A literal scam
I signed up for binge on my birthday because google told me they had a movie I had been wanting to watch. When I realised they didn't have it and that they just had nothing else I was all that interested in I spent the next ten minutes cancelling the subscription and even got the email saying my subscription was cancelled. Five months later today they charge me at the worst possible time when I NEED that money and when I go to talk to customer support I'm told it wasn't successfully cancelled and I will not receive a refund.
I just went to see if anyone else has had similar experiences and low and behold; they've done this to heaps of others. How are they still up? Don't waste your money on them, honestly.

Binge has no forgot password page
Apparently I had a binge account as I can't sign up or in because t h e website says my mobile number is already registered. But Binge doesn't give me a forgot password or username to sign in but asks for new number which I gave it but the new number doesn't fit Australian format although it ACTUALLY does 0xxxxxxxxx
Boring and overpriced
When first stumbling on Binge a few years ago they had some good movies and series for a very low cost. Now you pay 4x the price. I like one series on it currently so reinstated when offered $5 a month but there is absolutely nothing else to watch on it. The catch is to this $5 deal.. they are releasing this series 1 episode a week. Not worth it by the end of the series I will be hit with $19+and only using it for one show. Boring...

This is the second time I have tried to fix the same problem with Binge. Communication is tedious and frustrating.

Only sign up for binge if you never want to cancel your subscription. You can sign up with not one problem but when it comes to cancellation the cancel button doesn't seem to work. However, the button right next to it to confirm your current subscription or increase your subscription works with no issues. I do not recommend binge it isn't worth the hassle.

1️⃣-The shows are limited as if they are leftovers from other providers.
One dollar per month is what they deserve.
2️⃣-The TV app is horrible, it glitches, and doesn't start the show at the last point watched.
3️⃣-It takes minutes to start and sometimes doesn't start at all I even thought my remote or internet was not working.
4️⃣I had a one-month trial and forgot to cancel, I was two hours late and they refused to refund.

They make cancelling really difficult you need to jump through a bunch of hoops and bs. From there, if you press cancel and move to the next screen, it doesn't work guaranteed. I cancelled, and then got billed 2 days later. The second time, trying to cancel I hope it works this time. Overpriced, dishonest and I hope there is some way to lodge a complaint about this business practice.
Dugruntled binge client
So I signed up for 12 months only to find out the next month they no longer have HBO series. Now money has gone through fir another 12 months which I didn't want anymore. I then get email saying it is going to take 3 weeks for reimbursement. Not happy Jan.
Malicious unwarranted billing
I attempted to sign up to Binge on 23/10/25 and had technical difficulties, which resulted in not ever gaining access to the account. The signup process did kick off monthly billing though, which i wasn't able to cancel as i didn't have an actual account, and took three months for their technical support to resolve. They refused to refund the payments. I'm referring it to the ACCC. They're a technology company -- they can hardly claim it's not their fault when their online subscription page mistakenly starts billing you! Very disappointed and keen to warn others off dealing with them.

Sneaky onboarding UX
Sneaky onboarding UX which takes advantage of the free offer without explicitly telling of the coming charges. Do better please. This sort of of revenue raising tricks create crappy brands and leave potential customers with a poor taste in their mouth. Beware!

If it had a TV guide would get 4 stars, we downloaded My Foxtel app and use that TV guide.
But at $22 a month it’s way better than spending way more $$$$$ for Foxtel via IQ or Foxtel Now

DO NOT get this streaming service! once you start your subscription its almost impossible to cancel it, it states that there should be a cancel option after your prompted to the hubble page and there is not and the information that it gives you to cancel is completely incorrect. I now have had to contact customer support to cancel my subscription that must be done via hubble not binge itself, like wtf

The fact it's a 1.4 is suprising, they should use all the illegitimately renewed subscriptions to pay for positive reviews or fix their broken system.
