Big Tuna Removals Plymouth Reviews

Moving is often described as one of the most stressful experiences in life, but thanks to Big Tuna Removals, our moving day was anything but stressful. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, professional, and surprisingly enjoyable.

On the day of the move, temperatures soared into the high twenties, but that didn’t slow the team down one bit. They worked tirelessly all day with a level of dedication and energy that was truly impressive. Every team member was professional, efficient, and incredibly accommodating to all of our needs — nothing was too much trouble.

What really stood out was how friendly and personable the team were. They brought such a positive vibe to the day, making the whole experience feel more like spending time with friends than going through a major life event. Our 8-year-old daughter absolutely adored them — by the end of the day, she’d made three new best friends!

The initial consultations and surveys were also spot-on, helping us feel well-prepared and confident going into the move. And to top it all off, the price was very competitive, offering fantastic value for the level of service we received.

We can’t recommend Big Tuna Removals highly enough — they made what should have been a stressful day into an absolute breeze. If you’re planning a move, don’t think twice. These are the people you want by your side.

If you want a total professional removal company I would totally recommend Big Tuna Removals. This the 4th time I've used them and I have been blown away with the friendliness and professionalism and curtesy of all the staff.
Thank you again to James and all the staff.
I will be recomending Big Tuna Removals to everyone I know.

We've moved a lot in our lives; now retired, we were dreading this one but I cannot describe how AWESOME these guys were. They went above and beyond anything we've experienced before. They were great fun but incredibly hard working. The house and furniture was looked after and everything protected - even us as they wouldn't let us carry anything heavy.
Wonderful experience!!!

This is the second time we have used James and the Big Tuna team to help us move house and would use them again in a heartbeat! The team are incredibly quick, professional and nothing is too much bother for them. I would recommend Big Tuna to anyone moving home!

Absolutely over the moon with Big Tuna, will recommend to everyone. After being let down by others, James and his team were a breeze - reliable and professional, from the very first interaction. James stood out as someone who genuinely cares, providing detailed and helpful information to make packing so much easier. Communication was next level, and his patience throughout our long process was very appreciated.

On the day Harry, Taylor, and Mike were an absolute dream team. They were punctual and completely took the stress and worry out of the day and were a good laugh. They were incredibly considerate, taking care of both our old and new house, using plenty of floor protection and professional covers for our sofas and mattresses etc. Not a single scratch or break in the entire move.

If you’re looking for removals Plymouth, Big Tuna are hands down the best moving company Plymouth has to offer - competitively priced but also genuinely great at what they do so worth every penny and more. When dealing with literally everything you own it’s so important to go with people you can trust. Best of luck for the future boys.

We hired Big Tuna Removals to pack our entire house, move us to our new home, and assemble/disassemble furniture. From start to finish, the team was absolutely amazing!

Despite numerous complications on moving day—many of which were out of our control, including delays caused by other removal companies—the Big Tuna team handled everything professionally and with incredible patience. They worked far later than expected, remained cheerful and positive, and truly helped reduce our stress. Their calm demeanor and helpful attitude kept us relaxed and smiling, even when things were far from ideal. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them.

Given how late it was by the time everything was unloaded and with our new house not quite ready to receive all our belongings, we couldn't initially set things up where we wanted them. But true to their word, Big Tuna sent out two of their team members the very next morning to help us get everything into place once the house was fully ready.

This was an unusual situation that could have easily resulted in extra charges, but Big Tuna's priority was always our satisfaction. Their focus was on minimizing stress and making sure we were happy with the entire process—no matter the challenges. Customer service was truly outstanding, and I can't recommend them enough!

The packing job was flawless—everything was packed securely with top-notch protective equipment and care, including all my many fragile houseplants. Not a single thing was damaged during the move not even a leaf!

Big Tuna Removals is worth every penny. If you want a hassle-free, stress-free move, no matter what unexpected situations may arise, look no further. They go above and beyond!

A team from big tuna arrived to dismantle and dispose of old built in bedroom furniture. They were prompt, polite and efficient, did an excellent job and removed the scrap without complaint or hassle. I will not hesitate to use again if required, and the team should be congratulated on their attitude.

Hi I have just recently used James and his team for two waste removal jobs and couldn't be happier they was on time and they did a excellent job and price was good will definitely be using them again very soon

They were really as flexible as they could be to work around school pickup times and our difficult schedule and were just brilliant with everything! Would highly recommend!

2nd time using the company as they made such a great impression previously. And again James and his team didn't dissapoint. Showed in time, all belongings protected and secured for transport. Booked 2h and i didn't even had to check the time as they advised me they still had time to help me shift the furniture to the room of choice. Competitive priced but i would pay extra for this friendly and professional service. i hope i won't need another move for the future but if i did i would 100% be using Big Tuna Moving!

This is the second time I have used this company. James did a fantastic job. He was very reliable charged a great price and made the move easy. He is very organised and helped us out so much getting my daughters stuff out of storage and into her new flat. He even carried most of it up 4 flights of stairs. Thanks James see you next year
