My wife and I have travelled with Bike Odyssey on their Vikings! tour. TL;DR: we are now committed to 3 more Bike Odyssey tours! We have ridden on dozens of bike tours in Europe and the States, both self-guided and guided/supported (including other high-end tours). In our experience, Bike Odyssey excels: routes are well-designed; accommodations are top flight; guides are knowledgeable, thoughtful, and provide a high level of service. Can’t go wrong riding with them!

I cannot recommend Bike Odyssey Tours highly enough. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The cycling routes were beautifully curated and aligned to historical themes, whilst at the same time navigating us towards stunning views, diverse landscapes, and authentic charming towns. Every day brought something new and exciting.
The guides were truly outstanding: knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly supportive. Their local insights were invaluable, making the experience feel authentic and immersive.
What really sets Bike Odyssey Tours apart is the passion and enthusiasm of the team. Their energy was contagious and created a wonderful group dynamic with so many amazing memories.

My wife and I have now completed three tours with Bike Odyssey — Morocco, Japan, and most recently Turkey and Greece — and every trip has been outstanding.

The tours are exceptionally well organised, with excellent guides, high-quality accommodation, reliable transport, and great attention to detail throughout.

What sets Bike Odyssey apart is that their tours are not just about cycling. Each trip has a strong historical and cultural theme, giving you a real understanding of the places you visit and the people who live there.

We are both in our seventies, my wife rides an e-bike, and we have thoroughly enjoyed every adventure. There are certainly some challenging days, but Bike Odyssey does an excellent job of balancing the harder rides with easier days and well-timed rest days.

These trips have provided us with some truly wonderful experiences and memories. We would not hesitate to recommend Bike Odyssey to anyone looking for a well-run cycling holiday with a rich cultural dimension

After doing three bike odyssey tours we are signed up for another! These are great holidays in the best hotels and best locations plus there is excellent cycling as well! The routes are well designed to get maximum scenery, coffee stops and local culture. The staff are amazing, extremely attentive and always predicting what we need both on the bike and at our venues. Highly recommended!

My wife and I did the Turkiye and Greece bike tour last year and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We visited amazing places and learnt a lot about the history. The support and tour guides were excellent. We had very companionship from fellow travellers. I fully recommend and trust this company if biking is your favourite activities.

We have been on 3 tours and have 3 more booked. Bike Odyssey is an EXCELLENT touring company with first-rate guides, fabulous itineraries and attention to detail that is beyond belief. Importantly, this is a small company which means you interact with the owners, who are the decision-makers, not a sales rep or underling who has no authority to make decisions or changes based on your input. Truly, a valuable enterprise!!! I have no hesitation recommending these tours to friends.

Sam, Isi, and co. are the real deal. Cyclists can count on this Australia- and Europe-based operator, from picking the most interesting routes to handling logistics to supporting every rider, even not very experienced ones like me. I've been on three of their tours, Venetians, The Odyssey, and Tasmania. Their guides are excellent. And you'll learn some history and eat good food along the way.

I will soon embark on my tenth adventure with Bike Odyssey. The rides are well planned. The guides are friendly, proficient at bicycle maintenance and knowledgeable of the areas travelled.
I appreciate the rest days but there are always options for the keener riders among us.

We've been doing bicycle tours with Bike Odyssey annually for the last 10 years, most recently on the Shogun tour.
There's good reason we keep coming back. Fabulous destinations with well scouted routes that take you away from the main roads, great accommodation and meals, and fantastically helpful guides who are not in your face but always there when you need them.
They provide good and easy to use route mapping to stop you getting lost and not have to follow nose to tail.
There are also great cultural experiences to ensure that you don't miss out on the history, plenty of good riding and enough rest days to balance things out. Really looking forward to Alexander in 2027.

I have travelled with this company on 9 occasions. Their tours are well planned and supported with great attention to detail on all levels from the routes scouted to hotels selected and everything in between. Their guides are very knowledgeable about the regions in which they guide as well as being extremely personable and willing to assist guests in any way they can making for an indulgent experience every time.

I have done two Odyssey trips. After 45 years of taking bike trips, I can say these two were the best. The routes are well thought out. The guides are knowledgeable and primed for customer support. This company attracts people who are interested in learning new things, well traveled and love biking. This serves to add great collegiality no matter the size of the group. All in all Bike Odyssey gets an A+!

I've been on three tours with Bike Odyssey now - Shogun (Japan), Venetians (Croatia), and the Odyssey (Turkey, Greece). They run a first class operation. From guides and gear, to food and culture, they make sure your experience is top shelf.

I've ridden with several other outfits (backroads, etc) and keep going back. No one does tours like these guys. I've already got my next one booked - off for the Vikings tour in Norway.

The SHOGUN tour across Japan was phenomenal!

Shogun by Bike Odyssey is an absolutely brilliant ride through rural and quiet rindou roads, classic climbs and the Shimanami Kaido and with some town and minimal city riding. Great exposure to Japan's scenery, culture and food. Mechanical support, meals and snacks, logistics and local knowledge were all spot on. I would do it again.

I have participated in three Bike Odyssey tours: Hannibal, Lionheart, and Othello, and each one was unique and amazing. The routes are meticulously planned, a mix challenging rides and mountains to tick of the bucket list and spectacular scenery. The guides are knowledgeable, the accommodation and meals are excellent, love the picnics. I Highly recommend Bike Odyssey.
