They are full of shit
They are full of shit
After my first donation of plasma I went down there a second time to donate plasma of course they wouldn't let me donate because something about abnormal protein they wanted me to go see my doctor and I did and the doctor said that the protein was fine but I went to draw blood to be sure to check my protein level and my protein level is fine
So I went back down there too give them the paper and the number to my doctor and the name of my doctor one of your nurses wanted to get information about my doctor on the computer apparently she couldn't find it one of the nurses that works over there is actually a liar the nurse pointed to one part of the chart and then talked about a spike I don't have abnormal protein levels at all after I showed the results of everything to one of the nurses
I'm not exactly sure what qualifications a person has to have over there to be working there but really they don't know what they are doing and I'm talking about the nurses that works over there
First of all we did plasma and they…
First of all we did plasma and they gave us our card of doing plasma and we didn’t even get our money on the card everybody kept on saying a fee, but we did not have no fee thinking about having a fee for a card. We only use the card once we didn’t even buy anything with the card we bought a Snickers bar and then we had to buy a bunch of groceries at Walmart so we use them. We try to use a card and they decline even though we only bought like a two dollar Snickers at the Family Dollar and the price was only like 64 bucks and there was 100 on the card awful service too
Rude Receptionist & Unwritten Policies
I solely signed up to donate plasma at BioLife to obtain their new patient financial benefits. Upon arrival, half an hour early, I had to wait 20 minutes in a line. Then, the greeting receptionist asked when I last ate. Being that I am vegan, eat healthy, and saw nothing in their online documents about food consumption requirements prior to an appointment, I was at a loss when asked about the time of my last meal. I reported the truth, which was that I ate at 8:00 am. The appointment was scheduled at 11:59, and Inwas told I could not donate. The receptionist was extremely rude in telling me this 'unwritten' requirement, and she called a nurse to speak with me privately. The nurse was great, though! This policy, as I explained to the nurse, was foolish! I explained that I have donated plasma and platelets for years and have never been turned away. Beyond this, it is one's body that detemines their ability to donate, NOT a verbal statement indicating their last meal! The nurse agreed that people can lie, and I could have done the same! However, I will not sacrifice my ethics and values to meet anyone's requirements! Although it will pay a bit less, I will return to CSL Plasma, where they are much friendlier and rely on actual facts to determine if I can donate! Your loss BioLife!!
Tiki is absolutely amazing and deserves…
Tiki is absolutely amazing and deserves to be recognized for everything she does. She is always willing to help, has such a positive attitude, and is one of the best at what she does. She’s consistently a great stick, making the donation process as comfortable as possible.
What makes her work even more impressive is that she’s often expected to care for six donors at once because BioLife is so understaffed. Despite being stretched incredibly thin, she never lets it affect the quality of care she gives. She stays kind, patient, professional, and treats everyone with respect.
BioLife is fortunate to have an employee like Tiki, but it’s clear the staff needs more support. The employees are doing everything they can, but they shouldn’t have to carry such a heavy workload. Tiki deserves recognition for going above and beyond every single day.
Their garbage website asks me to sign…
Their garbage website asks me to sign in every time I try to check my debit card history even though I'm already signed in & if I try signing in again (despite still being signed in), it sends me back to the previous page so it's just a stupid endless sign in loop.
I can't use their support form because every time I click "submit", it tells me to type my phone number even though my phone number is already typed.
Their chat option is just a shitty AI that keeps repeating the same wildly irrelevant message & bragging that it solved my problem even though it didn't.
The reason I'm even dealing with any of this is because my card keeps getting declined for no reason & has been for years & the bank they use is staffed entirely by wastes of space who openly refuse to do their job.
Their site & app also randomly just stop working so I sometimes have to get employees in their center to schedule an appointment for me in person or fix random glitches that make my appointment not show up despite being set.
The site also randomly signs me out extremely frequently & I have to sign in again nearly every time I visit even if I haven't turned my browser off. As you can probably imagine, this becomes a big problem when phone verification isn't working & I have to use email verification, which requires two tabs.
The Biolife employees are great but the companies in charge are garbage.
The Japanese owned company doesn't care…
The Japanese owned company doesn't care about the AMERICAN DONER That's why they pay you nothing, they are letting in illegals to donate thus driving your compensation DOWN! SPEAK UP YOU ARE AN AMERICAN, STOP HIDING,THE JAPANESE DONT OWN US WE OWN THEM.
IM GETTING TOGETHER A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THEM PLEASE SIGN UP AND GET WHAT YOU DESERVE FOR SELLING YOUR BODY!
Compensation for returning donors is terrible
1/The facilities are always understaffed.
2/Donation time duration is unpredictable, ranging from 2 to 4 hours.
3/ Compensation for returning donors is terrible and is 30.00 dollars to 40.00 dollars less than at other plasma facilities.

Overall I have had good experiences at the Georgetown location but I need to say this. Some of your staff there need more training. Once I was jabbed too deeply and felt a pop and developed a hematoma. During a later visit the first phlebotomist couldn't seem to find the vein and I ended up having to be stuck a second time. I was told that I had 'clotted' and they couldn't return 200 ml. I ended up with bruising on both arms. While this is not the end of the world it was not pleasant. I will return but please share with your staff to be a little more careful. Aside from that everyone is friendly and polite.
Wait times when its fully staffed
Why, at their busiest time ( in the morning) is the employee parking lot full but 2 people are poking customers and 2 are checking in...this makes zero sense

Had a scheduled appointment this past Sunday(Father's Day) at the Morrow, GA location. I would've been a first time donor, but I stormed out after the staff member at the front desk informed me ,I wouldn't receive a one time pay of the $700. My complaint is , the staff member that was checking me in, couldn't answer the question in regards to payment, she had to go in the back and speak with management and was very unsure. So would I have been in the chair, getting blood drawn and find out the I was gonna receive $90-$135. I would've snapped . So of course, I stormed out. I will take some accountability for not throughley reading the website.

