEYOUROWN is the most empowering network I have experienced... it is worth a visit!

It's refreshing in today's marketplace that a serial entrepreneur like Samanah Duran graciously shares the endless resources she has developed during her remarkable entrepreneurial journey. BEYOUROWN truly provides quantifiable growth to all of its members.

I have been a member now for around a year and this community and group of women led by Samanah the founder and her team is supportive, encouraging, educational with a big open heart. There is also no pressure to engage if you cannot, but when you do it is always with kindness and consideration. I haven't attended a face to face meetup yet (attended a zoom one which was brilliant.) This is truly an inspirational group of women in business, sharing knowledge, ideas and making collaborations happen in the sometimes lonely world of entrepreneurship. Thank you Samanah for creating this amazing community.
