Lovley atmosphere but travelled far to flavour less samosa’s, very bland for a south Asian palate. Also please note there is no toilet facilities on premises. ( I was told they had been prohibited by H&S near their kitchen facility!) I was told as a Muslim to pop into the Britannia pub opposite.

We visited Big Mum Samosa’s today and the samosas were absolutely delicious. Fresh, full of flavour and clearly made with care. The service was also excellent, friendly, welcoming and efficient from start to finish. A great local spot and definitely somewhere we would happily recommend.

My experience on big mums samosas
My experience on big mums samosas. Ordered them just to see what the hype is about and if they are actually tasty so would order again. The only plus point for me was the box they arrived in. The pastry is awful, falling apart. The veg ones had a slight kick but the rest of the taste was very mediocre. The lamb ones felt like I swallowed a cup of oil. Very over priced for what you get. Iv had better free ones at Indian weddings. No sauces or chutneys come with it, you can’t eat them there and then as they come cold. Sorry not for me

Disappointing
We ordered the veggie and lamb boxes of 5. The lamb ones were incredibly dry and bland - no taste whatsoever just a bit oily. As for the vegetarian ones, they weren’t bad but I’ll be honest I’ve had better. The most troubling part is how small the samosas were! Not very impressed, which is a shame as I was excited to try.

Utterly delicious !
Utterly delicious, we visited Richmond for the day and walking down the cutest lane off the high street and discovered Big Mums Samosas. Honestly I would travel to Richmond again just to eat these, delicious, thin and crispy, filled with chicken tikka, or spicy lamb, paneer and much more !! super friendly staff, high class, 10 out of 10 !

The worse place you can buy samosas from. Tasteless, waste of money, ordering expensive is terrible and the service received is useless. Do not waste your money here

Terrible and tasteless
Ordered some samosa s for a special day was really looking forward to eating them, unfortunately the samosas had no flavour were completely tasteless and although the boxes show them with chutneys we had no chutneys as they are now charging for chutneys, this is misleading and to be honest not worth the effort in buying again.

Regarding the chutneys, we’d like to clarify that this is clearly stated on our website prior to ordering that chutneys are not included and are available to purchase separately. That said, we appreciate your comments and understand how this may have been disappointing.

Looked forward to this treat but was disappointed not by looks or delivery and packaging but by there was no taste to them, it felt like the filling was just potato and possibly turnip with some pepper.
Won’t be buying again.
Just had a reply from big mum samosas almost a year and a half late! Pretty pointless to do a review, I had forgotten I had wrote it🙁
