They were delivered promptly , well packaged n the delivery driver was very helpful n put them in the porch for me , thank you Sean.
They burn well I ordered the briquettes the first time then the kiln dried logs and the briquettes the second time . I use them on a huge villager A log burner n they last quite a long time if I remember to shut it down !
I would definitely recommend and I will be ordering again very soon .

The wood wool firelighters are well made, work brilliantly, and came exceptionally well-packaged and very quickly. I have ordered these previously - this alone shows I must be happy. All good

The company changes the quality of their charcoal products randomly while still ascertaining the same guarantees which are practically false with the "newer updated" products.

They've changed their 25mm cocoshell shisha cubes to a new poorer quality called "cocoglow 26mm" which is not only a smaller pack but performs awful.

Contrary to the false claims/guarantees on the box, it produces heavy, toxic and smelly odours, excessive ash, does not get hot enough (keeps turning black unless you keep flipping them), and gives off a horrible aftertaste of coal/chemicals which was not the case with their previous 25mm 72 pack cocoshell cubes!

Your shisha coal was the purest and most reliable in the market for years, now you've ruined it in an attempt to cut costs not realising you'll lose alot of customers in the industry. What a shame.

That being said Nicola is a star of an employee and offers great customer service.

Misleading advertising practices. Purchase multiple bags of firewood listed as "Weight: 8-8.5kg". Every bag arrives under 7kg, under-shipping by 15%+

Customer services claiming this isn't actually the product weight but some other metric, totally unapologetic and not understanding.

I've made reviews in the past but as we all know, over the years, things can change, well for this company, it hasn't, it's still fantastic and we love it.
The lump wood is big, not tones of crumbs like in the shops. The prices are cheap but not any of the products. Delivery is quick. I couldn't ask for a better company, which is why we have been ordering from them since Covid.

Incredibly quick delivery.

I placed an order for 2x 15kg bags of ACH charcoal at 11.15am on Wednesday and they were delivered before 2pm the following day. Absolutely fantastic service. Even threw in a box of wax woodies for free.

Always the best quality coal for the price & that’s some very impressive service.

We’ve recently purchased kiln dried logs for our stove. Best wood ever bought, virtually smoke free, long burning and quick to ignite. Arrived in 48 hours of order placement. Well done Big K

I bought the 1kg insence burner cube charcoal recently and I’m very disappointed. I’m trying to light it up an hour now and it’s impossible. 12.99 went to the bin. Not recommended.

Used Big K a number of times now. Direct from the website and I also purchase their products via other resellers. I mainly use their products for my Kamado Grill. On the whole, the products and quality are good, but when there is a problem I find customer service is outright poor! On 3rd Feb I send an email about receiving my cedar plank (for cooking fish, a £10 item) in poor condition. It was split right down the middle and clearly packed by them in this condition! Nicola from customer services advises they have contacted the manufacturer with my pictures and awaiting feedback. I challenged Nicola as to why they were not dealing with this, my contract is with them as the supplier. The response was simply ‘this is how they received it’. So why did they then send a split wood plank to me, the customer!? On 10th Feb still nothing, so again I chased. I was then advised they were arranging collection, but only upon receipt back to them would they refund me. Overall just a joke and a waste of time, but if you don’t chase them they will not update you. I avoid using them direct now and purchase via other resellers or Amazon for their products, I know other places will have a much better customer service team.