This location CANNOT GET IT RIGHT!!
This location CANNOT GET IT RIGHT!!! I came in twice today and one associate says one thing, another associate says another. I drove twice this morning from Galveston for 2 appointments that were setup online and now they tell me I have to come back tomorrow due to the questions in the system. Why couldn't I have been told the 1st time I was here! This place is ridiculous. Don't come this this location in Webster, TX cause you'll just get the runarounds.
They suck!
They suck!! Not clinic I went to, the people who run their site!!! I went my 1st appointment back in May. When call to setup appointment they didn't tell me I needed to get a clearance from my doctor!!! The nurse told me the doctor would be in that Friday or Saturday should clear me to donate. There should be a message in my portal. It never showed up. I call up 929 number like 4 times, they don't have a clue what they are doing. All they give me the run around, they can't explain why I there aren't any messages in my portal!!! If you are under 65 find another company to donate too!! Unfortunately if you are from NYC they are only one that will take you if you are over 65!!! There is no way to contact the clinic to find out what's going,so I have take 3 hour around trip to the clinic to find!!! They totally suck!!!
Review for Biolife Plasma in Rochester, NY
Hello!
I wanted to write a review for this specific Biolife location. I was a first time donor at the Biolife Plasma Services in Rochester NY ( 52 Spencerport Rd ).
This is all new for me. I’ve donated blood prior at other places but I’ve never donated plasma before. Either way. It was a little rambunctious when coming in but that was due to it being mid-day and it being the first day of the work week. The staff were so nice and patient with me and everyone else. I talked to multiple of the workers and made me feel comfortable while donating!
It did take about 4 hours to get completely done but that’s because I’m a new donor. The main reason why I wanted to write this review was because of the Nurse Practitioner, Dinell! She was absolutely amazing. She made me feel so welcomed. Not only did she give me all the information that I needed it but she was patient and extremely helpful. She cares about the donors and her work. Talking to her felt so refreshing. I felt seen. Thank you again Dinell for making the first time experience great! Will be back again to donate more! We need more people like her in this profession!
They are butchers at Biolife on Harlem
They are butchers at Biolife on Harlem. Some dude name Matthew put a Huge knot in my right arm. He was overly aggressive when sticking me with the needle. Soon after it caused a huge knot to form. Not only that the stick was horrible and every spectrum. He should not be allow to stick due to lack of training.
The techs are grossly under trained
The techs are grossly under trained. I went in to donate and the tech tried to puncture my tendon instead of my vein which caused quite a bit of discomfort. Since blood draws is what they do on a daily basis they need to be trained better. I was a radiologic technologist for 27 years and regularly started IVs. I was very good at it and know the difference between a good and a bad poke.
Bad blood draw, painful and manager lied about money
The person could not draw my blood and it was extremely painful. The manager could not either and wanted to try my other arm but before I decided she stated I would get $20 if I wouldn't and I wS only getting $45 for the day so I took the $20 only to find our later it was o lt $10. The manager said they must have changed the pricing. My arm was still bleeding four hours later and it should have been done and normal after two. Wonder what damage wad done poking me. Manager shouldn't be one if you have to lie to customers or don't know policy.
BioLife Beware
I am filing this complaint against BioLife Plasma Services after two extremely negative and unsafe experiences at one of their donation centers.
On my first visit, I was kept waiting for four full hours before being taken back. After the donation process was finished, staff left me connected to the machine for an additional 30 minutes with no explanation or assistance.
My second visit was worse. The staff member inserted the needle far too deeply, causing a severe and painful bruise that lasted for days. The machine then stopped three separate times and had to be reset multiple times. After the procedure was finally complete, I was again left stuck on the machine for another 30 minutes while staff stood around talking about their weekends and fumbling with equipment, showing no concern for my situation. The center appears severely understaffed, and the employees present seemed untrained and completely uninterested in donor comfort or safety.
After these experiences, I received a promotional offer for $150. When I attempted to redeem it, I was told I was ineligible. It is clear that BioLife sends out these unclaimable offers regularly to lure donors back in, which feels deceptive and misleading.
These incidents have left me concerned about the safety and quality of care at BioLife. Improper needle insertion, repeated equipment failures, long periods of being left unattended while connected to machines, and untrained staff are serious issues. I strongly advise anyone considering plasma donation to go elsewhere.
Meatmarket, Overbooked, Long Waits
Meatmarket with a ridiculous process to donate. Make an appointment you have to be there 10 minutes prior, check in but then have to sit and complete a computer screening which can then push you past your scheduled appointment time and they can be jerks and send you away. After you complete your nonsensical computer questionnaires, you have to stand in a long line to have your vitals taken and can be rejected at that point as well. The 1st time the Medical Assistant put the needle in too far and it messed up my arm. They tried to blame me, it took over a month to heal, all the while I couldn't donate again anywhere. They overbook and they know it. Just a meatmarket that cares very little about you although if you are lucky enough to make it through the process, you'll get $100 which should be a heck of a lot more considering how much they sell it to hospitals for.
Arrived for a scheduled appointment and was closed?
Scheduled an appointment through the app for 3 o’clock. Arrived at the location at 3 o’clock on the dot and was told by staff that they were closed. They did not care at all that I had an appointment and did not provide any explanation as to how I was able to get a verified appointment for a time when the location is closed.
