Do NOT buy from this appalling company. Ordered with a 4 week delivery. Received one email to acknowledge then nothing since. 4 weeks came and went with no contact. Called them. Apologetic, claimed items were "in the country" and they would call back. Nothing. 6 weeks came and went. Called them. More apologies. Another assurance that the items were here. Another promised call back. Nothing. Now well over 2 months has been and gone without the courtesy of another email and no calls back. Summer has been and gone so the items are useless. Now they're not even answering the phone so I've had to do credit card chargeback. And they're still advertising the same items with immediate delivery on their website! Absolute shower of wipes!

I purchased a £550 garden furniture set in May after being promised a 4-week delivery. The delivery date was extremely important because I knew I would be travelling for an extended summer holiday. Before placing the order, I specifically called to confirm that the delivery timeframe was realistic, and I was reassured that it was.
It has now been over 6 weeks, and I haven't received a single one of the five pieces I ordered. Even more disappointing is the complete lack of communication. Nobody has contacted me to explain the delay—not a phone call, email, or update of any kind.
I had to chase them myself last week, only to be told that the furniture hadn't even been dispatched from Italy. I specifically asked to be notified once it was dispatched so I could decide whether I still wanted to keep the order given my travel plans. Once again, no one bothered to contact me.
Today I had to call again because I still hadn't heard anything. This time I was told the furniture has now been dispatched. It would have been nice if someone had actually informed me, as requested. To make matters worse, they are only hoping the furniture will arrive within the next two weeks, with no guarantee whatsoever.
For an order worth £550, I expected far better customer service and communication. A simple "sorry" is not enough when customers are left completely in the dark and have to do all the chasing themselves. If you know there are delays, communicate them proactively instead of making customers repeatedly contact you for updates.
This experience has been unprofessional from start to finish, and I would not recommend this company based on its poor customer service, lack of communication, and failure to deliver on the promised timescale.

Awful , I bought a table and chairs online . Got a nice email saying it would be 3 week , thought ok . 4 weeks later nothing . Then when I called they said they had half of it and I might have to wait 3 week for the other half . They said they would phone me back .. guess what . Didn’t bother . When I phoned them back they said they would send it out ASAP . guess what . NOTHING . Really bad service . Wouldn’t buy from them again.

Extremely helpful staff in store, we ordered a new sofa there was a good range to choose from at good prices for excellent quality furniture! So many quirky and different items in the shop. Delivery went smoothly , they protected my new carpet!! again friendly staff. Highly recommend!!

Very, very patient and helpful staff. Moved to a new house which I was renovating so unsure of space, took my floor plan in and got lots of help and advice. Delivery was fantastic, came earlier than expected. Drivers were amazing, nothing too much trouble, pleasant, respectful of my property and careful with sofa. Did everything needed to enable me to just sit and relax on it once they’d gone. Beautiful sofa and snuggle chair and a very pleasant experience with the company from start to finish. Would 100% recommend

I love this store ,lovely furniture nice to see something different from the big chain stores .I brought the table before Christmas then went back for chairs on Friday very friendly helpful staff prompt delivery at a very reasonable price .Very happy with my purchases.

Friendly and not pushy. Some great items for sale with competitive prices. Will definitely return to.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Exactly the same furniture & better customer service from places like Freemans, Oak Furniture and Choice Furniture online.

Update 14/01/26 - They are now refusing to arrange collection on a weekend and are in breach of their obligations under Section 20 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Avoid this company – extremely poor service and no accountability
I strongly advise others to stay away from this company.
My sofa was delivered damaged, and the damage was reported immediately. Despite this, no repair or replacement was offered within a reasonable timeframe, and I was left waiting for around seven weeks with no meaningful communication or resolution.
Rather than addressing the actual problem, the company repeatedly focused on arguing over wording and minimising the defect, instead of taking responsibility for delivering damaged goods. There was no practical effort to resolve the situation, just back-and-forth emails disputing semantics while the issue remained unresolved.
I attempted to resolve things reasonably and in good faith, including proposing a fair compromise. This was dismissed without any constructive counteroffer, and the company showed no willingness to negotiate or take ownership of the situation. The handling of the matter caused significant stress and frustration and felt deliberately drawn out rather than prioritised.
Being a small business is not an excuse for this level of service. If anything, it makes the lack of care and professionalism more disappointing.
This entire situation was completely avoidable had the company dealt with the damaged delivery promptly and professionally. I will never purchase from them again and will be warning others to think very carefully before doing so.

If you value clear communication, accountability, and fair treatment when things go wrong, I would look elsewhere.

Excellent customer service with staff who know about the stock they sell. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely to see an independent retailer flourishing in Norwich.

Very good products but after care and touch points are very poor

Half my order is missing. I’ve called the company. They haven’t got back to me. First time ordering from here and won’t be doing it again. Will now have to look at getting my credit card to dispute the transaction as they do not seem to be looking into the missing table

From store to delivery the quality of service was exceptional from BF Home. Delighted with our sofas

They have lovely furniture and lots of choice. The staff are friendly and helpful before you buy. Once you buy there Customer service is not good with little to no response to problems . Sadly Will not be returning .

Cannot honour lead times. To reliant on suppliers.
Poor communication and no offer of compensation after having to wait another 6 weeks after lead time for furniture.
Offered money back for a piece of furniture that was bought as a matching piece. Senseless offer.

Absolutely over the moon with our Sofa and Snuggle chair!!
We chose the Frida, which was a hard decision when the store has the most incredible variety of sofas to choose from.
The gentleman who assisted us was very knowledgeable and made the experience enjoyable and pain free (especially for my partner)!
Service was great start to finish, and came well within the time that we was quoted. Thank you bf Home!
